Day 1: Arrive at the Gleneagle Hotel for early evening. Welcome drink on arrival followed by dinner in the restaurant and residents entertainment. Just a few miles from Killarney, the extraordinary scenery makes the Gap of Dunloe one of Kerry's most popular tourist destinations. Take a bus to the south side, walk through the gap and come back via the Lakes of Killarney.  

Dingle and Slea Head

This beautiful tour takes you to the most westerly point in Europe - Look out at the Atlantic Ocean. You can see the Blasket Islands that were last inhabited in 1954 and look further still - "Next Stop America".  

Tour of Killarney Highlights

This afternoon tour departs at 2 pm and returns at 5:30 pm. Our coach will take you to Ross Castle on the shore of Lough Leane, Muckross House & Gardens, Killarney National Park and the Torc Waterfall.

Ring of Kerry Bus Tours Starting in Killarney

You can take one of the buses that leave Killarney at 10am and 10:30am for a one day tour around the Ring of Kerry . It takes about seven hours and passes through the Iveragh Peninsula's many charming communities such as Killorglin, Glenbeigh, Cahersiveen, Waterville and Sneem, returning via Molls Gap, Ladies View & the Killarney's famous National Park superb views of Ireland’s highest mountain range, the MacGillycuddy Reeks. Buses generally have FREE WiFi for you to keep in touch with your friends and loved ones - make them wish they were with you by sending them a few pictures.

Two Day Tours: Alternatively, take the same buses and stay 24 hours in Killorglin , Cahersiveen or Waterville and catch the same bus back to Killarney the following day.

Buses follow the guidelines for tourist traffic to drive anti-clockwise around the Ring of Kerry . This is to minimise the need for traffic to reverse on the narrower sections of the road. NOTE! Buses & Cars can only travel clockwise from Killarney to access the car park at the Torc Waterfall car park just beyond the entrance to Muckross House.

The buses from Award Winning Deros Tours depart from their office at 22 Main Street, Killarney at 10.30am every day. The commentary is in English for most of the year but during the summer months it is Multilingual in English-French-Chinese Spanish and German.

Killarney Highlights

This is the Local Highlights Tour of approx. 3 hours duration, taking in all of the key local attractions e.g. Aghadoe (panoramic view of Killarney Lake district), Kate Kearney’s Cottage (Gateway to Gap of Dunloe), Ross Castle (15th Century restored Castle), Muckross House, Gardens & Traditional Farms (Magnificent Victorian Mansion and Gardens in the heart of the National Park), Torc Waterfall and Lake Views, etc.

Gap of Dunloe

Arguably, the most varied and exciting tour in Ireland. The Gap of Dunloe Tour is of approximately 7 hours duration. The day begins with a coach ride to Kate Kearney’s Cottage where, after partaking of suitable refreshments, the visitor then travels through the 7 mile Gap of Dunloe mountain pass on horseback, horse drawn trap or on foot if so desired, to Lord Brandon’s Cottage on the shore of the Upper Lake. Lunch can then be had before departing by boat through each of Killarney’s three lakes, arriving at the 15th Century Ross Castle, where your coach awaits to return you to Killarney.

Ring of Kerry

The Ring of Kerry is the most renowned scenic tour in Ireland. Throughout its 110 miles and 7 hour duration, you will travel around the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks and the Iveragh Peninsula, along the breathtaking Atlantic coast, Dingle Bay and Kenmare Bay, returning to Killarney through the famed Molls Gap, Ladies View and Killarney National Park. Enroute, are the lovely coastal villages of Glenbeigh, Waterville, Caherdaniel and Sneem and the thriving market towns of Killorglin and Caherciveen. The beautiful town of Kenmare is included in some tours and is a must for the independent traveller. The Ring embraces many points of historic and archaeological interest such as, Caherciveen Heritage Centre, The Skellig Rocks, The Skellig Experience (Valentia Island), Derrynane House & National Gardens, prehistoric Staigue Fort and Kenmare Heritage Centre.

Dingle Peninsula & Slea Head

Slea Head is Europe’s most westerly point and its outlying historic Blasket Islands are known locally as the “next parish to America”. The unsurpassed beauty of its rugged coastline and landscape inspired the famous film director David Lean, to shoot his epic film “Ryan’s Daughter” on location on the Dingle Peninsula. The landscape has over 2,000 ancient historic and archaelogical sites and early Christian dwellings such as, Gallarus Oratory (9th Century Christian Oratory), Beehive Huts (early Christian Monks dwellings) and the Blasket Islands Interpretive Centre. This tour passes through Milltown, Castlemaine and Inch before arriving at the beautiful fishing harbour town of Dingle, home of Dingle Oceanworld and Ireland’s favourite dolphin – “Fungi”. This trip takes approx. 6 hours. Other famous scenic spots and locations include the Conor Pass (Ireland’s highest mountain pass), Brandon Mountain (Ireland’s second highest mountain), Inch Beach, The Maharees and Brandon Point.

