Idaho Loves Zach Bryan! Pictures from His Show in Nampa 2023
- Share on Facebook
Zach Bryan played an incredible show at the Ford Idaho Center Arena Thursday night, and there is no doubt that it left a lasting impression — the musicality and instrumental talents of his band were out of this world.
Plus, it was so nice being inside for this one! It's been like 105-degrees, so to be inside and staying cool was great. However, it was still warm because the Ford Idaho Center was so full of Zach Bryan fans! And he mentioned being hot, too, because apparently he got sunburnt spending about 2 days on the Boise River!
We've got pictures from the concert below, but we wanted to also share some of the highlights.
First and foremost, Zach Bryan's band, folks. Phenomenal doesn't even cut it. The instrumentals were a masterpiece in motion, featuring the upright bass, banjos, and—wait for it—trumpets! And the trumpet solos? Those were absolute fire and it definitely wowed the crowd.
Second, Molly from Idaho! Molly is a young Zach Bryan fan from the area, and she's got a TikTok where she posts Zach Bryan covers. He had her join him on stage for a song! When they were talking about it in her TikTok comments, he said, "only if you play the guitar for it."
And she did! She played the guitar and sang beautifully "She's Alright" with Zach Bryan! She stepped onto that big stage and shared a song with her musical idol. Goosebumps, anyone?
We've seen a lot of concerts, but this one? It's etched in our memory. From Molly's moment to the stellar instrumentals and trumpet solos etc. — it was a rollercoaster of emotions that we won't forget.
Idaho loves you Zach, and we'll see you next time!

Zach Bryan Flips Off Ticketmaster, Aims to Shut Down Scalpers on New Summer Tour
By Jon Freeman
Jon Freeman
As he promised late last year, Zach Bryan will be largely Ticketmaster-free on a sprawling tour of North America this summer. The singer-songwriter just announced dates for his headlining Burn Burn Burn American Tour 2023, which gets underway May 10 in Charlottesville, Virginia.
“I’ve tried my best to make tickets as affordable as possible for the Burn Burn Burn Tour,” Bryan said in a new video making the announcement. The brief clip features comedian Theo Von spelling out the ticket-buying rules in a wack y infomercial straight out of The Office (there’s even a cameo from Kevin!).
“We’re out here fighting the good fight with these human snakes at ticketing companies and dark-art bots on the internet,” Von quips in the announcement video. “Good luck, and here’s to fair pricing for all.”

Tickets purchased through AXS can’t be sold for profit, but they can be resold for face value to other fans through the Zach Bryan AXS Marketplace. There are also a handful of non-AXS events in London, Ontario; Philadelphia; Nampa, Idaho; and Wichita, Kansas, where no resales at all will be allowed.

Zach Bryan Sets Headlining 2023 Burn, Burn, Burn Tour — See Dates
Zach Bryan is taking off on a major headlining tour this summer, and he's putting his commitment to providing fair prices to fans into action. The "Something in the Orange" singer announced Thursday (Jan. 19) that his Burn, Burn, Burn North American Tour will kick off Wednesday, May 10 at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Va.
The tour boasts 28 headlining dates — it will travel throughout the United States mainly, with one date in Canada. Most of the shows will take place at indoor arenas, with the exception of a two-night stand at Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 26 and 27.
The run will close out on Aug. 30 in Kansas City, Mo. at T-Mobile Center.
Bryan is committed to providing reasonable ticket prices for fans, and he even called out Ticketmaster's practices with his recent live album, All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster. Now, he's making good on his promise by offering tickets through Fair AXS. This system will prohibit ticket resellers from buying a large volume of tickets and reselling them for a profit.
Bryan sent a text message to fans prior to the public announcement of his tour, explaining the process of purchasing tickets.
"Here's what you guys need to know, for the love of God, don't overthink it and don't complain about forty different things," he says. "This is the first time anyone's doing anything like so have some grace."
The singer also shared a humorous, '90s-infomercial type video featuring Theo Von, which explains the ticket buying system.
In summary, fans will need to register with Fair AXS between now and Jan. 29 at 10PM ET to have a chance to buy tickets. Soon after, a randomly selected group of registered fans will be notified via email that they may buy tickets. They will receive purchase information on Feb. 13. There will be a four-ticket limit for the majority of the shows and a two-ticket limit for the Red Rocks shows. Tickets begin at $40 and will not exceed $130. Service fees will be between $10 and $20, excluding credit card fees and state taxes. Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis.
While tickets purchased to Bryan's shows on Fair AXS cannot be resold for profit, fans who buy tickets to a show but can no longer attend may resell tickets on the Zach Bryan AXS Marketplace for face value. The concerts in London, Ontario, Nampa, Idaho and Wichita, Kansas, are non-AXS ticketed events and may not be resold.
Bryan concludes the text to his fans writing, "We're out here fighting the good fight with these human snakes over at Ticketmaster. Good luck and here's to fair prices for all!"

