The world is in the grips of Midnights madness. Taylor Swift’s latest studio album is dominating charts like nothing has in history, currently owning all Top 10 spots on the Billboard 100.

Now, Swift has announced her first major stadium tour in five years — and before you get too excited, know there might be some bad blood that gets in the way of your mad love.

I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past & present!) The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can! https://t.co/KFuqvrhSGo pic.twitter.com/eVyTcuW8sK — Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) November 1, 2022

With a majority of NFL stadiums on the tour schedule there are 10 teams/cities who won’t get the opportunity to see Tay Tay live. It’s not a huge problem for some of these fans like in Cleveland, who need to make a relatively short drive to Cincinnati , but some poor souls will have to make a multi-state pilgrimage in order to be one of the lucky Swifies seeing her live.

Let’s be real, by the time you’re reading this tickets are already super sold out and you’ll be having to vie for a seat on the secondary market. Still, in an effort to provide you with a service, here are the NFL cities getting left out of “The Eras Tour” and the nearest place you’ll need to travel in order to see Taylor live.

Every team snubbed by Taylor Swift (and where you need to go)

  • Baltimore, MD (Ravens): Need to travel to Philadelphia, PA — 1 hr 32 mins away
  • Buffalo, NY (Bills): Need to travel to Pittsburgh, PA — 3 hr 15 mins away
  • Charlotte, NC (Panthers): Need to travel to Atlanta, GA — 3 hr 56 mins away
  • Cleveland, OH (Browns): Need to travel to Cincinnati, OH — 3 hr 45 mins away
  • Green Bay, WI (Packers): Need to travel to Chicago, IL — 3 hr 21 mins away
  • Indianapolis, IN (Colts): Need to travel to Cincinnati, OH — 1 hr 44 mins away
  • Jacksonville, FL (Jaguars): Need to travel to Tampa, FL — 3 hr 20 mins away
  • Miami, FL (Dolphins): Need to travel to Tampa, FL — 3 hr 54 mins away
  • New Orleans (Saints): Need to travel to Houston, TX — 4 hr 8 mins away
  • Washington D.C. (Commanders): Need travel to Philadelphia, PA — 2 hr 8 mins away

Update: It’s been pointed out to me that both Detroit and Pittsburgh are closer to Cleveland than Cincinnati is, at 2 hr 41 mins and 2 hr 11 mins respectively. I am sorry for the error, but do not apologize for thinking the midwest is weird for this factoid.

Here are some fun facts based on the teams left out of Taylor’s new tour

  • Four teams need to travel to a division rival’s stadium to see Swift (Panthers, Bills, Browns, Packers)
  • FedEx Field missing out is the second major snub for Dan Snyder’s stadium after he also missed out on hosting any games for the 2026 World Cup.
  • David Tepper boasted that he brought live music to Charlotte , but Swift is not stopping at Bank of America Stadium

Next Up In NFL

  • Giants create cap space by re-structuring Dexter Lawrence’s contract, per report
  • K.J. Osborn trusting Patriots’ plan at quarterback, ready to embrace the ‘grind’ of a rebuild
  • Vonn Bell and Bengals having eerily similar reunion to a former Bengals star
  • Report: Colts have Top 30 visit scheduled with Texas WR Xavier Worthy before NFL Draft
  • The NFL draft QB prospect who already knows the Rams playbook
  • Eagles need more from their draft picks to sustain a Super Bowl roster

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Verified Fan Onsale is using registration to ensure more tickets get into the hands of fans who want to go to the shows, not buyers looking to resell them.

Only fans that receive an email confirming their access will be able to join the queue for this Verified Fan Onsale. Fans who are selected will receive additional instructions on Wednesday, November 8. All others will be put on a waitlist.

Tickets for these shows will be in high demand, therefore, a limited number of fans will get access to the Verified Fan Onsale while others will be placed on the waitlist as described below. Access to the Verified Fan Onsale does not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while currently-available inventory lasts.

Registration is open from Thursday, November 2 at 8:00 a.m. PT through Saturday, November 4 at 5:00 p.m. PT .

Key Dates to Know

Thursday, November 2 – Registration opens Saturday, November 4 @ 5:00 p.m. PT – Registration closes Wednesday, November 8 – Fans will receive confirmation if they will have access to the Verified Fan Onsale or if they have been placed on the waitlist.

Thursday, November 9 – Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Verified Fan Onsale (only fans that received an email confirming their access will be able to join the queue for this sale). All shows will be assigned specific on-sale windows, which will be communicated prior to the start of the sale.

How Will This Sale Work?

Ticketmaster is helping artists give their fans a better opportunity to purchase tickets by creating an extra line of defense against bots and professional resellers who are looking to sell tickets for profit. The process includes three steps:

Step 1: Registration

By registering for the Verified Fan Onsale, you are letting us know that you’re interested in purchasing tickets. From the registration page, you sign into or create your account, select your preferred show(s) and register your email and phone number. Once completed, you’ll automatically receive a confirmation email letting you know that we got your request. It’s quick, easy and free to sign up.

