Flying with Pets in the Cabin on Frontier Airlines

In some ways, flying with a pet in the cabin on Frontier is like other airline policies. The pet travel fee is lower with Frontier than it is with most airlines, and while the airline maintains a high standard for safe and responsible pet travel, it’s not going to bend over backward breaking its own policies trying to accommodate specific passengers and their pets.

Put another way, if you already know your pet does with air travel and a Frontier itinerary makes sense for your travels, there’s no reason not to fly with your pet on Frontier. If, on the other hand, you’re not sure whether it’s wise to travel with your pet in the cabin, you may want to consider an airline that permits other pet travel options.

Here are the important details to know when flying with a pet in the cabin on Frontier Airlines.

What animals are allowed on Frontier Airlines? Domesticated dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, small household birds. No reptiles or arachnids.

How many animals  can  fly in the cabin? It depends on the flight. Reservations are limited, but unlike most airlines, Frontier does not have a set number of carry-on reservations per flight.

Can pets fly internationally on Frontier Airlines? Pets are only allowed on international flights to and from Dominican Republic & Mexico as of this writing.

What pet travel forms are needed? Health certificates are not required by Frontier Airlines for pets traveling in the cabin, but they may be by the destination.  APHIS Form 7001  should fulfill most health certificate documentation requirements, but some countries have additional requirements.

Can I travel with my dog on my lap? Exceptions are made for service dogs and emotional support animals, but if it’s just your pet, then no. Your pet must remain in its carrier for the duration of the flight.

Are there seat restrictions? You will not be permitted to sit in the first row or in an exit row. There may be other seats that cannot accommodate your pet container, but Frontier will work with you to get a seat assignment with space.

How to Make a Booking for Carry-On Pets with Frontier Airlines

Frontier Airlines not provide a standard number of reservations per flight. It depends on the size of the plane. For this reason, it’s extra important you book the reservation early and verify that there’s a spot for your pet before finalizing your own travel plans. Nevertheless, if you’re considering flying with other airlines as well, you can book a reservation through an online vendor with a 24-hour free cancellation policy. Then, you can call the airline to add your pet to the itinerary. For more information or to make a reservation with Frontier Airlines, call (801) 401-9000.

More FAQ Information  for Pets in the Cabin

How do pet fares affect other add-on flight costs? Remember that Frontier charges you for everything so be aware that your pet carrier is going to take up one of the items you can bring on the flight. You’ll be able to bring an additional personal item or carry on, but not both.

What are the care recommendations for flying with a pet in the cabin? Frontier recommends that you do not give your pet tranquilizers. While you should give your pet plenty of food of few hours before flying and water up until boarding time, Frontier recommends that you do not feed or provide water during flight. The airline also suggests using a soft-sided carrier that can partially collapse under the seat and giving your furry friend a little more room.

What are the extra international requirements for pet travel? Frontier flies internationally to Canada, Cuba, Jamaica, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. Mexico and the Dominican Republic require a statement on the health certificate that the pet is free from parasites and has been treated for parasite prevention.

Should  Frontier Airline pet policy  permit travel to its other international destinations, know that Puerto Rico requires a sturdy collar and two identification tags. (The tags should include both your permanent address and telephone number, along with an address and telephone number where you can be reached while traveling.) All dogs and cats being transported to and from Canada are required to have both a rabies vaccination and a health certificate.

Simple Flying

Explained: frontier airlines' pet policy.

The US-based low-cost-carrier allows cats, dogs, and a few other animals onboard. Here's what you need to watch out for.

  • Frontier Airlines allows domestic dogs, cats, and some other small household animals to travel in the aircraft cabin.
  • The pet container must be no bigger than 18" x 14" x 8" and fit under the seat in front of you.
  • Frontier charges $99 each way for traveling with a pet, plus additional fees for the pet carrier as excess baggage.