Zach Bryan Announces Openers For ‘Burn, Burn, Burn’ Tour, Including Trampled By Turtles, Charles Wesley Godwin & More
Zach Bryan is bringing the best of the best along with him for his upcoming Burn, Burn, Burn tour.
He revealed on Instagram that his good friend Charles Wesley Godwin will be on the road with him, who opened up on his 2022 tour, as well as his bandmate and great artist in his own right JR Carroll, in addition to Jonathan Peyton and the most intriguing part of the lineup, Trampled By Turtles.
Needless to say, if you were lucky enough to score tickets, you’re in for an absolutely incredible show, full of great music from every single artist on the bill, as they will rotate on different dates.
And every show is already sold out, so Zach even added dates to Philadelphia, Tulsa, New York City and Duluth earlier this week.
Zach also managed to keep his word and find a way to evade going the traditional Ticketmaster route in terms of ticket sales, as he has been very publicly outspoken about his disdain for the company, opting to use private vendor AXS instead.
He shared the opening lineup in a post on Instagram earlier, adding that all venues will be checking people’s ID’s at the door to ensure that nothing shady happened with the tickets and that scalpers weren’t able to sneak in and misuse them:
“The Burn, Burn, Burn Tour is sold out. The marketplace for resale opens this Monday, February 27th. You will be able to resell your tickets for any show (except Philly, London, Nampa, & Wichita) at original face value only, and not one dollar higher.
Please also note all venues will be checking ID’s to ensure name matching is consistent. Any non-matching ID’s or scalped tickets will not be permitted entry to the venue.
AND OUR OPENERS ARE MY FAVORITE BANDS IN THE WORLD. CHARLES WESLEY GODWIN, TRAMPLED BY TURTLES, JONATHAN PEYTON & JR CARROLL.”
He also said that, while he’s certainly gotten shit for going the lottery route in an effort to ensure fair ticket prices for those fans randomly selected, he can’t wait to be out on the road playing for fans again.
Zach cautioned them to be aware of scams going on with tickets anywhere online, but especially on Instagram, as the only place you can buy verified tickets for these shows is via AXS:
“Besides all the shit I got for making prices fair, I am so insanely excited to play this year. I love all of you guys and I am so blessed.
Don’t believe anything in the comments offering tickets. I’m sorry if anyone has been confused or inconvenienced but it’s an apology I’m willing to make.
Goodnight, good riddance and God speed.”

Zach Bryan Announces Spring/Summer Tour, Bypassing Ticketmaster, as Vowed

Zach Bryan , 2022’s breakout country star, has made good on his strongly stated vow to avoid Ticketmaster for his next tour, as he announced a spring/summer 2023 tour that will use AXS for ticketing purposes, via a “Fair AXS” registration system.
His announcement of the “Burn Burn Burn North American Tour” Thursday prominently refers to AXS throughout — while mentioning AXS’ far bigger rival, the object of his recent ire, only in a reference to the title of his latest album, “All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster (Live at Red Rocks).”
Registration for a shot at getting tickets is open now through Jan. 29 at 10 p.m. ET at http://www.axs.com/zachbryan . After that, the announcement says, fans will be “randomly selected to purchase tickets” and notified via email with instructions about how to proceed, starting Feb. 13. The language emphasizes that receiving the email offer after registering is not a guarantee of being able to purchase tickets, indicating just how heavy a response Bryan is expecting to get for the shows.
The tour will take place almost entirely in indoor arenas, despite the warm weather months ahead, with exceptions being made for a two-nighter at Red Rocks Amphitheatre — where he recorded the aforementioned live album just two and a half months ago, on an unexpectedly snowy night — and seven festival dates.
After a one-off date April 15 at the Two Step Inn Festival in Texas, the tour begins in earnest May 10 at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA, and wraps up Aug. 30 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO. Notable stops along the way include an evening at Los Angeles’ Crypto-com Arena near the tour’s end on Aug. 23, and a trip to New York’s Forest Hills Stadium on June 23. The Red Rocks gigs are scheduled for June 26-27.
When Bryan surprise-released his live album on Christmas Eve with the derogatory reference to Ticketmaster in the title, he loosely laid out some plans for the new year, which didn’t take long to further develop. “Seems like there is a massive issue with fair ticket prices to live shows lately,” he said in his social media. “I have met kids at my shows who have paid upwards of four hundred bucks to be there and I’m done with it. I’ve decided to play a limited number of headline shows next year to which I’ve done all I can to make prices as cheap as possible and to prove to people tickets don’t have to cost $450 to see a good and honest show… I believe working class people should still be able to afford tickets to shows… I am so so tired of people saying things can’t be done about this massive issue while huge monopolies sit there stealing money from working class people.”
Ticket prices have not yet been revealed for the “Burn Burn Burn” tour, except for the handful of festival appearances that have already gone on sale.
The 2023 tour itinerary (with festival dates marked with an asterisk):

