Rhythm and soul-infused beats await as The Roots make their way to The Wiltern on Saturday, 30th December 2023! Their upcoming Holiday Run Tour will cross major venues, including the Fox Theater in Oakland, The Pearl in Las Vegas, and more, before visiting the famous California stage.

As part of their Holiday Run Tour, American hip-hop band The Roots is scheduled to perform at The Wiltern in California on December 30th! Presently, the band has made a name for themselves by teaming up with Jimmy Fallon on his high-profile Tonight Show program. On top of that, combining efforts on the single “You Got Me” secured their first Grammy for Best Rap Performance while succeeding collaborations with John Legend brought home two more awards under R&B categories. With a set filled with lively music, these performers are a great choice for a Saturday night out with loved ones. As a bonus, The Wiltern provides the ultimate viewing experience when it comes to delivering the best audio-visual systems that the state has to offer. Previously, The Roots played as the house band for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon from 2009 to 2014 and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon from 2014 to present. In between shows, they are known for touring extensively, and their live sets are often considered to be the best in the genre.

“For the first half-hour, this moody mélange sounded like an ill-bent build-up to a dramatic live show. But when things finally turned to something listeners might identify as hip-hop, it was entirely prerecorded, new music alternating with old on the turntables,” the Hollywood Reporter mentions.

The Wiltern sits just 3.5 miles away from the Los Angeles Convention Center and can host anywhere from 25 to 2,300 guests. Taylor Swift adds surprise songs to every Eras Tour setlist. See all the songs she's played so far

One of the most anticipated moments of each night of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is her acoustic set .

At the far end of her stage, the singer-songwriter plays two different songs, one on the guitar and one on the piano.

Throughout 2023, fans from all over the globe tuned into social media to see which songs Swift would choose . She developed rules around the set. Each song could only be played once on the tour, unless she screwed it up. Oh, and she decided to start it all over again this year.

"I decided that in 2024, when we go back on tour, I'm just gonna open back up all the songs for surprise songs,” Swift said during her final 2023 performance in Sao Paulo, Brazil . “For one year, we've really gotten through a lot of songs, so I'm just gonna make all the songs fair game when we go back on tour."