When Frontier Airlines suggests that "The Sky is for Everyone," one might not be tempted to infer that they allow for any animal or pet onboard. After all, it expresses its pledges to make flights accessible through its ultra-low-cost schemes, enabling a larger share of the population to travel than ever before. Fortunately, the US-based carrier does permit animals in the cabin, but there are fees you'll have to watch out for when bringing your pet onboard.

Bringing a pet onboard

With the exorbitant costs of flying in general, taking to the skies with domesticated animals would have been unthinkable during the golden age of travel. The introduction of the Sherpa Bag by Gayle Martin in 1989, when air travel was just becoming more accessible, allowed travelers to keep pets near them while traveling in an aircraft . And with a flurry of petitions asking for airlines to loosen their regulations on having pets came the requirements for proper vaccinations before allowing animals to get onboard, pet passports, regulations regarding crates and holders, etc.

Flying with pets on Frontier Airlines

Frontier allows pets not only on all domestic Frontier flights but also on international flights from/to Mexico and the Dominican Republic. During their travels, pets will not be checked in as baggage.

Types of animals allowed in its cabin

Although some animals, such as rats, squirrels, ferrets, tigers, as well as all sorts of amphibians, reptiles, birds, and other mammals, can sometimes qualify as Emitonal Support Animals (ESA) or can be kept as pets by some individuals, Frontier barrs such animals from its cabin. The same is true of spiders and insects.

Domesticated dogs and cats - both of which need to be a minimum of 8 weeks of age - can travel on Frontier, even internationally. Within the United States, though, Frontier does invite other fairly common household animals, such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and small birds, to climb onboard for a flight.

Rules regarding pet containers

As with any other airline, Frontier dictates that the travel container of a pet must be commodious enough that the pet can lie down, turn around, and stand naturally. Frontier mandates that the pet container should be no bigger than 18" in length, 14" in width, and 8" in height and should fit underneath the seat in front of you. The pet should be inside the container, which is recommended to be soft-sided.

If certain seats cannot accommodate someone's pet container, the airline will ensure a proper seat assignment with space.

Cost of bringing a pet onboard a Frontier Airlines flight

At a minimum, Frontier Airlines charges $99 each way for traveling with your pet. However, there might be other expenses as well. You will need to deal with additional charges for the pet carrier as it is not a part of the carry-on baggage limitation and, therefore, will be levied as excess baggage. Transportation (charges) for your pet can be booked online or paid while checking in.

Other considerations while flying with pets

Various states within the US might have different regulations on whether you need to present a pet health certificate upon arrival. The same is true when you are traveling internationally. Crossing borders with your pet also may necessitate vaccination against rabies (with the recommendation of vaccines against hepatitis, leptospirosis, and other diseases, depending upon the nation), as well as a pet passport.

During the 70s and 80s, tranquilizing animals during their air travel was a norm, but this is not a recommended practice now as it does more harm to the animals than good. It is also advisable that a pet is fed 4 hours before the scheduled flight to minimize the chances of it having an upset stomach during transit.

If the aircraft depressurizes, your pet won't have the facility of an oxygen mask. However, rest assured that pilots are trained in any such case to lower the aircraft's altitude promptly to balance the air pressure and allow every person and pet to breathe normally.

Specifications and Requirements for Pet Carriers

According to Frontier Airlines pet policy, your pet must be able to stand up and move around comfortably inside its soft-sided or hard-sided pet carrier. Your pet carriers should not exceed 18″ L x 14″ W x 8″ H (45 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm) in size and the combined weight of your pet and its carrier must be no more than 20 pounds (9 kg). Additionally:

  • The combined weight of your pet and its carrier should not exceed 20 pounds (9 kg).
  • The container must be waterproof, airy and fit beneath the seat before you.
  • Carriers with wheels are prohibited as carry-on baggage.