ABOUT ZACH BRYAN
Hailing from Oologah, Oklahoma, Zach Bryan has quietly gone from serving in the U.S. Navy to rising to the forefront of country as a captivating storyteller, tried-and-true performer, and once-in-a-generation voice without comparison. After grinding it out independently and building a devout audience one fan at a time, Bryan signed with Warner Records and arrived as country music's brightest and boldest star, and to date has tallyed over 3 billion global streams.
He notably earned Gold certified singles "Condemned", "Letting Someone Go," and "From Austin" plus platinum single, "Heading South" and now double Platinum "Something in the Orange." The latter also garnered a 2023 GRAMMY® Award nod in the category of "Best Country Solo Performance," and made former US president Barack Obama's Favorite [25 Songs] Music List for 2022.
His third and first studio album for Warner Records album, AMERICAN HEARTBREAK, bowed at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart and in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200, enshrining it as one of the most successful country album debuts in the genre's history. Bryan also topped the Billboard Country Songwriters Chart at #1. Simultaneously, AMERICAN HEARTBREAK, emerged as the "#1 Most Streamed Country Album on Spotify" for 2022.
The record closed out a banner year at #1 on The New York Times "Best Albums of 2022" and Billboard's "Best Country Albums of 2022," and attaining RIAA certified Gold sales status in the US and Canada and will soon be certified Platinum. The hit single "Something In The Orange" graced year-end lists by NPR, Associated Press, The Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, Consequence, SLANT and many more.
The song has become a global hit charting in Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Norway and Sweden. Bryan's AMERICAN HEARTBREAK Tour sold out every show which included headlining theaters and amphitheaters coast-to-coast and performing at prestigious music festivals such as Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and Stagecoach. He chronicled his November 2022 Red Rocks Amphitheatre stop with his first-ever live album, ALL MY HOMIES HATE TICKETMASTER (LIVE FROM RED ROCKS), released digitally on Christmas Day 2022 as a heartfelt "Thank You" to his fans.
Bryan and band performed "Motorcycle Drive-By" and "Summertime Blues" on the hit TV series Yellowstone season 5, episode 7, (Dec 18, 2022) which also featured the song "Quittin Time." "The Good I'll Do" and "Tishomingo," both featured in previous episodes immediately reacted in a big way globally on Shazam.
At the top of 2023, Bryan scored his First #1 on Billboard Hot Country Songs and is presently climbing the Top 10 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart with "Something In The Orange," plus ALL MY HOMIES debuts on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. Expect more new music from Zach Bryan this year.
TICKET CENTRAL
Zach Bryan doesn’t need country radio. He just needs your heartstrings.
The singer got famous on youtube. do his songs still travel in a concert arena.
At a sold-out concert in late March, with a resale ticket of more than $1,000, Zach Bryan sang: “They’ll never understand that boy and his kind. All they comprehend …”
He paused, and the roughly 20,300 fans — drinking $17 hard seltzers and wearing $45 tour T-shirts in D.C.’s Capital One Arena — screamed in unison: “... IS A F---ING DOLLAR SIGN! ”
Bryan originally released this song, “Heading South,” on YouTube in 2019, a few days after his bare-bones debut album “DeAnn,” which was recorded in an Airbnb he converted into a makeshift studio by propping mattresses on the walls. The video is amateurish, lit poorly and shot from below Bryan’s knees at his sweaty face. He has red eye in it. And it has been viewed nearly 28 million times.
At the time, Bryan was in his sixth year as an active-duty member of the Navy, which honorably discharged him in 2021. Now, the 27-year-old is upending the country-music industry by finding his audience on social media, not the radio.
Country is the last genre still largely governed by terrestrial radio, even in the streaming era. What gets played on FM stations is what gets popular, and those airwaves are tightly guarded by station programmers who expect artists to play the game — which often involves kissing the ring on radio tours.
Bryan doesn’t do radio tours. He doesn’t do many interviews. He disparages the country machine.
And so country radio didn’t play his songs — not until he became famous, which is the inverse of how it normally goes.
Historically, artists require heavy airplay on country radio stations before they could sell out stadiums. That maxim was upended last year, according to Johnny Chiang, a SiriusXM vice president of music programming who previously spent 20 years programing terrestrial country radio.
The Style section
In 2023, Bryan became the first country artist to sell out stadiums without the radio push, according to Chiang.
Instead, he reached his fans through Twitter (now X), TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Bryan is “the genre’s first-ever viral-birthed, social-media country star,” says Kyle “Trigger” Coroneos, who runs the website Saving Country Music. A social media following led to a record deal with a major label, Warner.
