In June 2022 the group revealed that they were working on their first album in five years and said it’d be accompanied by a world tour.

Take That’s eighth and most recent studio record, ‘Wonderland’, came out in 2017. Barlow and co. then released three new songs – ‘Out Of Our Heads’, ‘Spin’, and ‘Everlasting’ – as part of a 2018 greatest hits collection, ‘Odyssey’.

This July the band headlined the BST Hyde Park concert series in London .

Take That fans are getting excited as the group seem to be teasing a new tour.

The official Take That band logo has been projected onto arenas and football stadiums all over the UK, which suggests that the band are going to be hitting the road soon.

The famous TT symbol has been spotted at The O2 in London, the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, Carrow Road in Norwich, Ashton Gate in Bristol, Swansea.com Stadium, Home Park in Plymouth, Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium, and Stadium MK in Milton Keynes.

Whilst there has been no official announcement from Take That, Gary Barlow has shared the images on his Instagram Stories. “We all loved this,” he captioned one montage of pictures.

Some of the venues have been sharing the images on their own X (formerly Twitter) pages, including Plymouth’s Home Park, who also posted the zipped lips emoji.

One fan wrote: "So excited for this ❤️🎶"

Another added: "Yay!!!! @takethat ❤️❤️❤️🙌 So exciting!!!!!!"

The English pop group currently consists of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen. The original line-up, of course, included Jason Orange and Robbie Williams.

Greatest Days, a jukebox musical movie featuring the band’s classic songs, landed in cinemas in June. Speaking exclusively to virginradio.co.uk at the world premiere, Mark Owen told us : “This film, in a strange way, brought us together as a band again. So, I know the story is about a reunion of these guys, but it also gave us a reason to get in a room again.”

He continued: “We hadn't seen each other for a few years. And so once you start that process, then it’s like, ‘Oh, when shall we book a studio? Shall we start writing?’, and so it started us up again. It's a nice thing.”

Take That fans have been going wild over the past 24 hours as the band seemingly teased a UK tour.

The group – currently comprising of Gary Barlow , Howard Donald and Mark Owen - are due to release their first single in five years, Windows, on Friday - though it appears they're already preparing for something bigger.

Ahead of the song's arrival, the band's official logo has been projected onto stadiums and arenas across the UK, suggesting that a major run of dates is about to be announced.

Taking to social media, fans across the UK have emerged with photos showing the symbol on the side of the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, The O2 in London, Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol, Home Park Stadium in Plymouth, Stadium MK in Milton Keynes and more.

Fuelling speculation, frontman Gary shared the series of pictures to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday.

Comeback? Take That fans have been going wild over the past 24 hours as the band seemingly teased a UK tour (L-R) Howard Donald Gary Barlow and Mark Owen)

'We all loved this,' he wrote in one of the captions.

The band, who first formed in 1990, are also due to appear Zoe Ball's Radio 2 Breakfast Show on Friday, with the presenter tweeting that there are 'exciting announcements' on the way.

The Back For Good hitmakers inked a new deal with EMI Music Publishing earlier this year, and their upcoming LP will mark their first full length collection since signing on the dotted line.

Gary's bandmate Howard Donald - who completes the current line-up alongside Mark Owen - previously hinted at a 'new direction' with the new tunes and teased that the album is 'sounding absolutely brilliant'.

He said: 'We went out to Savannah (in Georgia) to actually record an album. We all did all our own stuff and we wrote together. We're pretty much in there, now. We're not far from finished.

'We're very excited because it's kind of a new direction for us as well. There are some cracking songs, well, I've got to say that. It's sounding absolutely brilliant.'

The pop trio reunited onstage at the King's Coronation Concert  at Windsor Castle in May, where they gave the live debut of their dance version of their track 'Greatest Day' with Calum Scott and DJ Robin Schulz.

Howard, Gary and Mark took to the stage to sing for the royal family and 20,000 fans at the historic residence in Berkshire, with a television audience of millions watching around the world.

