Genetics is the band from Argentina that performs early Genesis’ music with unique accuracy and passion. Their concerts are characterised for their fidelity to the original recordings and visual staging.
From 2011 to 2019 they performed the complete Genesis studio albums to mark their 40th anniversary: Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot , Selling England by the Pound, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Seconds Out, A Trick of the Tail and Wind & Wuthering in theatres of Argentina, Brazil, Perú and Chile, with great amount of public and review impact.
Genetics ’ masterful interpretation of Genesis’ compositions received praise from the local and international press including renowned musicians, highlighting the quality of their performances. Ignacio Rodríguez Genta -their first singer- died in 2015 and the band performed two In Memoriam Concerts with Steve Hackett in Buenos Aires. After those shows the band played with Steve in Lima, Perú.
During 2019 the band presented three different shows in Buenos Aires: the complete Wind & Wuthering album with guest drummer Javier Malosetti, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, with the original 1975 slideshow and finally The Black Show at Teatro Coliseo, one of the best venues in the country packed with 4.000 avid listeners. In 2021 they performed the Genetics Live show with the original staging and setlist from the 1973 first live record of Genesis. In 2022 they presented Lyceum 1980 in Argentina and Chile, with five sold-out concerts.
The band toured South America with Steve Hackett in 2023, presenting the Seconds Out show, and three solo pieces from Steve’s repertoire. This was followed by two shows in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and a 50th-anniversary celebration of Selling England by the Pound in Buenos Aires.
Genetics is:
Daniel rawsi, drums, percussion, effects and vocals, claudio lafalce, bass, guitars, bass pedals, effects and vocals, leo fernández, guitars, bass, bass pedals and vocals, horacio pozzo, keyboards and guitars, tomás price, lead voice, flute and percussion, guest musicians:, jorge araujo, javier malosetti (drums), claudio cardone, leo sujatovich, gerardo gardelín, pierluigi oliva (keyboards), ………………………………, a hommage to genesis.
A passionate and respectful act, Genetics recreates with accuracy the music of one of the most creatives rock bands of all time.
Considered one of the best tribute bands in the world, Genetics displays in every show a powerful yet precise interpretation of Genesis’ first decade.
The band revisits the most of the music released between 1970 and 1980: Trespass , Nursery Cryme , Foxtrot , Selling England by the Pound , The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, A Trick of the Tail, Wind & Wuthering, Seconds Out and also the legendary Lyceum 1980 concert.
They frequently tour with Steve Hackett since 2015, playing the classic Genesis repertoire and also the music from Steve’s solo career.
Many thanks to

The Best Genesis Tribute Bands
- Mar 25th 2019
- Official Post
Hi everybody
I am thinking about promoting Tribute bands more on this site. We do report about THE MUSICAL BOX frequently and they also have their own tour dates page here. Same with The Caroet Crawlers
Nevertheless, there are a couple of Tribute Bands around that would justify a separate tour dates page.
So, do you have suggestions for me? I noticed some of you like LOS ENDOS. Anything else?
- Mar 26th 2019
I have been promoting "The Genesis Show" as often as I can on the site. They are outstanding! Musically, they are to the 4-man (and early 3-man) Genesis what "The Musical Box" is to the Gabriel-era.
I'll continue to post about them - I'm seeing them in both April and June; they are doing an Abacab tour for the first time after doing a "Seconds Out" set since their inception.
Their website is:
https://www.thegenesisshow.com/
Piers here from G2 Definitive Genesis (keyboards). If you'd like any info feel free to ask, but you could probably find anything you need on on http://www.g2online.co.uk . Thanks.

I saw you guys play when I was still living in England! You were excellent!
Yes, Christian , I second promoting them as well!

Can I suggest anyone craving early Genesis give us a try. Here’s our latest promo, which has hopefully may appeal to some!
2019 offers our audiences a significantly different experience - sort of Genesis Live and then Seconds Out, plus Nige as 1973 Peter Gabriel with the appropriate hair, parting and makeup plus pyrotechnics for a certain song!
For the first time we are using video effects and video sequences in the backdrop screens. In the Seconds Out set we feature double drumming sequences which adds further to the authenticity of the experience!
2019 is simply our best show ever.
We must point out that double drumming and pyros are very much venue dependent(see detail below). Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see the best ever Genesis Tribute show! There are limited venues available and limited seats. These shows will be selling out, so don’t leave it too late, please 😊
13th April Crescent Theatre, Birmingham £21.25/£19 (inc double drumming, pyros and John Hackett!) Tickets here
27th April The Plaza, Romsey £17 (inc double drumming) Tickets here
1st June Charterhouse £19.80 (inc double drumming) Tickets here
15 June Aylesbury £13.50 (no double drumming or pyros) Tickets here
27 July Salisbury Arts Centre (double drumming) - tickets soon to be released!
28 September The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre, Havant (no double drumming) Tickets here
26 October Hanger Farm, Totton, Southampton (no double drumming) tickets soon to be released!
8 November The Tropic, Ruislip (no double drumming) Tickets here
Personally, the best I have seen is The Watch. I have seen ReGenesis who were wonderful and Musical Box who were good albeit very expensive but The Watch are the most enjoyable.
- Mar 29th 2019
Thanks for your input so far! That really helps to get an idea what kind of tribute band is actively touring AND respected by fans outside Germany.