Step 2: Verification

Next, Ticketmaster vets each request by confirming it belongs to an individual — not a bot — and that it hasn’t been tied to irregular behaviors that could be a sign of a professional seller attempting to access the sale.

Step 3: Access Code or Waitlist

When demand exceeds availability, a limited number of registered Verified Fans will get access to the sale and others will be placed on a waitlist. You’ll receive an email on Wednesday, November 8 letting you know which group you’re in. If selected to get access to the sale, you’ll receive a unique access code and purchase link via text message the day prior to your Verified Fan Onsale.

While no system can guarantee that all fans will get tickets to the show(s) they’re interested in, the Verified Fan program works to significantly block bots and professional resellers from competing against fans for tickets during the sale.

Common Questions

How do i register.

  • To register, please visit: HERE
  • Sign in using your My Account or create an account if you don’t have one.
  • Tell us what show you’re interested in and submit your registration; we’ll keep you up to date with all the latest information.

We’ll send you a confirmation email to let you know your registration was successful and what you can expect next.

If I receive access to the Verified Fan sale, am I guaranteed tickets?

No. Access means you have an opportunity to join the Verified Fan sale but it is not a guarantee you’ll be able to purchase tickets. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis while currently-available inventory lasts.

If I received access to the Verified Fan sale, how do I purchase tickets?

  • At the specified time, click the link you were sent.
  • You’ll enter the Smart Queue. To keep your place in line, stay on the page and don’t refresh. Do not open more than one browser window.
  • Once it’s your turn, shop for tickets by using your unique access code. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis while currently-available inventory lasts and aren’t guaranteed. Each event has a strict four (4) ticket limit per customer.
  • Then checkout!

How many tickets can I buy with my code?

You can purchase up to 4 tickets for the one show indicated in the text you received.

When will the Waiting Room open?

The Waiting Room will open 30 minutes before the designated Verified Fan sale window begins. When the Verified Fan sale begins, fans in the Waiting Room are assigned a spot in line. Once you reach the end of the queue, you’ll have an opportunity to shop for tickets. Stay on the page and don’t refresh or you may lose your spot in line.

You must use the same Ticketmaster account that you registered with to join the Waiting Room.

How do I join the queue?

Sign in through the link that we texted to the phone number you provided during registration to access the queue.

What can I do to prepare?

If you’ve been selected to participate in the Verified Fan sale, we recommend that you prepare by signing into your Ticketmaster account before the Verified Fan sale to make sure your billing information is up to date. This will help speed up the checkout process after you’ve selected the tickets you want to buy.

My link isn’t working. What should I do?

If you registered and received access to shop for tickets through text or email from Ticketmaster, but the link’s not working, try checking these things first:

  • Make sure the event is on sale. Links are sent out before the event goes on sale but won’t work until the event is actually on sale.
  • You must be signed in with the same email address you used to register for the Verified Fan sale.

Will there be other ways to buy Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour tickets?

The only official way to get Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour tickets is through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan Onsale or through certain other limited tour-sponsored onsale opportunities for specific shows. Be on the lookout for information on these other opportunities where available.

I got an email saying I’m on the waitlist. What does that mean?

If you’re currently on the waitlist, stay tuned — you may still have an opportunity to shop for tickets.

When there are more fans than there are tickets, a limited number of fans will get access to join at the start of the Verified Fan sale and others will be placed on the waitlist.

More fans may get access to join the Verified Fan sale based on ticket availability. If you’re selected, you will receive a text with a link to join the Verified Fan sale. Please note, moving off the waitlist does not guarantee access to tickets. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis while currently-available inventory lasts.

Can I register more than once to increase the likelihood that I am able to purchase tickets ?

Registering more than once for a specific event does not increase the likelihood that you are able to purchase tickets . If you want to change the event date you selected after you’ve registered, you can make those edits while the registration window is still open. We only keep the last registration you submitted.

I received a confirmation email after I registered, what does that mean?

The email is simply to inform you that we have received your registration and will be working to verify your account. It doesn’t guarantee that you will be selected for the Verified Fan sale access. A second email will be sent on Wednesday, November 8 letting you know if you will get access to the sale or if you’ve been placed on the waitlist. If selected, the day prior to your Verified Fan sale you’ll receive a text message with a unique access code and link to use.

I’m a real fan of this artist, and not a bot or reseller. Why didn’t I get access?

Selection is not a measure of how big a fan anybody is. Sometimes there simply aren’t enough tickets for everyone. When demand exceeds availability, a limited number of fans get access to the Verified Fan sale, and others must be placed on the waitlist. The number of fans who receive access depends on the number of tickets currently available — this is done to help create a less crowded ticket shopping experience for fans.