Beara Peninsula

Forming the coastal boundary between Kerry and Cork, the Beara Peninsula is the third of the great touring peninsulas of the south-west. This tremendous scenic tour takes in Kilgarvan, Kenmare, numerous coastal villages (Tuosist, Lauragh and Ardgroom) on the Kerry coast and through the West Cork coast fishing ports of Castletownbere, Bantry and the beautiful town of Glengarriff and nearby Garnish Island Italian Gardens. Places of interest include the Healy Pass, Bonane Heritage Park, Gleninchaquin and Derreen Gardens.

We stopped what must've been 20 or so times to see many hidden gems you wouldn't have seen or heard about unless you were with a local that knows the area. He was an experienced driver too, so we felt very comfortable with him behind the wheel. Darek has so much information to provide our group about historical events and present day history, and politely answered every question that came his way. Brian was a fantastic tour guide and filled us in on so much great history that we would not have known otherwise. Accommodated a last minute, day-trip booking and plotted it out so that I could see the town where my father grew up AND the cliffs AND the national park even though they were not in the same directions. We were looking for a scenic transport from Killarney to our final stop in Shannon and William did a great job for us! We stopped at Banna Strand Beach, a beautiful old church in a village we would have never seen on a big tour, had lunch in the beautiful town of Adare and stopped at Bunratty Castle. He picked us up at 9:30 AM at our B&B and we didn't get back until almost 7:00 PM. Long day but most enjoyable, went fast and we didn't want it to end. Several stops were made along the way for picture taking. The views got better and better as we went along. I've been on bus tours before but the private tour we had with William cannot compare. If you saw something you wanted to photograph, William would stop so you could get out and get a picture. We never felt rushed and spent more than enough time at each sight. He was most knowledgable about Irish history and culture, which was very interesting. I've been on bus tours before but the private tour with William cannot compare. The tour also included a ferry ride to Valentia Island, Torc Waterfall, Portmagee, Bog Village, Killarney National Park's Ross Castle and many other nice stops in between! He was a delightful tour guide and showed us all the sights we expected. The pacing was just right, we never felt rushed. We had originally thought we would drive the ROK, but decided to leave the driving to the professionals after a few days of driving ourselves. They were well versed in Irish history and great story tellers with the full Irish humor in bloom. The sites of Cliffs of Moher, Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula were spectacular. Moscow Metro 2019

Will it be easy to find my way in the Moscow Metro? It is a question many visitors ask themselves before hitting the streets of the Russian capital. As metro is the main means of transport in Moscow – fast, reliable and safe – having some skills in using it will help make your visit more successful and smooth. On top of this, it is the most beautiful metro in the world !

. There are over 220 stations and 15 lines in the Moscow Metro. It is open from 6 am to 1 am. Trains come very frequently: during the rush hour you won't wait for more than 90 seconds! Distances between stations are quite long – 1,5 to 2 or even 3 kilometers. Metro runs inside the city borders only. To get to the airport you will need to take an onground train - Aeroexpress.

RATES AND TICKETS

Paper ticket A fee is fixed and does not depend on how far you go. There are tickets for a number of trips: 1, 2 or 60 trips; or for a number of days: 1, 3 days or a month. Your trips are recorded on a paper ticket. Ifyou buy a ticket for several trips you can share it with your traveling partner passing it from one to the other at the turnstile.

On every station there is cashier and machines (you can switch it to English). Cards and cash are accepted. 1 trip - 55 RUB 2 trips - 110 RUB

Tickets for 60 trips and day passes are available only at the cashier's.

60 rides - 1900 RUB

1 day - 230 RUB 3 days - 438 RUB 30 days - 2170 RUB.

The cheapest way to travel is buying Troyka card . It is a plastic card you can top up for any amount at the machine or at the ticket office. With it every trip costs 38 RUB in the metro and 21 RUB in a bus. You can get the card in any ticket office. Be prepared to leave a deposit of 50 RUB. You can get it back returning the card to the cashier.

SamsungPay, ApplePay and PayPass cards.

One turnstile at every station accept PayPass and payments with phones. It has a sticker with the logos and located next to the security's cabin.

GETTING ORIENTED

At the platfrom you will see one of these signs.

It indicates the line you are at now (line 6), shows the direction train run and the final stations. Numbers below there are of those lines you can change from this line.

In trains, stations are announced in Russian and English. In newer trains there are also visual indication of there you are on the line.

To change lines look for these signs. This one shows the way to line 2.

There are also signs on the platfrom. They will help you to havigate yourself. (To the lines 3 and 5 in this case).