Seating Restrictions and Considerations

No animals are allowed to occupy a traveler’s lap while on the plane. You’ll need to place your pet container under the seat in front of you throughout the journey. Frontier Airlines does not permit pets in row one or any exit rows due to safety regulations. It is essential to book a suitable seat when making your reservation for an easy travel experience.

Fees Associated with In-Cabin Pet Travel

Frontier Airlines charges $99 per pet container each way for domestic flights within the U.S., Mexico, or Dominican Republic. This fee applies whether you’re traveling with multiple pets inside one container or have separate containers for each animal. Make sure to add pets to your existing booking by contacting Frontier’s customer service at least 48 hours before departure time.

Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals on Frontier Airlines

When flying with Frontier Airlines, it’s crucial to understand the difference between service animals and emotional support animals. Both are allowed on flights, but they have different requirements for documentation, seating, and behavior.

Service Animals vs. Emotional Support Animals

Service animals , like trained service dogs, perform specific tasks related to a person’s disability. Emotional support animals (ESAs) provide comfort or companionship but do not perform any task related to a disability.

Documentation Requirements

  • Service Animal: Passengers traveling with a trained service animal must submit the completed U.S DOT Service Animal Air Transportation Form at least 48 hours before their flight departure time.
  • Emotional Support Animal: Starting from March 1st, 2023, ESAs are no longer considered service animals by DOT and won’t be accepted onboard except small household birds which will now fall under pet policy guidelines requiring additional fees and restrictions applied by Frontier Airlines.

Sitting Considerations for Service/Emotional Support Animals

Service animals may be situated on the passenger’s lap or at their feet, provided they are of a size that allows. However, they must not obstruct aisles or emergency exits. Emotional support animals that meet the pet policy requirements can travel in a pet container under the seat in front of you.

Behavior Expectations

All service and emotional support animals should be well-behaved during Frontier Airlines flights. They must not display aggressive behavior, excessive barking, or cause damage to property. If an animal exhibits disruptive behavior, it may result in removal from the flight.

Remember to check government regulations and any additional airline-specific policies before booking your trip. This will ensure a smooth journey for both you and your assistance animal.

International Pet Travel with Frontier Airlines

Are you planning to travel internationally with your furry friend on Frontier Airlines? To ensure a successful journey, it is important to familiarize yourself with the international pet travel regulations of both departure and destination countries.

Understanding International Pet Travel Regulations

Before you book your flight, research the government regulations of both the departure and destination countries. Each nation has its own rules for bringing in animals, which can involve particular inoculations, medical records or even microchipping.

Preparing for International Pet Travel

  • Vaccinations: Make sure your pet is up-to-date on all necessary vaccinations as per the destination country’s requirements. Some countries may require additional vaccines not typically administered during routine vet visits.
  • Pet Health Certificate: Obtain a valid health certificate issued by an accredited veterinarian within ten days before flight departure. This document certifies that your pet is healthy enough to travel and meets any specific entry requirements for the destination country.
  • Paperwork: Make copies of all relevant documentation (vaccination records, health certificates) to present at check-in and customs upon arrival in the foreign country.
  • Airline Requirements: Check Frontier Airlines’ website for their latest guidelines related to international flights involving pets; this includes carrier specifications, fees associated with transporting animals in-cabin or checked baggage areas & other important details.

Country-Specific Entry Requirements

Different countries have unique entry requirements for pets, which may include additional vaccinations, microchipping, or even quarantine periods upon arrival. It is crucial to research these regulations well in advance of your trip and ensure that you have all necessary documentation ready before departure. The USDA APHIS website provides country-specific information on pet importation rules.

Quarantine Policies & Procedures

In some cases, countries may require incoming pets to undergo a mandatory quarantine period as part of their biosecurity measures. Quarantine durations can vary from several days to weeks depending on the destination country’s policies. Be prepared for this possibility by researching specific guidelines beforehand & making appropriate arrangements if needed (such as reserving space at an approved quarantine facility).