How will I know if I’ve been granted access to the Verified Fan sale after I’ve been placed on the waitlist?

If selected, you will receive a text with a unique access code and link to the ticket sale. In the event of any SMS/texting delivery issues, we’ll email your unique access code and link to the email address associated with your Ticketmaster account that you used to register. Access to the Verified Fan Onsale does not guarantee tickets. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis while currently-available inventory lasts. If you’re sent a unique access code and link you should join the Verified Fan sale as soon as possible for your opportunity to purchase tickets.

u.s. american stadium tour 2023

Taylor Swift announced Tuesday morning her long-rumored return to the road, with an outing dubbed the “ Eras Tour ” scheduled to hit U.S. stadiums beginning in March 2023 and running into August, with international dates set to be revealed later.

The support acts are very much all about the sisterhood, with a host of acts Swift has championed in the past. Opening acts for the U.S. leg of the tour are Paramore , Haim , Phoebe Bridgers , Beabadoobee, Girl in Red, Muna, Gayle, Gracie Abrams and Owenn.

The tour starts March 18, 2023 in what is apparently a sweet spot for Swift, Glendale, Ariz., the same place her last outing, the pre-pandemic “Reputation” tour, began in 2018.

As for which album we can consider the tour to be supporting, since she has released four original studios albums since her last tour? All of them. Swift described the tour as “a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!),” with a graphic showing her look from different phases of her career.

See the full itinerary, with color-coded graphics indicating which of the nine opening acts got the gigs in which cities:

The public on-sale happens at 10 a.m. local time on Nov. 18. As with all major tours nowadays, there will be an earlier rollout of tickets for credit card members, in this case holders of Capital One cards, beginning Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. through Nov. 17 at 10 p.m. local times.

As with her previous tour, there will be a Ticketmaster Verified Fan program “to ensure tickets get into the hands of fans.” Aspiring ticket buyers can register for the setup now through Nov. 9 here .

Unusually in the modern era of variably priced “platinum tickets” where fans get little information about set ticket prices, Swift has announced the cost of her tickets in advance. They run from $49 up to $449, with VIP packages that start at $199 and go up to $899.

Swift’s announcement promised that international dates are to follow.

There was an attention to detail in the tour announcement even in the graphics signifying the opening acts at different spots in the tour routing, with Bridgers, for instance, being represented by a tiny ghost, in honor of the skeleton costume she’s used on her own headlining tours.

Not accidental, probably, is how that same graphic breaks the tour itinerary down into two columns of 13 dates each. There will be 27 shows in 20 cities. The venues getting a two-night stand are in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Chicago, as well as Arlington, Texas; Foxborough, Mass.; and East Rutherford, N.J.

The reception for “Midnights” upon its October release left no doubt just how strong the appetite for Swift tickets will be. It had the biggest week since Adele’s “25” album, per Luminate this week, with 1,578,000 album-equivalent units. Additionally, it was announced Monday that for the first time in history, all 10 top slots of the Billboard Hot 100 were filled by a single artist’s songs, with “Anti-Hero” leading the way at No. 1. Fans very much wanted the full album, anyway — of the nearly 1.6 million album units registered for “Midnights,” 1,140,000 were copies purchased in the form of the full album. It became Swift’s fifth album, out of her 10 original studio releases overall, to sell a million-plus copies in the first week out. The figure also represented the best first-week sales for an album by any performer since “Reputation” came out of the gate with 1,216,000.

The “Eras Tour” is being produced in-house by Taylor Swift Touring and promoted by the Messina Touring Group.

The tour’s opening acts expressed their enthusiasm in their own ways, such as the tweet from Muna that declared the group “gay for Tay” and pictured the trio in miniature, resting atop Swift’s lighter on the “Midnights” album cover.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour: All the U.S. and international dates and opening acts

eras tour fedex field

Taylor Swift opened the Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona — which rebranded itself as "Swift Cit y" for the March 17 and 18 concerts — with a triumphant return to live performance as the first act in the history of that venue to sell out two nights on the same tour.

By that point, she'd already broken the all-time record for most concert tickets sold by an artist in a single day and passed Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour as the highest-grossing tour in history by a female artist.

And Swift rose to the occasion , leading her band through a marathon 44-song set that lasted more than three hours while delivering on her promise of "a journey through all of my musical eras."

So what does she do for an encore? Here's where the Eras Tour is headed next, adding two surprise songs to the set at each show. Here's a look at what she's played so far .

Taylor Swift Taps Paramore for European Eras Tour Run

Taylor Swift knows we need more — so she’s giving us just that. The singer has added 14 more shows to the European/U.K. leg of her Eras Tour , and announced that Paramore will provide support throughout the trek.

“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour,” Swift wrote on Twitter Wednesday, July 5. “And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore !! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Last month, Swift added dozens of shows to her Taylor Swift: The Eras stadium tour — bringing the total count of shows to a whooping 104 nights . She also extended her run at Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium with a sixth show scheduled for Aug. 7.

