Dalam rangkaian tur Asia Liverpool di Singapura, The Reds dijadwalkan menghadapi Leicester City di National Stadium, Singapura, pada 30 Juli 2023. Kendati melawan tim yang tampil di Championship pada musim 2023/2024 laga tersebut diperkirakan berlangsung sengit.

Nama-nama pemain anyar Liverpool seperti Alexis Mac-Allister dan Dominik Szoboszlai sudah masuk dalam skuad The Reds dalam tur Singapura. Selain itu, ada juga bintang lainnya seperti Mohamed Salah dan Virgil van Dijk.

Dikutip dari situs web resmi Liverpool gelandang bertahan Fabinho, mengatakan timnya sudah siap untuk menjalani pramusim. Setelah tampil buruk di musim 2022/2023 serta gagal lolos Liga Champion, The Reds bakal berupaya untuk bersaing memenangi semua kompetisi.

"Sekarang fokus kami adalah mempersiapkan pramusim yang bagus supaya lebih siap menghadapi musim ini [baru]. Kami harus memastikan bisa bersaing untuk memperebutkan trofi di musim 2023/2024," kata Fabinho, dikutip dari laman resmi klub.

Laga paling ditunggu di pramusim 2023/2024 Liverpool adalah menghadapi Bayern Munchen pada 2 Agustus 2023. Duel yang juga digelar di National Stadium, Singapura tersebut diprediksi berlangsung menarik.

Baik Liverpool maupun Bayern Munchen sama-sama berupaya memperbaiki tim setelah tampil kurang apik di musim lalu. Meski memenangi Bundesliga 2022/2023 Bayern tampil di bawah ekspektasi. Mereka tersingkir di babak 8 besar Liga Champion, dan gagal melaju ke final DFB Pokal.

Liverpool sudah mengumumkan jadwal pramusim untuk musim 2023/24. Jika klub-klub Liga Inggris lainnya memilih untuk mengunjungi Amerika Serikat, The Reds memilih untuk mengunjungi Singapura dan akan melakoni dua laga uji coba.

Sebelum bertolak ke Asia Tenggara, skuad asuhan Jurgen Klopp akan lebih dulu pergi ke Jerman untuk melakukan pemusatan latihan. Mereka juga akan melakukan ujicoba melawan klub Bundesliga 2, Karlsruhe SC.

Saat ini penjualan tiket pertandingan pramusim Liverpoo l di Singapura sudah resmi dijual melalui laman resmi Ticketek. Ada 10 kategori yang bisa dipilih dengan harga yang bervariasi, namun sayang, kategori Bronze untuk pertandingan vs Bayern sudah habis terjual.

Liverpool fc stadium tour and museum now open.

Liverpool FC’s stadium tour and museum are now open and ready to welcome visitors for the first time since March.

Following the Government’s announcement that visitor attractions are able to reopen, the stadium tour and museum team have been working hard to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for guests in line with social distancing and industry guidelines.

To ensure visitor safety, extensive health and safety measures have been implemented making the tour a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Capacity will be limited to allow visitors to maintain social distancing - all tours must be booked advance. Hand sanitising stations on entry have also been installed and enhanced cleaning regimes applied.

Social distancing guidelines will also be implemented via a newly designed one-way system with two-metre markers in place. The tour’s multimedia handsets will be sanitised thoroughly between each use and all visitors will receive their own individual LFC branded earbuds at no charge.

Guests are advised that all till points and payments will be contactless or payment via debit/credit card, and visitors will be required to print their tickets in advance or display them on a mobile device.

Fans are advised that the Premier League trophy will not be on display at Anfield at this time - further information on this will be provided in due course. The Boot Room Sports Café will remain closed; however, Anfield’s superstore will be open the public.

Tom Cassidy, senior manager, tourism at Liverpool FC said: “We understand that things might feel a little different next time our supporters visit, however we look forward to welcoming fans and visitors back to the LFC stadium tour and museum.”

As part of the reopening, LFC stadium tour and museum has launched a brand-new tour - The Anfield Origins - which takes in the external surroundings of the stadium learning about the history of our great club as you are taken from the late 19th century to present day. Visitors will finish the tour on the illustrious Kop and take in the famous Anfield pitch.

Tickets to this tour also include entry to the club’s interactive museum, The Liverpool FC Story , The Steven Gerrard Collection exhibition and all six European cups.

Bola.net - Jadwal pramusim Liverpool 2022/23. The Reds rencananya akan terbang ke sejumlah negara untuk kali ini, termasuk menuju dua negara tetangga Indonesia, yakni Thailand dan Singapura.

Musim 2021/22 kemarin cukup sukses bagi Liverpool. Pasukan Jurgen Klopp nyaris meraih empat trofi yang tersedia. Namun, pada akhirnya Jordan Henderson cs harus puas dengan dua gelar juara, yakni Carabao Cup dan FA Cup.

Liverpool rela mengeluarkan biaya awal senilai 70 juta euro untuk memboyong Darwin Nunez dari Benfica. Selain itu, The Reds juga merekrut Calvin Ramsay dan Fabio Carvalho.

Tur Pramusim Liverpool

Liverpool akan memulai tur pramusim mereka di Bangkok, Thailand dengan menghadapi sang rival abadi, Manchester United di Rajamangala Stadium.

Setelah itu, The Reds mampir ke Singapura untuk meladeni tantangan Crystal Palace. Cuma dua negara itu lah yang dikunjungi Liverpool di luar Eropa untuk tahun ini.

Liverpool pun akan melakoni sejumlah pertandingan pramusim di Eropa, dimulai dengan melawan tuan rumah RB Leipzig, melawat ke markas Red Bull Salzburg, dan kembali ke Inggris.