Neither Jason nor fifth member Robbie Williams, 49, performed in a crushing blow to fans who dared to dream that the five-piece might come together.

But less than 24 hours after they left the stage, the group  announced their big comeback.

Sharing a video of themselves during the show on their Instagram, they wrote: 'It was incredible to perform live together again for the first time in 4 years and there is so much more to come. We're back for good.'

The band formed in 1990 with the original line-up consisting of Howard, Gary, Mark, Jason Orange, 52, and Robbie Williams, 49.

Robbie quit the band to pursue a solo career in 1995, while Jason left in 2014 .

Take That have teased a Wales gig with a projection of their logo on to a stadium. The Manchester 90s boyband played at the  Swansea .com Stadium back in June 2017 and the appearance of the logo has fans hoping they are coming back.

Earlier this year the stadium hosted the Artic Monkeys in the lead up to their Glastonbury appearance, and bands like the Killers and Elton John have played there in recent years. You can see a review of the last time they played in Swansea here.

No dates have been revealed by the Swansea.com Stadium and Take That’s tour dates have not yet been confirmed. That said, it is likely the band will arrive in Wales either in late May or June 2024. It is not clear when tickets for the Take That concert will go on sale.

The 'Progress' singers have said they plan to tour their forthcoming album in 2024, but no dates have been released. One person wrote on X: "A large Take That logo has been put up outside Swansea ’s stadium days out from the visit of Sheffield Wednesday. It takes Patience These Days, but Wednesday will Pray Everything Changes, they can Shine, have the Greatest Day and be Back For Good."

Take 2 for Tiger/Rory's indoor golf league officially set for January 2025

/content/dam/images/golfdigest/fullset/2024/3/SoFi-center-tgl-2025-rendering.jpg

The opening night for take two of TGL’s inaugural season has been set, with the new tech-infused team golf league slated for a prime-time debut Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025 on ESPN and ESPN+. TGL also has matches scheduled on the succeeding two Tuesdays as well as the league gets underway after its planned launch two months ago was scrubbed following damage to its stadium in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Week 2 of TGL’s season on Jan. 14 will air on ESPN following the network’s broadcast of the Monday Night Football Wild Card Playoff game. Week 3 then comes after ESPN’s coverage of the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. Each week features 15-hole matches between two teams that include both singles and three-man competitions.

TGL, which consists of six four-man teams featuring many of the game’s top PGA Tour players, was created by TMRW Sports, founded by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and former Golf Channel executive Mike McCarley. Rosters have yet to be finalized for all six teams. It has not yet been determined which two teams will play opening night.

“January is a tremendous time of year for fans looking for prime-time sports,” said McCarley, CEO of TMRW Sports, “and TGL’s launch will complement the start of the PGA Tour season and take advantage of ESPN’s promotional machine across their coverage of the NFL and college football playoffs.”

New design plans for SoFi Center’s steel-supported structure, the dedicated home of TGL, also have been officially unveiled. The new custom-built venue on the campus of Palm Beach State College, replaces the domed stadium that collapsed Nov. 14, 2023 when a severe storm caused a power outage, resulting in significant damage to the dome.

With a footprint of 250,000 square feet, the SoFi Center will seat 1,500 wrapping around TGL’s field of play, which is 97 yards long and 50 yards wide and is anchored by a 3,000-square-foot screen (20 times larger than a standard golf simulator screen) on which uniquely designed virtual holes will be projected. Teams will tee off from real grass tee boxes, and then as play advances inside 50 yards, players will move to a short-game complex that features changing topography and a special 41-yard-wide turntable that rotates the green and bunkers to alter pitching and chipping challenges.

College tour season is about to kick off. Here are 10 tips from college tour guides to have a successful campus visit.

  • As spring starts, colleges nationwide will welcome parents and students to tour their campuses.
  • College tour guides want people to arrive on time, ask the right questions, and have fun.
  • They also recommend students take the tours on their own, without their parents.

