  • Snorkel Zombie's repeatable quest alludes its Almanac entry from the first game.
  • When doing the Beghouled Blitz Epic Quest, defeated zombies that have a repeatable quest for that moment will not count toward the quest.
  • Apparently, the Travel Log "thought he could tell Crazy Dave what to do."
  • Oddly, the Travel Log button depicts the log with a checklist sheet of paper, but on the "Come back soon for more Quests" screen, it is depicted with index cards instead.

Coming Soon: World Level Changes and Rewards

Plants vs. zombies™.

Coming in the next update we’ll be reshuffling some of our world levels and how they’ll appear in your game.

We’re streamlining our world map player journey when it comes to our most challenging levels (and upgrading the rewards while we’re at it).

Currently there are extra-challenging levels in Ancient Egypt, Pirate Seas, Wild West, Jurassic Marsh, Far Future and Modern Day Worlds that are accessible only after defeating Dr Zomboss. With the new update we’ll be moving those difficult levels into quest events. These levels will rotate through quests on a consistent basis and will reward Gems upon completion.

You’ll be able to access these levels via the Travel Log upon updating to the 7.4 binary, and even if you’ve previously completed these post-Zomboss levels you’ll be able to replay them and earn rewards every time they appear in your Travel Log.

If you’ve previously completed any of these difficult levels in Adventure mode, your progress will not be transferred once these levels are relocated.

Thanks again for your patience as we make these changes, and plant on!

Epic Quests

Introduced in the 4.6.1 update, the Epic Quests consist of a 6 or 8 level quest that offers an exclusive reward when completed, that can be either coins, seed packet (in huge amounts) or new plants, like Aloe and Electric Currant . These levels are modified versions of existing ones, and cannot be replayed once completed.

Premium Plant Quests

These are levels comparable to Piñata Parties that usually take place in the Player's House , but can be anywhere. They are available to play once a day and are usually Special Delivery levels, but can also be Locked and Loaded . They always feature at least one Premium Plant for use and used to give 10 points upon completion, but now just give a Money Bag .

Leveled-up Plant Quests

It is similar to the Premium Plant Quests, but it uses plants with high levels. After completing the level, it will give you a Piñata with the given seed packet is depending on the leveled-up plant used.

  • Apparently, the Travel Log "thought he could tell Crazy Dave what to do."
  • Oddly, the Travel Log button depicts the log with a checklist sheet of paper, but on the "Come back soon for more Quests" screen, it is depicted with index cards instead.

Plants vs. Zombies: The Plants' Rescue/Travel Log

  • View history

Travel Log is a returning feature from Plants vs. Zombies 2 to PvZ : The Plants' Rescue . It's a feature where you can play quests and get rewards when you've beat them. This feature was activated back at v.1.1.0, when Deep Paradise Woods is completed. There are four types of quests (since v.2.0.0), which is Daily Quests, Event Quests, World Quests and Epic Quests.

There are also the additional Travel Log's Mission. Which, you have to beat a Daily Quest specifically from Travel Log himself. He will reward you 2500 Coins for beating 2 quests from him, 6500 Coins for beating 5 quests from him, to Huge Universal Pinata for beating 7 quests from him. The quest given from him is pretty much daily, so misses the time, you have to get the remaining ones until next week.

  • 1 Daily Quests
  • 2.1 Beating Levels
  • 2.2 Getting Plants
  • 2.3 Defeating Zombies
  • 2.4 Challenges
  • 3.1.1 Gem Jam
  • 3.1.2 Brain Busters Frenzy

Daily Quests [ ]

Daily Quests are pretty self-explanatory. These quests just gives you a task to complete easy quests that appears daily. This type of quests is mainly Defeating Any Zombies, Collecting XP Packets, and more. They refresh every 4 hours real-time when it's beaten. And, you could exploit this when you're offline. You could also skip the Daily Quests if you think it's too hard or if you think it's not rewarding enough after 4 hours.  Here are some types of Daily Quests explained below.

World Quests [ ]

Here are types of quests that counts as World Quests . Most were things that are simple or easy to do, ranging from beating levels, getting plants, defeating zombies, challenges and more.  They aren't refreshable. You couldn't skip these quests, unlike daily quests. Here are some types of World Quests explained below.

Beating Levels [ ]

Beating Levels is pretty self-explanatory. What do you need to do is to beat levels the quests told you. It's relatively easy to do, and mostly rewards you with 500 Coins or a Small Universal Pinata which gives you 10 free XP Packets for Plants.

Example : Beat the Day 14 of Deep Paradise Woods!

This quest rewards you 5000 Coins, 5 Gems, or Medium Universal Pinata. There are ranges of Challenges you have to do, but there are only 5 at Version v.1.7.0, because that's the first version to introduce these quests.

The tweaks could ranged from additional endangered plants, additional zombies that isn't actually from that world, additional hazards for levels that doesn't had any hazards, or even more flags. This was known to be in the Medium difficulty in-game, but it could be harder.

Touring the Top 10 Moscow Metro Stations

By Claudia Looi 2 Comments

Komsomolskaya metro station

Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.

Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.

Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.

The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

Moscow subways are very clean

Moscow subways are very clean

To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow.   Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.

The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:

1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station  is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.

2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.

7. Kurskaya Metro Station was one of the first few to be built in Moscow in 1938. It has ceiling panels and artwork showing Soviet leadership, Soviet lifestyle and political power. It has a dome with patriotic slogans decorated with red stars representing the Soviet's World War II Hall of Fame. Kurskaya Metro Station is a must-visit station in Moscow.