Liverpool bakal menutup pramusim mereka dengan menjalani dua laga dalam dua hari beruntun, masing-masing melawan Manchester City di ajang Community Shield dan menjamu Strasbourg di Anfield.

Return to the 1960s with the liverbirds, women rockers who proved john lennon wrong, and a book of beatles on tour, by kenneth womack.

When historians consider the Beatles’ vast musical influence, they invariably highlight such touchstones as the band’s performance on "The Ed Sullivan Show" in February 1964 or the cultural juggernaut ignited by "Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band" and the Summer of Love. But for the Liverbirds, a pioneering British quartet, Ground Zero occurred in Liverpool’s Cavern Club in 1962. 

For 16-year-old Mary McGlory, the Liverbirds’ bassist, the sight and sound of the Beatles made for an originary moment. From her earliest days, she had planned on becoming a nun, but in one indelible evening, she saw a new future laid out before her. In "The Other Fab Four: The Remarkable True Story of the Liverbirds, Britain’s First Female Rock Band," McGlory and bandmate Sylvia Saunders have compiled a fascinating memoir that explores the liminal spaces occupied by female musicians in an often unforgiving male-dominated field.

Along with Saunders, the Liverbirds’ drummer, McGlory formed the group in 1963, rounding out the foursome with guitarists Pamela Birch and Valerie Gell. The band’s name derived from the mythical liver bird, the iconic symbol of their native Liverpool’s heritage. In short order, they became known as “the female Beatles” on the local Merseybeat music scene. When it came to finding their mettle, they stoked the fires of their ambitions after John Lennon infamously remarked that “girls” couldn’t compete when it came to electric guitar pyrotechnics.

The Liverbirds went on to prove Lennon wrong by following in the Beatles’ vaunted footsteps and becoming a headlining act in Hamburg’s seedy Reeperbahn. Largely a cover band with a penchant for American R&B, they went on tour with the likes of the Rolling Stones , Chuck Berry and the Kinks . They even went on to enjoy commercial success in West Germany, where their cover version of Bo Diddley ’s “Diddley Daddy” scored a top-five hit. Unlike the Beatles, longevity wasn’t on the Liverbirds’ side. They broke up in 1968 after touring Japan.

But the real story of "The Other Fab Four" isn’t really about fame and fortune, but rather, friendship. McGlory and Saunders’ book affords readers with a heartwarming story involving family, addiction and tragedy as the Liverbirds pursued their dreams in an era that largely wasn’t ready for them. 

In its finest moments, Davis’ book takes readers on an intimate journey at the heart of the Beatles’ unprecedented, otherworldly success as they crisscrossed the continent. Davis’ portraits of the Fab Four and his impressions of their first brushes with mega-fame make for a captivating and charming read. Highlights include Davis’s retellings of the Beatles coming into close proximity with the glitterati of the day — household names like Elvis Presley , Bob Dylan , the Beach Boys and Muhammad Ali . In Davis’ skillful hands, the Beatles’ heady early days of North American fame come vividly to life.

Xabi Alonso will stay as coach of Bayer Leverkusen, ending speculation linking him with the soon-to-be vacant Liverpool and Bayern Munich jobs.

“This is the right place for me to be, to develop as a coach,” Alonso said Friday, adding that his squad’s drive to succeed was a key reason to remain.

“They gave me so many reasons to keep believing in the team, for their commitment, for their desire, for their hunger to have a great season. I feel that my job is not over here,” the 42-year-old Alonso said.

“I want to help the team and I want to help the young players to develop. And if I am part of the process, I’m happy with that. So putting all the things together, this important decision, hopefully, I’m convinced is the right one. I’m happy. I’m still young, so time will tell, but right now I feel like that.”

Alonso said he reflected on his future during the recent international break before informing Leverkusen.

Leverkusen is on course for its first German title, 10 points clear in the Bundesliga with eight games remaining. Leverkusen, which was in the relegation zone when Alonso took charge in October 2022, is still unbeaten in all competitions this season.

That record has made Alonso one of the most sought-after coaches in world soccer. He has two more seasons left on his contract at Leverkusen. It’s the first head coach job of Alonso’s career and he emphasized he believes he’s still learning as he goes.

The former Spain midfielder was a player for both Bayern and Liverpool. Both clubs are seeking new coaches for next season. Bayern is parting company with Thomas Tuchel , in part because it lags so far behind Alonso’s Leverkusen, while Jürgen Klopp is stepping down as Liverpool manager after nine years.

Alonso didn’t say how much contact, if any, he had with Bayern or Liverpool.

“I think that it wouldn’t be correct for me to talk about other clubs when they are in this situation, for sure. They are clubs that I have a strong link (with), I play there, so I respect them, but it’s not correct for me to talk about them right now,” he said. ”It’s more about the conviction that I have that I am in the right place in Bayer Leverkusen and that I want to keep growing with the club, growing with the players, learning from them.”

Alonso added that he wants to help build Leverkusen into a Champions League contender, with its return to Europe’s top competition all but certain for next season.

In Liverpool, Klopp said he understood Alonso’s decision, having been in a similar situation. The German had extended his stay at Borussia Dortmund in 2013 despite interest from other clubs.

“I had a similar situation and did pretty much the same, and never regretted it,” Klopp said at a news conference ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League match against Brighton on Sunday. “The club is doing an incredible job there. Leverkusen has a good team, probably will keep the team together. It’s not in all years like that. So I understand that he wants to do that.”

Leverkusen’s next game is against Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Saturday. That kicks off a run of eight games in 29 days as Leverkusen also plays in the German Cup semifinals against Fortuna Düsseldorf and in the Europa League quarterfinals against West Ham.