Frontier Airlines' pet policy: Here’s how to fly with your pet on Frontier

Dog with an indifferent attitude on the side of a travel bag

Are you looking to take an animal besides a pet dog or cat with you on your next vacation? If so, you are in luck: Frontier Airlines allows more types of pets to fly in the cabin than many other airlines.

The Frontier pet policy extends to domesticated dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and even small household birds. But before you take your pet to the airport, there's some important information you'll want to be aware of so your furry or feathery family member is allowed on the airplane with you.

Here's everything you need to know when flying with your pet on Frontier Airlines.

Frontier Airlines' pet policy

pet travel with frontier

According to the Frontier pet policy, you can bring domesticated dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters or small household birds in the cabin when flying within the United States. All dogs and cats must be at least 8 weeks old to fly.

Unfortunately, Frontier Airlines doesn't allow other types of pets to fly. In particular, you can't bring large birds (including parrots, macaws, cockatoos and birds of prey), rodents, beavers, ferrets, reptiles, amphibians, spiders and insects with you when flying Frontier.

And the Frontier Airlines pet policy no longer allows transporting any pets as cargo. So, the only way to bring a pet with you on Frontier is in the cabin in a pet carrier. If you're flying with a larger pet, you'll need to consider a different airline.

For domestic travel, Frontier Airlines doesn't require a health certificate. But you'll want to check with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to see if your destination state requires specific documentation.

pet travel with frontier

For those looking to fly internationally with their pet, Frontier only allows cats and dogs to fly internationally. And currently, the only international destinations you can fly Frontier to or from with your pet are the Dominican Republic and Mexico. For these flights, you'll need a health certificate for your pet. You'll also want to check with the particular country to see if there are any vaccination requirements in addition to those listed on the Frontier website . As of writing, you'll need a health certificate dated within a certain number of days for travel to or from these destinations:

  • Within 30 days of entry into Puerto Rico.
  • Within 10 days of entry into the U.S.
  • Within 15 days of entry into the Dominican Republic.
  • Within five days of entry into Mexico.

When flying with an approved pet on Frontier, you may not sit in Row 1 or an exit row. All pets must remain in their pet carrier at all times, even if your pet is getting restless. Frontier Airlines also requests that your pet is not fed any food or water while on the aircraft. Pets must remain harmless and odorless. And, your pet shouldn't be disruptive or require any extra attention on board.

But, the Frontier pet policy states that pet carriers must be no larger than 18 inches long by 14 inches wide by 8 inches tall. If your pet carrier fits within these dimensions, but you happen to be seated in a seat that can't fit the pet carrier, Frontier will assign you a new seat that will fit your pet.

If you want to bring your pet on board Frontier, the pet must be able to stand, turn around and lie down in a natural position while in the pet carrier. So, make sure to consider this when choosing an onboard pet carrier . And although not a requirement, Frontier recommends a soft-sided carrier.

Under Frontier's baggage policy , you can bring either another personal item or a full-size carry-on bag in addition to a pet carrier. But, as always, Frontier will charge a fee if you bring a carry-on bag.

Bottom line

Bringing a pet aboard a Frontier flight extends to more than just cats and dogs. Passengers can bring various types of pets with them on board, although the main requirement is that the pet can fit into an approved pet carrier. As such, the Frontier dog policy prohibits large dogs due to their inability to fit comfortably into a carrier of the appropriate size.

Before you book a Frontier flight for your next vacation, you'll want to consider the pets you can — and cannot — bring with you on board.

The pet container must be large enough for your pet to turn around, stand, and lie down in a natural position and must fit underneath the seat in front of you. No more worrying about who’s going to sit beside you on the airplane.

Frontier Airlines has introduced a new seating option with a guaranteed empty middle seat so passengers sitting by the window or aisle have more personal space.