The new addition comes after the singer announced shows in Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Europe earlier this week. (See below for the full tour dates.)

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

She also added more dates to her already-announced Latin America tour. After wrapping her U.S. dates in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, Swift will head to Mexico City for four straight shows at Foro Sol starting Aug. 24. She’ll then stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in Brazil in November.

Swift first announced the tour last October after she completely took over the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with Midnights . The added dates, which follow the addition of eight new shows last week, were slotted in “due to unprecedented demand,” according to the singer’s camp.

“Good Morning America, it’s Taylor,” Swift said during the announcement. “I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time and I’ve been planning for ages, and I finally get to tell you I’m going back on tour. The tour is called the ‘Eras’ tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

The tour began on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona and extends through Aug. 9, where the singer will wrap with a fifth night at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Swift still has stops left in Detroit, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Seattle, and Santa Clara.

Maren morris' next tour is entirely in the hands of her fans, megan thee stallion turns up the heat with 2024 hot girl summer world tour dates.

Across the tour, Swift is being supported in select cities by a combination of special guests including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

The Eras tour follows the cancelation of her planned 2020 Lover Fest tour, which was originally going to see her make stadium stops in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York, along with Brazil, Denmark, Norway, and Poland. “This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future,” she wrote in 2021.

Swift last went the road in 2018 for her massive Reputation Stadium Tour , which saw Swift accompanied by the likes of Charli XCX and Camila Cabello across the United States, the United Kingdom, along with Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The tour was the highest-grossing music tour by a female artist that year.

Since her last tour, Swift has released four albums and two re-releases: Lover , Folklore , Evermore , Midnights , and Taylor’s Version editions of Fearless and Red with additional songs. In total, she’s dropped 90 tracks of new material, not including collaborations with the likes of Haim and Big Red Machine.

Fans have long wondered what music she’ll be performing on the road, with some theorizing that she’d host a residency in Las Vegas or a music festival where she’d perform different “eras” on different nights.

Along with packing her setlist with songs from Reputation in 2018, she surprised each city with an acoustic rendition of fan favorites like “Red,” “Holy Ground,” and “Wildest Dreams.” At select shows, she also brought out special guests. Shawn Mendes, Selena Gomez, Hayley Kiyoko, and Maren Morris were among the artists to be brought out by Swift.

The stadium tour was accompanied by a concert film released on New Year’s Eve that year.

She previously took her 1989 album on the road for 85 dates, where she was accompanied by the likes of Mendes, James Bay, Vance Joy, and Haim. Before then was The Red Tour in 2013 and 2014, and her Speak Now World Tour from 2011 to 2012.

The complete guide to FedEx Field

The Washington Commanders’ new ownership group, led by Josh Harris, is in the market for a new stadium , but FedEx Field, which opened as Jack Kent Cooke Stadium in 1997, will remain the team’s home for at least the next few years. Ahead of the 2023 season, the Commanders announced a much-needed $40 million investment to spruce up the roughly 65,000-seat venue in Landover, which has long been considered the worst in the NFL . Whether you’re returning to the stadium for the first time in years or planning your first trip, here’s a guide to make the most of your experience until the Commanders find a new home — wherever and whenever that may be.

Getting there

The cheapest way to get to FedEx Field is taking Metro’s Blue or Silver lines to Morgan Boulevard . From there, it’s about a mile walk past townhouses and apartments to the stadium, which is surrounded by parking lots. For night games, check out Metro’s trip-planning tool for information about when the last trains depart.

Parking passes may be purchased directly from the team or on secondary ticket market sites such as StubHub or SeatGeek. Each lot has a designated entrance. Fans wishing to tailgate are encouraged to use the RedZone Lot, which features wide parking spaces and opens one hour earlier than other lots. If you drive, allow plenty of time (read: more than you think) to get to the stadium and get home, as traffic on game days is often a nightmare. See here for more information about parking at FedEx Field. And here is everything you need to know about tailgating .

Ride-hailing services

Using Uber or Lyft is a potentially expensive option to get to a game. There’s a dedicated area for drop-offs and pickups in the RedZone Lot near Gate A. Fares often surge exponentially after games, when thousands of people request cars at the same time. (See this map for information about the ride-share lot.)

The Commanders follow the NFL’s restrictive leaguewide bag policy. Small clutch bags not exceeding 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches, with or without a handle or strap, are permitted, as are one-gallon plastic freezer bags and clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items.

Prohibited bags include purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size. Seat cushions with pockets, zippers, compartments or covers are also prohibited. More information about the bag policy is available on the Commanders’ website .