Insider Today

Spring break is right around the corner, and for many high-school students and their parents, that means many will be hitting the road to tour colleges around the country.

To make the most of your visit, Business Insider spoke with college students and tour guides. They know the campuses like the backs of their hands, and they know how to walk backward.

Here are the dos and don'ts of college tours from student guides .

1. Get there with no time to spare, but don't be late.

You won't get points for arriving early, so try to arrive on time. But if you do happen to arrive late , there's no need to worry.

"If something comes up and you are late, ask your guide what you missed once the tour finishes," Skyler Kawecki-Muonio, a senior at Sarah Lawrence College in New York, told BI. "They will happily fill you in."

2. Dress to impress, but don't sacrifice comfort.

It's important to look nice, but you don't have to don a jacket and tie. Tour-goers should put their best foot forward with a sturdy pair of walking shoes , and don't forget to dress for the weather.

"At Fairleigh Dickinson, tours go out rain or shine, so make sure to wear clothes that will keep you warm," Emily Bone, a junior at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, said .

3. Don't forget to sign in, but skip the résumé .

Most schools have a check-in desk where you'll receive a campus map and other literature. But don't bother furnishing schools with your portfolio.

"Students can leave their résumés at home," Henry Millar, a senior at the College of William & Mary in Virginia, said. "Tour guides generally do not have any sway in the admissions process whatsoever, so feel free to save the paper."

4. Pay attention on the tour, but do it solo if possible.

Some schools offer to let parents and kids take separate tours, which has advantages.

"Get excited about your child's potential future in college, but give them some space to see what they think of that school on their own," Nathan Weisbrod, a junior at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, told BI.

Related stories

Students can comfortably ask questions without a parent present and compare notes afterward .

5. Ask all your questions, but avoid personal interrogations.

This is the time to inquire about any aspect of campus life , and don't feel shy about speaking up.

"Tour guides love getting questions because it allows us to cater the tour, especially in small groups, toward the needs and interests of the families on that specific tour," Halle Spataro, a senior at Bucknell University, said.

But some topics are off-limits, so don't ask your tour guide about their SAT scores , ACT scores , or what they wrote about in their essay .

6. Speak up, but let the student take the lead.

Parents may be tempted to raise their hands again and again, but this tour is about the student, so there should be space to let them shine.

"Try to take the back seat — or the passenger seat — but refrain from driving all of your child's interactions," Julian Jacklin, a junior at Reed College in Oregon, said. "Students who feel they can own that experience usually ask the most questions and engage with the tour more."

7. Say thanks, but don't leave with questions unanswered.

Maybe your guide didn't hear you, or your kid was reluctant to speak up. You can still get the information you want before leaving.

"There's a lot of information students are getting that day and a lot of excitement with being in a new place, which can make people forget to ask certain questions," Lorenzo Mars, a junior at Pepperdine University in California, said.

Therefore, get your tour guide's email address so that you can follow up .

8. You may know exactly what school is right but keep an open mind.

Don't be surprised if a city-living kid is suddenly intrigued by a small-town setting.

"The college search and college experience are all about getting to know yourself better and growing, so on a tour, students have to trust themselves and their judgment of the 'world' they've just stepped into," Thomas Elias, a senior at the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania, said .

9. Take in as much as possible, but remember to have fun.

Sure, preparing for the next four years can be scary and stressful. But it's also an exciting milestone, so enjoy the ride.

"These tours serve as great opportunities to learn more about colleges — along with their cities, culture, and people," Connor Gee, a sophomore at the University of Mississippi, said. "Have fun with it!"

10. Weigh the pros and cons of the school, but don't stop there.

Your tour may be over, but you can still learn other ways to immerse yourself in college life .

"See if the school offers additional experiences, like eating in the cafeteria or attending a class," Emily Balda, a senior at Seton Hall University in New Jersey, said. "Consider it 'food for thought.'"