I didn't get to see The Watch when I was still living in England (they sound great, though); however, I did see ReGenesis, and they are very, very good too.
I also saw the tribute band "Mama" when I was there too - are they still around? They were quite good as well. I also saw "Los Endos", another excellent tribute. Are they still around as well?
http://www.mama-genesis.co.uk - still around, I saw them twice in Chester, John Wilkinson, the vocalist, was appointed as a moderator at the same time as myself on the old forum, but he drifted away, I guess the band took his time up. They were very good, John and the bassist, Dave Jones, who I think played his first show the first time I saw, them were very good.
PS: Dave plays bass on 3 tracks on the new Tim Bowness album.

Ah, I’m glad they are still going - I saw Mama twice, once in Nantwich and once in Sheffield, about 5 or 6 years ago. I’ve met John; he’s a very nice guy. And that’s great news about Dave - I hope it leads to more opportunities for him.

My view on tribute bands has always been as follows:
We are all (mostly) fans of Genesis and we do what we do out of a love for the music. So why don't you go and give all the tribute bands your support.
Best wishes

Alan from Los Endos Ultimate Genesis here - promote away! We're very much alive and well and playing Gabriel/Hackett era Genesis.
We are here www'losendos.co.uk and our shows listed here https://www.losendos.co.uk/gigs.php 2020 is "Take a Little Trip Back" - the fans choice of songs from the albums from Trespass to And Then There Were Three.

Yes, The Genesis Show is superb! I love The Musical Box, but the vibe with TGS is different and cool. They are 5 regular guys who as I understand it met in high school and bonded over their mutual love of Genesis. The band members all live regular lives with 9-5 jobs and families and thus only perform semi-regularly. Their next show is at the Levoy Theater in Millville, NJ on Oct 16, 2021. It’s a combo Three Sides Live/Six of the Best setlist. Can’t wait to see them again!

I’ve seen several of the tributes in England multiple times, always a great night out. The Musical Box do what they do better than anyone else ever could. But I’ve probably had even better nights out at Regenesis and G2 gigs. Looking forward to seeing G2 again and would love Regenesis to have another go. Now I’ve retired I intend to try as many as possible.

Speaking as someone who was in a Genesis Tribute band (that's me on the double neck, 12-string and bass in the above posted video of the Genesis Show), it's hard to pick a "best" tribute band and in fact, I would avoid doing so. If you want to relive EXACTLY what Genesis produced in the early '70s, then it's hard to beat the Musical Box. But I view them almost as a Broadway show (I don't mean this disparagingly) in that everything is exactly the same, night after night after night. They literally reproduce (or used to anyway) ONE show in a given tour. The other band names mentioned are much more "live" and "loose", if that makes any sense, definitely the way Genesis were back in the day, IMHO. So a mix of both types is really cool; I hope you encourage all these bands as they pour their soul and sweat in reproducing very complex music. Cheers.

I agree 100% about the Musical Box. Given the fact that most of the time they are either doing the LLDOB tour or SEBTP tour I’ve wondered how the band doesn’t get bored out of its skull playing the same music note for note and telling the same Gabriel-era stories word for word for nearly 30 years. To their credit they are mixing things up on their current tour, with the first half of the show being stuff from ATOTT thru ATTWT and the second half being Gabriel-era material. That decision to mix things up may be a product of financial necessity. The last couple of times I saw them doing the SEBTP tour (this was prior to Covid) the theater was maybe 2/3 full. Prior to that every show I saw them perform was sold out.

Probably quite true. As an uber mega Genesis fan (I actually study all the parts), even I got slightly bored watching, for example, my 5th SEBTP tour concert from TMB. They are also officially licensed by Genesis, i.e., I'm guessing that they need to pay them some pretty significant royalties to use their slides and other props. Maybe all of this is contributing (in addition to boredom - I know I would be) to the change-up that they're exploring in the current tour. The downside is that they sort of lose their raison d'être by doing so - people associate TMB with an exact replica of an old Genesis show. Doing a "best of" detracts from that. There are pros and cons of course. Take care, Andre.

In addition to seeing Genesis this November I’ve got tickets for both The Genesis Show and The Musical Box this fall. To be perfectly honest at this point I’m much more excited about seeing Genesis and TGS. Hopefully mixing up their setlist will reignite my love for TMB.