Gate information

All seats are accessible via all gates. Most gates open two hours before kickoff, but Gates F and G, which provide access to Legends Plaza, open three hours before kickoff. Located just outside the main concourse at the east end of the stadium, Legends Plaza is an excellent alternative for fans who want to arrive early without tailgating. The large open space features picnic tables, a tent with additional seating, a rotating selection of food trucks and a stage for pregame programming, including live music.

Stop by Legends Plaza before a game and you’re apt to see Washington football legends mingling with fans; team sponsor activities, including games and giveaways; Commanders mascot Major Tuddy; and the Commanders marching band. After entering Legends Plaza, you can wander to the portion of the concourse overlooking the east end zone, check out the Sean Taylor memorial and watch player warm-ups. Domestic beers in Legends Plaza this season will be available for $6.75 until kickoff.

What you’re allowed to bring into FedEx Field

Unlike at Nationals Park , outside food and beverages, including sealed water bottles, may not be brought into FedEx Field. Other prohibited items include audio and video recording equipment, cameras with detachable lenses greater than five inches, folding chairs, laser pointers, and Native American-inspired ceremonial headdresses or face paint.

Best food and concessions

FedEx Field has introduced several new food vendors for the 2023 season. Check out Tim Carman’s guide to some of the best concessions.

Where to get a drink

The beer sellers in the stands have competition this season: FedEx Field is following Nationals Park in introducing grab-and-go convenience stands around the concourse, which allow fans to pick oversize cans of Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Truly Hard Seltzer and other beverages from a refrigerated case before placing them on a self-checkout scanner. Just tap your credit card and go.

Splashy new additions to the club level come courtesy of a partnership with Sire Spirits, the drinks company owned by 50 Cent. Its Branson Cognac is now the team’s official cognac, and Le Chemin du Roi is the official champagne. The club level lounge has been rebranded the Branson Lounge and Gallery, and there’s a stand-alone 50 Yard Branson Bar on the club level concourse.

During 2023 preseason games, neither had a cocktail menu — bartenders explained that they would be happy to make drinks from the shelves behind them, which included Branson and well-known brands such as Casamigos, Tito’s and Jack Daniels. (A “premium cocktail” costs $15.) Other additions to stands include wines from McBride Sisters, the country’s largest Black-owned wine brand.

As mentioned above, domestic beers in Legends Plaza will be available for $6.75 until kickoff this season.

The best seats on the seating chart

It’s a matter of preference — do you want to be close to the action, or a bit higher up? — but excellent views of the field are available at a variety of price points throughout the stadium. Prices can vary greatly by section and game, so it’s best to compare prices on secondary ticket market sites. Here’s a look at some of your seating options.

Lower level

Dream Seats

You can’t get any closer to the action than the field-level Dream Seats that run the length of both sidelines. The padded seats come with complimentary food and nonalcoholic beverages and access to the club level. Expect to pay at least $400 on the secondary market for a single Dream Seat ticket.

Section 101

You’ll be close to the 50-yard line on Washington’s side of the field, with easy access to the main concourse and a great view of all the action. Section 121 provides a similar view from the opposite side of the field, in case you’re in the mood to heckle the opposition. For day games, especially when temperatures are warmer earlier this season, note that you’re more likely to find shade on the home side of the stadium.

Section 132

Bring a sign (provided it’s in good taste and nonpolitical) to make it easier for your friends to spot you on TV in this section beyond the east end zone. The concourse behind this section leads to Legends Plaza.

Section 215

The corner sections at FedEx Field provide good views at slightly lower prices than a seat between the 30- and 50-yard lines will generally cost you. Be aware that some seats in these sections, especially in higher-numbered rows, feature limited or mostly obstructed views. Check out the indispensable AViewFromMySeat.com before purchasing tickets.

Section 242

Here’s another midfield view from a higher vantage point that offers easy access to the main concourse. The price for a 200-level seat is often on par with its 100-level equivalent.

Pepsi Fan District

Located behind the west end zone, this space features a huge wraparound bar offering beer, spirits and Pepsi products, and roughly a dozen high-top tables. It also features limited room to stand and watch the game while overlooking the lower-level sections behind the end zone. The coveted space closest to the field, along a rail on which you can place food and drinks, is first come, first served. Be aware that even the tallest fan won’t have a clear view of the back of the end zone from here, but it’s a good spot to socialize while still paying at least some attention to the game.

The Joe Gibbs Club Level features all kinds of amenities, including air conditioning, which is probably a lot more noticeable to a reporter trekking around the stadium during a late-August preseason contest than it will be to fans at most home games this fall. Admission to the club level’s various bars, lounges and concession stands requires a club level ticket. For fans who want a break from the elements or just want to grab a bite to eat, there are comfortable chairs to watch the Commanders game inside or keep tabs on other teams throughout the league.

Section 301

This is the midfield club level view, and there’s a lot to like about it.

Upper level

The upper level is a hike if you take the ramp, but a short ride via escalator or elevator, and offers some of the stadium’s best views.