“Frontier is all about choice and giving consumers the flexibility to customize their travel to suit their individual needs and preferences,” Frontier Airlines CEO Barry Biffle said in a statement. “UpFront Plus is a great option for those who want expanded personal space and extra comfort.”

Here’s what travelers should know about the new UpFront Plus seats.

This airport had the most delays: The best, worst airports for spring break travel

What do UpFront Plus seats include?

In addition to blocking off middle seats, Frontier says, passengers in UpFront Plus seats will get more legroom, elbow room and comfort. They’ll also be the first to receive in-flight service and among the first to exit the plane upon arrival.

When will UpFront Plus be available?

Sales began this week, but UpFront Plus Seats won’t be available on flights until April 10.

How much do UpFront Plus seats cost?

Introductory prices start at $49 per person each way for travel between April 10 through April 30. Travelers must book by March 20 for special pricing. Seating is limited and restrictions apply.

After the introductory period, a Frontier spokesperson told USA TODAY, pricing for UpFront Plus seats will be based on demand.

For reference, airfare for a nonstop flight from Atlanta to Orlando, Florida, on May 1 starts at just under $24 for standard unassigned seating on Frontier’s website, while UpFront Plus seats cost $150.

Where are UpFront Plus seats located?

UpFront Plus seats will be in the first two rows of Frontier aircraft.

How to book UpFront Plus seats

After selecting the flight you want on Frontier’s website or app, you can pick various a la carte or bundled add-ons, including advance seat assignment, which costs extra on Frontier. This is when you can choose an UpFront Plus seat.

Viggo Mortensen Directs and Stars in First Trailer for Ruthless Western The Dead Don't Hurt (Exclusive)

‘The Dead Don’t Hurt’ is set in “the wild landscapes and lawless society of the Far West in the 1860s,” says Viggo Mortensen

Viggo Mortensen is putting his spin on the American Western with his new movie.

The Dead Don’t Hurt features the star as actor, writer and director. PEOPLE has the exclusive first look at the trailer, which offers glimpses of this 1860s-set tale of star-crossed lovers, corrupt lawmen, violent outlaws and revenge.

Vicky Krieps ( Phantom Thread ) leads the cast, which also includes Solly McLeod, Garret Dillahunt, Colin Morgan, Ray McKinnon, W. Earl Brown, Atlas Green and Danny Huston.

Mortensen, 65, calls The Dead Don’t Hurt a "dramatic and emotionally engaging story about a uniquely independent woman on the western frontier, and her relationship to the headstrong man she chooses to share her life with.”

Marcel Zyskind

The director tells PEOPLE, “My hope is that audiences will feel they are stepping back in time to the wild landscapes and lawless society of the Far West in the 1860s, and that they’ll be entertained by a movie in the tradition of the best classic Westerns.”

Krieps plays Vivienne Le Coudy, a woman who joins Mortensen’s Holger Olsen, a Danish immigrant living in a remote town in Nevada. After he leaves to fight for the Union in the American Civil War, Vivienne must fend off violent neighbors — “an unforgiving world dominated by ruthless men,” per a synopsis.

Marc Piasecki/Getty

“Both a tragic love story and a nuanced depiction of the conflict between revenge and forgiveness, The Dead Don’t Hurt is a portrait of a passionate woman determined to stand up for herself,” the synopsis adds.

“I’ve never sensed a false moment, an untruthful or superficial line reading or gesture in any role I’ve seen her play,” Mortensen says of costar Krieps, 40. “Her performance turned out to be even more layered and moving than I'd hoped it might be.”

Never miss a story — sign up for PEOPLE's free daily newsletter to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from juicy celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.

Following his 2020 directorial debut Falling , Mortensen says he began writing The Dead Don’t Hurt amid lockdown during the height of the pandemic. “The first image that came to me was of a young girl playing alone in a forest and dreaming about the adventures she might have in her life,” he says.

“That girl was inspired by what I know of my mother’s childhood experiences and dreams, and the landscapes she grew up in,” says Mortensen, whose mother died in 2015. “As I continued to construct the story it became one about a proud, free-thinking woman.”

Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty

He adds that classic Westerns featured heavily in his childhood. “Knowing how to ride and be around horses from an early age helped me in accurately representing everyday life on the western frontier,” says Mortensen.

“There are always surprises during shooting, however, no matter how well you prepare as a team,” he continues, calling the movie “a long and arduous journey from start to finish.”

“Every day is a challenge and a unique opportunity for adventure. The best thing a director can do is to take into account the ideas and professional contributions of all members of the cast and crew to overcome obstacles along the way. I learned a great deal from all of them, and we are proud of the movie we made.”

The Dead Don’t Hurt had its premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival . From distributor Shout! Studios, the film is in theaters May 31.

Get in [ edit ]

By boat [ edit ].

During summer there are boats from Kazan , Samara and other destinations on the Volga River.

By train [ edit ]

The train takes you here from Moscow (from Kazanskaya train station) in approximately 16 hours or from Volgograd in about 20 hours. Ulyanovsk Main Station is located 6 km from the city center.

Get around [ edit ]

Ulyanovsk has an extensive public transportation network that includes buses, trolleys, and trams. It is very affordable, but congested and may be quite confusing. You won't find any route maps or schedules, neither at bus stops nor in buses. Fee collectors usually don't speak English. Express buses and semi-private van routes are more comfortable and more expensive. Taxis are not expensive, and that's your best bet if you want to get somewhere (relatively) quickly, in (relative) comfort (almost all cars are old Russian ladas or over 10 year old non-Russian cars), and without much hassle. They are also most likely to have English speaking drivers (one in 1000) and superloud Russian pop music.

Getting between the banks of the Volga is a problem. There is a two lane bridge connecting the banks and it's nearly always congested, so if you're unlucky, it can take a couple of hours. Most locals avoid going over the bridge if they can. A four-lane bridge was planned to relieve these problems.

As the home town of Lenin, it's worth visiting the Lenin Memorial Centre and Gardens and museums based in his former houses. There is also a museum dedicated to the poet 'Goncharov' and the war memorial at the end of the main street 'Ulitsa Goncharova' offers breathtaking views over the Volga.

Do [ edit ]

In winter, try cross-country skiing along the Sviaga river, in summer take a boat ride over the reservoir.

Buy [ edit ]

The city's main shopping centre 'Tsum' is basic to say the least but does offer some basic shopping.

Eat [ edit ]

The Best Cleaning and Organizing Deals From Amazon’s Big Spring Sale

Photos of a robot vacuum and a fabric shaver in an illustrated collage.

Spring has sprung—which means it’s time to crack your windows, soak up some sunshine, and maybe, just maybe, tackle a few spring-cleaning projects.

Wirecutter journalists think about cleaning and organizing year-round, recommending all the best tools and methods that leave your space feeling fresh. The only thing better than having cleaning supplies that get the job done is stocking up on them at a discount.

We’ve rounded up the best deals on some of our favorite cleaning and organizing supplies below.

A sleek shoe rack

Shoes on a Yamazaki Home Tower Shoe Rack.

Yamazaki Home Tower Shoe Rack — Upgrade Pick Amazon deal price: $94 ; street price: $115

The durable, investment-worthy Yamazaki Home Tower Shoe Rack  is stylishly sleek enough to display in your entryway and slim enough to tuck away in a closet if you’d rather keep your kicks out of sight. It can store up to 24 pairs of adult-size shoes on its five shelves (plus the space on the floor underneath). The top of the rack can also double as an entryway shelf, and the tower includes two hooks on the side for hanging keys or an umbrella. The shoe rack is currently on sale only in white.

A vacuum that doesn’t suck

A Roborock Q5+ Robot Vacuum.