Ultimate genesis.
Los Endos capture the excitement of a live Genesis gig from the Seventies, with a 2½ hour show of scintillating musicianship and a state of the art light show. Featuring music from their early heyday when Peter Gabriel sang and Steve Hackett played guitar to when Phil Collins took centre stage, Los Endos have focussed on music from all the hit albums of the 70’s plus a few surprises.
As avid fans of the music the band and technical crew have spent many hours creating a show that is second to none in bringing to life some of the greatest music of the era – 'Probably the best Genesis Tribute Band in the UK'.
So please explore the site, check out the gigs and keep prog rock music live.
Latest News - 26th September 2023
The band are now embarking one of their busiest ever tours performing 'Take a Little Trip Back, Again' to delighted audiences around the country, as Essex and Tyneside can attest! Surrey, Kent and Oxfordshire are on the radar - Please check out our upcoming gigs here . As David Smith from Essex said "Thank again for bringing such great enjoyment to us all. I suggest that you drop the “Probably” from your advertising, as you have proved to be the best Genesis tribute band in the UK for many years !"
Gig News - Show theme for 2024
1973-74 was an amazingly productive period for GENESIS, with the releases of Selling England and the Lamb, probably the artistic pinnacle of their early period. How else could Los Endos - Ultimate Genesis celebrate the 50th Anniversary of this moment in time but to craft a set of the very best of these masterpieces that we have called 'Selling Lamb by the Pound'. Come and enjoy a 2½ hour set of the very best of this music crafted for you by probably the best Genesis tribute in the UK - great sound, great light show, great experience - the greatest of prog rock. Only the finest cuts, as our poster says!!
Steve Hackett continues to tour the amazing music of Genesis (thanks Steve!) it makes you realise that the magnificent music he produced with Genesis is timeless (and not embarassing or pretentious as critics have maintained until recently) and if you want to enjoy the exhilaration of this music live and up close you can't do better than Los Endos. We are proud to be selling signed copies of 'My Book of Genesis' by Richard MacPhail on our merchandise desk at gigs. Take a look at the new T-shirts while you're there, and say 'Hello' to Carole!

Testimonials
Thanks very much for a fantastic evenings entertainment at the Mick Jagger Centre. I thought you performed the songs with great skill and heart. Loved the synths on Cinema Show (so much like the 76-77 live Genesis) and the pair of And Then There Were Three tracks in particular - I have always thought it an underrated album in their catalogue and it was good to see those treasures dusted off. You were really on fire during The Lady Lies. The whole show was superb. - Rhys Hughes
Saw you on Saturday night at The Mick Jagger Centre, excellent night, thank you all very much. I lived through that musical period in my early twenties and saw Genesis a few times but that was a long time ago and it is really good to hear the material again. What I found great is you were not trying to be Genesis, but playing their music like an orchestra playing Beethoven. - Rob Jones
Absolutely did it, wonderful doesn't even cover it...thank you guys (at both ends of the room) for a very very special evening.. never thought I would hear anything again live of this quality and Genesis inspiration, take a bow....and major thanks to our host for bringing you to the Northcourt. Saw Steve Hackett's Genesis show in Oxford in 2017 with a pal who's no longer with us, ...I'm so upset that he wasn't there last night to enjoy the quality too. - Alan Cockbill
Saw you for the first time recently in Hastings. There were a lot of pissed-up old rockers in but it was a brilliant night. I'd recommend anybody to go see you guys. Really great to see a band keeping classic music alive and treating the pieces like standards without all that trying to look like the originals b******s. It's about the music. I saw Genesis quite a few times but I'm not sure I ever saw them play such a thoughtfully selected and varied set of songs. Come back down south soon....! - Andrew McDuffie
Just wanted to say I was blown away by how good you were last night in Aylesbury! First tribute band I've ever seen so wasn't sure what to expect. Took my dad (who had been to the 1978 Knebworth gig himself...before I was born!). He LOVED you as did I! I knew you were going to have to be fantastic musicians to play Genesis but, you were all PHENOMENAL! Never heard anything like it! More gigs in Buckinghamshire please! And BOURNEMOUTH so I can take my mum who went to the same gig in 78! Thank you, you were incredible. ps Ripples and Los Endos were my favourite! - Vienna Guy
So, Los Endos? I'd never heard of them. I've seen a similar world-renown tribute band a couple of times- the effect on the mind-bank is the same- you travel back to days when long-hair, flares and one or two tee-shirts were daily attire. The first notes of 'Can Utility and the Coastliner's' immediately convinced me that this band were high-calibre die-hards - the sound was identical! - Patrick Morgan
What a show, I closed my eyes and it sounded just like Genesis, absolutely brilliant. This is our second time we have been to see you in Torquay and we bought along some friends also die hard fans they loved it. Looking forward to seeing you again next year! - Tim Sample
I saw Genesis in early 1973 at the Greyhound in Croydon. Your show fully does them justice. The extended numbers are wonderful, the sound is fantastic (been to too many gigs where the sound kills the ears), and the lighting adds to the dark effect of so much Genesis music. Thank you - Dave Blackman
What a staggeringly great gig this was. I got goosebumps on several occasions during your performance. Fabulous! - Guy Austin
Brilliant show. One of the most enjoyable concerts I've ever been to. Looking forward to seeing you again. - David Preece
Fantastic night, again. Full house. See you again soon. - Graham Davies

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:
From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.
At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.
According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.
The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.
Coffee Ring
The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.
Zodiac Metro
According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.
Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.
Paleontological finds
Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!
- Every day each car in Moscow metro passes more than 600 km, which is the distance from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
- Moscow subway system is the 5th in the intensity of use (after the subways of Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai).