Section 409

In addition to having a great view of the field, a seat in Section 409 puts you close to the Commanders marching band, which sits above the scoreboard in the west end zone.

Section 440

The upper-level end zone view provides an excellent vantage point from which to watch plays develop at both ends of the field.

Where to make a bet

Opened in January, the Fanatics Sportsbook was the first retail sportsbook located inside an NFL stadium. (The sportsbooks at State Farm Stadium in Arizona and MetLife Stadium in New Jersey are outside the actual stadiums.) The 5,000-square-foot space has an airy, airport lounge vibe, with low, boxy leather couches and armchairs; sports playing on more than three dozen large screens; a full bar with cocktail and food menus; oh, and a line of 21 betting terminals, with odds flashing on screens overhead.

The sportsbook is adjacent to the team store on the main concourse, across from Sections 141-142, and opens at 11 a.m. Sundays for ticket holders 21 and older. You don’t have to place a wager to be admitted, so some fans might use the climate-controlled bar as a place to escape the heat or cold.

Of note: This is one of the few spots in the stadium with pints of beer for $7, including local crafts from Calvert Brewing.

Going with kids

Children under age 3 get in free with a lap pass, which is available at all gates. Wrist bands on which you can write contact and seat information in the event your child gets separated from you during the game are available at all guest services locations (Sections 104, 124, 304, 324, 404 and 431). Family restrooms with baby-changing stations are located in the elevator towers at Gate A and Gate E on all levels. There’s a room for nursing mothers to feed or pump in Suite 128 on the upper level. Passes to the mother’s room, along with directions, are available at all guest services locations.

The main team store is located across from Sections 141-142 on the main concourse. It features a wide selection of T-shirts, jerseys, hats, accessories and collectibles. Smaller stores and stands selling Commanders merchandise can be found throughout the stadium.

Accessibility information

Accessible seating and parking are available. To request accessibility assistance, fans may email [email protected] or call 301-276-6050. Assisted listening devices are available at guest services locations, and closed captioning for all in-stadium announcements is displayed on the ribbon boards on both sides of the field. More information about FedEx Field’s accessibility is available here .

Other essential information

  • The FedEx Field section of the Commanders app features a searchable virtual map of concessions, gates and amenities.
  • Self-service ticket scanning pedestals have been added to the team’s four main gates in an effort to expedite entry into the stadium.
  • A limited number of standing-room-only tickets are available through the team for certain games, providing one of the cheapest ways into the stadium. Fans with standing-room-only tickets can try to grab a spot on the main concourse overlooking either end zone, or head for the more spacious standing-room-only decks above Sections 410-418 and 437-445 in the upper level.
  • Portable phone chargers are available for a nominal fee at charging stations outside all guest services locations.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the seating bowls, main concourse, Legends Plaza, portals, tunnels, Gate A ramp or restrooms of FedEx Field. Smoking is permitted on outside ramps and the exterior of the upper concourse, as well as the smoking decks located outside the club level at E Tower.
  • Fans are encouraged to be in their seats 20 minutes before kickoff for a reimagined pregame presentation.

5 Things To Know Before Seeing Taylor Swift At “The Eras Tour”

eras tour fedex field

Taylor Swift is touring for the first time since 2018 and has released four studio albums — Lover, Folklore, Evermore and Midnights — in the five years that followed her Reputation Stadium Tour. Swift announced The Eras Tour on Nov. 1, 2022, just weeks following the announcement of Midnights, her tenth studio album.

The timing of the announcements led some to believe that The Eras Tour would essentially become a Midnights-centric tour, but that wasn’t the case. Swift opened the tour on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona with a 44-track set list that spanned much of her discography to date.

Since a showing of The Eras Tour is a long concert bringing unprecedented fan turnout, you’ll have to consider different things than other concerts when preparing to see Swift on tour.

Wear Comfortable Shoes

The Eras Tour can extend beyond five hours in length when you consider openers, intermissions and Swift’s lengthy performance. Though exact total times will vary based on the openers and final set list at each venue, Swift’s typical set list runs roughly three hours and 13 minutes.

At the March 17 show in Glendale, fans remained on their feet for the entirety of the show, and other showings to date have displayed the same fan involvement. That’ll mean attendees will need to stand up to catch a glimpse of Swift for hours straight, most likely standing on concrete stadiums. To stay comfortable and avoid missing out, wear running shoes, quality sneakers or other sturdy shoes to the concert.

Don’t Stand In Line For The Merch Truck

The Eras Tour has brought incredible demand for tour merchandise, and some items have sold out at showings within minutes of gates opening. Though some merchandise items are available on Swift’s online store , others — like the highly-sought blue crewneck — are exclusive to the tour.

Gates typically open for 6:30 p.m. showings two hours before the scheduled start times. A large merchandise truck usually opens at noon, with lines forming even before that. Though people have suggested standing in line for the merch truck hours before entering the venue, that isn’t the best way to be successful.