Roborock Q5+ Robot Vacuum — Our Pick Roborock deal price: $370 ; street price: $550

A self-emptying robot vacuum allows you to tackle other chores while it goes around your house sucking up debris and dirt. Compared with other robot vacuums we tested, our top pick, the Roborock Q5+ Robot Vacuum , offers better battery life, app navigation, mapping, and voice-command response. It’s excellent at cleaning hard floors and low- to medium-pile carpet. Like nearly all of its competition, it struggled to pick up debris near thresholds and baseboards in our tests. The Roborock Q5+ comes with a charging station that empties debris into a disposable bag. Use the code ROBOROCKS for the deal price.

A high-security shredder

An Amazon Basics 8-Sheet High-Security Micro-Cut Shredder with Pullout Basket.

Amazon Basics 8-Sheet High-Security Micro-Cut Shredder with Pullout Basket — Top Pick Amazon deal price: $62 ; street price: $69

Mail and documents with personal information can pile up quickly, and it can be easy to let them just lie around if you’re not sure how to securely dispose of them. Opting for a high-security shredder—such as our top pick, the Amazon Basics 8-Sheet High-Security Micro-Cut Shredder with Pullout Basket —can help you micro-cut documents with ease. It can run jam-free for nearly 10 minutes without overheating, and it includes a separate CD/DVD shredding slot. This shredder is slightly larger than other eight-sheet shredders with lift-up tops, but its functionality is worth the extra space it occupies.

A lopper for too-big branches

A Fiskars 28" Power-Lever Bypass Lopper.

Fiskars 28″ Power-Lever Bypass Lopper — Also Great Target deal price: $20 ; street price: $23

Spring is the perfect time to give your outdoor spaces some love. If you have branches that need pruning, the Fiskars 28″ Power-Lever Bypass Lopper may be able to help you tackle those that are too big for your average pruners. It works more quickly than a saw, and it’s long enough to prune harder-to-reach branches just as easily as the low-hanging ones.

A secure lockbox

Medication inside a Barska Compact Medication Lock Box.

Barska Compact Medication Lock Box — Upcoming Pick Amazon deal price: $41 ; street price: $51

If you’re reorganizing your medicine cabinet, it might be a good time to also invest in a lockable box to keep prescriptions and other medications safe from the little ones in your home. The Barska Compact Medication Lock Box is a wall-mounted metal lockbox that we’ll be recommending in our upcoming guide to keeping your stash—whether it’s marijuana or something else—secure. This mountable lockbox can accommodate pill bottles of all sizes and heights, along with other first-aid resources. It can also sit on a countertop, though we know that its stark-white metal style isn’t for everyone. Make sure to clip the on-page coupon for the deal price.

A quick fashion fix

A Homeasy Fabric Shaver.

Homeasy Fabric Shaver — Our Pick Amazon deal price: $22 ; street price: $25

Instead of replacing your closet staples, consider investing in some laundry aids that can help your clothes last a bit longer. The Homeasy Fabric Shaver is our top-pick electric fabric shaver for big jobs, such as de-pilling and de-fuzzing sweaters in need of some TLC after a long winter. It features six sharp blades, a wide head, and intuitive controls, and it proved very effective during our testing. It’s quiet, comfortable to hold, capable of lasting up to six hours on a full charge, and USB rechargeable. The deal price is about $2 higher than the lowest sale price we’ve seen, but this deal is still a good value.

A few things to know about your pet's traveling container:

  • The travel container must be large enough for the pet to stand, turn around, and lie down in a natural position.  The carrier must also fit underneath the seat in front of you. There may be certain seats that cannot accommodate your pet container, but we'll work with you to get a seat assignment with space.
  • Maximum dimensions for a pet container are 18" length x 14" width x 8" height.
  • We recommend the container be a soft-sided case.
  • Your pet must stay in its container at all times.
  • In addition to the travel container for your pet, you are allowed either a personal item OR a carry-on bag. An additional fee will apply for the carry-on bag.