Coroneos thinks country radio’s stronghold on the industry is overstated but agrees that Bryan represents a seismic inversion for the industry.
“Radio is no longer the kingmaker,” he says, and Bryan is proof.
Outsiders and interlopers — from Waylon Jennings to Sturgill Simpson — have always challenged the Nashville machine. And what indie rocker doesn’t have a country-tinged record nowadays? ( Please welcome Beyoncé and her cowboy hat to the stage .)
And those are the folks I tend to listen to.
For many music lovers (like me) who loathe the slick pop country that is played endlessly on country stations, Zach Bryan feels different. Something genuine, at least through the bookshelf speakers at my home.
But what about in a giant arena?
I first heard Bryan’s music not while perched on the bed of an F-150, sipping Wild Turkey under the Alabama stars, but through the screen on my Peloton stationary bicycle during a ride sound-tracked by his songs.
I was immediately hooked. Bryan reminded me of traditional country — gently strummed, with catchy-but-crushing songs that storify tough topics such as addiction and dementia. His live, full-band versions of the same songs absolutely rock. He’s Bruce Springsteen via Merle Haggard — or is it the other way around?
Denis Morton, the instructor who taught the Peloton class, told me he chose Bryan because he doesn’t sound like modern country music, which has “become a little bit homogenous,” Morton says. “He’s barely any more country than Tom Petty.”
Bryan’s songs have country-cliché titles — “Oklahoma Smokeshow,” “Quittin’ Time,” “Highway Boys” — but they don’t fall prey to country’s worst instincts (think empty imagery of cold beer on summer nights, and pairs of jeans that fit just right).
His homespun production, his raspy voice, his heartfelt storytelling, his DIY roots: It all feels authentic. Sometimes his guitar is out of tune, even on his albums. His fingers make mistakes. This all somehow adds to his appeal.
“He has a really gritty, authentic, heart-wrenching sound,” Chiang says.
Bryan positions himself as anti-establishment, even though it isn’t 100 percent true.
His live album, recorded at the Red Rocks Amphitheater outside of Denver, is titled “All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster” — but tickets to Monday’s show in D.C. were sold through Ticketmaster. He wore a shirt that read “RIP MAINSTREAM MEDIA” onstage at the Capital One Arena — after his team gave me a ticket to receive coverage.
“They want to control you,” Bryan said on Joe Rogan’s podcast, though he didn’t say who “they” is. “That’s how I feel with everything sometimes. That’s why I get so frustrated with people. Because everything I do, everyone has an opinion.” Welcome to being an artist in the public eye, my dude.
In 2022, Bryan tweeted that he “will never want to be considered at the CMAs” because “establishments will always be weird.” He promised to hold a concert outside the Country Music Awards next year, in the way that Simpson once busked outside the show.
Bryan was nominated for a CMA in 2023 and attended the ceremony. He accepted a Grammy in 2024. He can sing all he wants against the system, but he’s now working inside it.
A t his D.C. show, no one fretted over his authenticity, or wondered whether Bryan is some messiah who will tear down country music’s gatekeepers. Attendees were likely not thinking about country radio. Most of them probably don’t even own a radio. They were just drinking, and screaming, and singing. Yee-haw.
The delicacy of Bryan’s lyrics, and the intimacy of his songs, was stripped away at a live show and replaced by the tumult of communal experience. Rabid fans drowned his phrasings by shouting every lyric and squealing at every chord change. The concert experience was the tonal opposite of the small Southern towns he sings about.
The stage was shaped like a giant cross. It had a microphone set up at the end of each point, so he could address different sections of the crowd, which wrapped around the arena. Between songs, he repeatedly mentioned that he didn’t understand the music business when he was starting out.
The young crowd was outfitted with cowboy hats, denim, SEC school logos, denim, sunglasses dangling on Croakies (despite it being nighttime, and despite us being inside of an arena), sundresses, knee-high boots and denim. More than one fan vomited in the men’s bathroom before Bryan’s set began.
I felt like I was back at LSU, my alma mater.
With a propulsive band behind him and the spotlight on him, Bryan’s songs felt musically fleshier but thematically emptier.
It’s hard to feel like he’s fighting the establishment when his face is projected on a screen that must be 50 feet wide. It’s difficult to consider him an underdog in a room full of fans wearing $80 hoodies bearing his likeness. It’s tricky to sing-scold people who only care about money in an arena sponsored by Capital One.
But when he ended his concert by inviting the crowd to sing along, over and over again — “Baptize me in a bottle of Beam, and put Johnny on the vinyl!” — I couldn’t help myself.
I know it makes no sense to hate pop country and want to sing this at the top of my lungs. I know my culture and nostalgia as a Southerner are being exploited. I know he is wearing a T-shirt decrying my profession.
But for a moment, I didn’t care. Sometimes, the music is enough.
I bowed down, and I let the holy water roll over me.