Instead, wait in line after passing through the security checkpoint in front of the stadium’s gates. There are a multitude of merchandise stands inside the venue that have stock of all the most popular merchandise items. Waiting in front of the stadium gates will allow you to be the first to enter the venue, all but guaranteeing access to merchandise.

However, keep in mind that not all merchandise stands have the same items available. Be sure to glance at the red tapestry showcasing available items before getting in line to wait.

Bring Earplugs. Seriously.

A ton of people have suggested that concert-goers wear protective earplugs to The Eras Tour shows, and it’s easy to dismiss the idea. Of course, after paying hundreds of dollars to see Swift, attendees want to make sure they are enjoying the atmosphere to the fullest.

Regardless, people going to The Eras Tour should seriously consider wearing earplugs to the concert. It’s not necessarily to protect the wearer’s ears from the sound of Swift’s music — that sound level is about the same as other stadium concerts.

But not many other concerts have more than 70,000 people scream-singing lyrics at the top of their lungs for hours straight. Ever experienced ear pain because someone was screaming in your ear? That’s essentially what The Eras Tour can be, at times.

And yes, you’ll still be able to hear all of Swift’s stunning vocals while wearing ear protection.

Make A Clear Bag Plan Before You Go

Most people attending The Eras Tour will be going to stadiums near their home, and may have attended those venues previously. However, Swift has enacted her own bag policies that may differ from the stadium’s typical policies.

Generally, The Eras Tour has a stringent bag policy that requires all bags to be clear and not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” dimensions. A detailed list of prohibited items for Swift’s showing at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan can be found here , but check with your venue for the exact policy.

To make sure your items are in compliance, make a plan before leaving to ensure nothing gets thrown away at the security checkpoint. It’s important to purchase a clear bag in advance, because prices will be higher at and around the stadium on the day of the showing.

Ready Your Smartphone

The length of Eras Tour shows poses another problem, this time for your phone. Since the concert is upwards of five hours long — and attendees might have to travel before and after with their device — battery is a concern. To combat this, make sure phones are fully charged, low power mode is enabled and brightness is down when possible.

Consider purchasing a portable charger for the event and remember to bring the right cables for your device. This could extend a phone’s life by hours, depending on the portable charger.

For people that plan to record a lot of photos and videos of the concert, check how much storage is left on your smartphone. A photo can take up as many as 25 megabytes of storage, with videos taking up gigabytes of space based on their length. To free up space, upload media to the cloud, save it to a computer or delete unnecessary apps for the time being.

If you’re really in a pinch for space, Android users can utilize expanded storage with a microSD card or a USB-C flash drive. For iPhone users, the Sandisk iXpand flash drive can add up to 256 gigabytes of extra storage.

Enjoy The Show

After fighting tooth-and-nail for concert tickets, you’ve gotten the chance to see The Eras Tour, so follow these tips for the best experience.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Concert Film: How to Watch and What to Know

The flick promises new acoustic performances and previously deleted songs from Swift's other versions of the film.

eras tour fedex field

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert film has officially landed on Disney Plus. In anticipation of the Thursday night release, Swift had dropped an early preview of her new performance of Cardigan and announced the names of the other new acoustic performances leading up to the release.

In celebration of the release, Disney Plus' home page has gotten a very Taylor Swift makeover. As of Friday afternoon, Disney Plus has curated nine categories based on Swifts' eras (notably, the singer's debut era was left out). For example, one of the brand new categories is Reputation (Disney's Version) and features the films Cruella, Avengers Endgame and The Empire Strikes Back.

The first version of the Eras Tour movie hit theaters late last year, and became the  highest-grossing concert film  ever, as reported by Variety. Then it was available to rent on demand. Now Disney Plus' version of the film promises new performances, and says goodbye to some fan favorites.

Are you ready for it ? If not, we've got you covered. Here's everything we know about the new concert film, how to watch Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version), and why a VPN might be a useful tool for streaming.

Read more:   Watch Taylor Swift's Exclusive Eras Tour Clip a Day Early on Apple's App Store

What's new in the Disney Plus version of the film?

Disney Plus' version of the flick will feature Swift's performance of Cardigan, which was previously cut from the theatrical release of the movie, and four additional acoustic songs. You can check out a preview of the Cardigan performance here , in an exclusive early clip on Apple's App Store. Swift had also released the names of the four new acoustic performances leading up to Thursday's release on ABC's  Good Morning America (also owned by Disney). Now that the film has officially dropped, we know that the four acoustic songs featured in the Disney Plus version of the film are I Can See You, Death By A Thousand Cuts, You Are in Love and Maroon (which is accompanied by another performance of You're On Your Own Kid). It's important to note that these songs are included at the end of the film, after the credits.

Swift  recorded  six acoustic songs during filming in August, and the performances of Our Song and You're on Your Own, Kid made both the theatrical and on-demand rental versions of the film. Now, all six performances have found their way into the concert flick, which is an extra treat for super fans like ourselves.

Songs excluded from the Disney Plus cut of the movie include Long Live, The Archer, Wildest Dreams and No Body, No Crime.

The Eras Tour concert film hits streaming on March 14.

Disney Plus is already home to another Swift exclusive,  Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions , a series that chronicles the making of her 2020 album Folklore. Swift's other documentaries and concert films have been available sporadically on various streaming services, including  Netflix  and Prime Video.

Release time for the Eras Tour film in the US and abroad

The film will land on Disney Plus on Thursday, March 14 at 6 p.m. PT (9 p.m. ET)  in all territories except Turkey, where it will be released on April 3. Swift announced that the film would be available earlier on Monday, along with a new trailer.

Pricing for Disney Plus starts at $8 per month in the US, but if you live in Canada, the platform costs CA$12 a month. UK fans can get the service for either £5 with ads, or £8 a month without ads. You can subscribe for a year and save 16%. In Australia, fans get Disney Plus for AU$14 per month.

Perhaps you're traveling abroad and want to stream The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) while away from home. With a VPN, you're able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the movie from anywhere in the world. There are other good reasons to use a VPN for streaming, too.

A VPN is the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds by encrypting your traffic. Using a VPN is also a great idea if you're traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins. Streaming TV can be a bit smoother with a reliable, quality VPN that's passed our tests and security standards.

You can use a VPN to stream content legally as long as VPNs are legal in your country and you have a valid subscription to the streaming service you're using. The US and Canada are among the countries where VPNs are legal, but we advise against streaming or downloading content on illegal torrent sites. We recommend ExpressVPN, but you may opt for another provider from our best list such as Surfshark or NordVPN .

If you want to stream The Eras Tour film on more than one device, you may need to configure each one to ensure you are signed in. Go to settings and check your network connections to verify you're logged in and connected to your VPN account. Now you're ready to open Disney Plus to stream.

If you run into issues with streaming, first make sure your VPN is up and running on its encrypted IP address. Double-check that you've followed installation instructions correctly and you've picked the right geographical area for viewing. If you still encounter connection problems, you may need to reboot your device. Close all apps and windows, restart your device and connect to your VPN first. Note that some streaming services have restrictions on VPN access.

Correction, Feb. 9 : An earlier version of this story misstated the number of Taylor Swift's studio albums. The Tortured Poets Department, set for release in April, will be her 11th studio album.

During a Friday night appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon , Keys, 43, described what it was like to raise a Swiftie in her and Swizz Beatz 's youngest son.

As she explained, the 9-year-old first met Swift when he was younger at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards, as he was seated next to the musician. In a video shared by host Jimmy Fallon , Genesis could be seen playfully waving at the 34-year-old "Karma" singer while his mom was on stage giving a speech.

"He was flirting. ... I was pouring my heart out about all my thank you's, and he's [waving at Swift]," Keys joked.

Keys then mentioned a time when Genesis got to hang out with Swift during an Eras Tour stop in August 2023. At the time, Keys applauded Swift on Instagram for her "big beautiful spirit that makes everyone feel loved."

"They met up again recently, and he was like, 'Is she gonna remember me?' And it was a whole thing," Keys said on The Tonight Show . "He was like, 'She knew me since I was three, right, mom?' "

The encounter went smoothly, as Keys shared behind-the-scenes footage of Genesis getting both a kiss on the cheek and a touching note from his idol.

Genesis' fandom extends beyond Swift, too, as he's also a big fan of Billie Eilish , Keys revealed on The Tonight Show. Keys said Genesis even attempted to convince his mom to let him leave her a voice message at one point.

"He just asked me every single day, 'Mom can I please leave her a voice message?' And I'm like, 'I don't know.' Like, what kind of voice message are you gonna leave her? He was like, 'I'm just gonna say, like, ... I would like to be friends and I really like her music.' And so he leaves her this whole message after harassing me for days and days on end," Keys laughed. "And then he continued to harass me [about] if she wrote him a message back."

"And so every night I couldn't go to sleep, he wakes me up in the morning," she added. "In the nighttime, he won't go to sleep. 'Did she write me? Did she write me? Did she write me? Did she leave me a message?' She left him a message. Can you believe it? It was so sweet. ... Big love to Billie and Taylor."

While Eilish's message to Genesis wasn't shared on air, Swift's message to Genesis during his August Eras Tour visit took him by surprise. In a handwritten note, Swift wrote that she was "so excited" when she found out he was attending the show, and referred to him as her "friend."

"I hope you have so much fun at the show," Swift wrote. "And I'll be waving at you. Love, Taylor."

In response, Genesis shared a message of his own for Swift via his mom's social media: "I loved your show and I'm happy that I got to meet you again."
