Hi everyone, I’m not used to having to make this sort of public statement, and it isn’t something I do lightly, but for personal, and mental health reasons I’ve made the decision to postpone my UK tour in June and July this year to February 2024.
I’m so incredibly sorry.
The last few years with the pandemic have been so hard, for everyone globally and also for me personally. During these last two years Mads and I decided to separate, and are currently in the middle of that process.
I had hoped that doing one of the things I love best - playing live for my fans - would help, but after taking everything into consideration I have realised that continuing with the UK tour at this stressful time in my personal life, would be detrimental to my family and mental health. It doesn’t feel right to leave my daughter for tour at this crucial time.
I hope you understand that this is not done lightly, and I am very aware of what the repercussions for my agent, promoters, venues, crew and my band will be. But most of all I am so very sorry to my fans. You guys have always been there for me. I have amazing support around me, my family and friends, and Mads who I am still very close to.
I’m so gutted about this, and hope that you can all respect me, Mads and our family’s space while we navigate this tricky path. You can be assured that I’ll be back out on the road as soon as I’m ready.
All tickets will remain valid for the new dates in February 2024, so I hope you will continue to hold onto them for these rescheduled dates. - Ladyhawke

Ladyhawke – 28 July 2023
Experience Ladyhawke live at the FIFA Fan Festival™ Dunedin/Ōtepoti on 28 July 2023
Phillipa “Pip" Brown, known by her stage name Ladyhawke, crafts larger-than-life songs that made her one of the leading lights of the 1980s’ synth-pop revival inthe late 2000s and beyond. However, she is just as inspired by Nirvana and the Electric Light Orchestra as by Cyndi Lauper or Pat Benatar, and her musical literacy meant that her award-winning 2008 debut album Ladyhawke garnered wide appeal and critical acclaim.
Where many of her contemporaries focus on slick surfaces, Ladyhawke draws on real-life emotions and situations that add depth to her songs, whether on the grunge and glam-rock augmented angst of 2012 album Anxiety or the therapeutic grooves of 2021 album Time Flies .

She posted on Facebook that she's doing the whole of the debut on her UK tour now. Whilst the debut is fantastic it's a shame she is likely to pay dust to much from Tine flies or the other albums. Seems a bizarre turn of events.

I’ve never had the chance to see her live until next month so I’m happy with the news of the debut album dominating the setlist, as it’s one of my favourite albums ever, but I’m sure there’ll be newer songs on the setlist too!

I’ve just noticed Love Don’t Love Here from the debut is no longer available on Apple Music, it’s greyed out, I’m guessing the Rose Royce song has something to do with it? I’m once again reminded that buying physical media is still the way forward.
It's a completely different song though? It's still on Spotify so it might just be a glitch. But yeah I agree re physical media, you're not at the ransom of the streaming services if you want to hear something.

Must just be an Apple Music thing then!

I saw her in Leeds last night, she put on a great show and the venue was packed, which was good to see! She played the first album front to back. I already have Wild Things on black vinyl but I couldn’t resist buying a signed yellow copy, I forget how much I enjoy that album.

I saw her in Newcastle and it was a great show. The post album songs were great too, the best tracks off the latest album and an unexpected but banger of a collab song.

Who is Isabeau Levito, 2024 World Figure Skating silver medalist?
S outh Jersey figure skater Isabeau Levito, 17, has one of America’s best chances for a medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy. Those Games are two years away, but she has been making a case for herself competition by competition.
Though this season has had more ups and downs than Levito usually experiences, she capped it with a silver medal at the 2024 World Figure Skating Championships on March 22 in Montreal.
“It’s just all building blocks,” Levito said in the press conference following the Worlds medal ceremony. “I feel like it’s just I’m picking up more achievements on my way to the Olympics … learning more experiences and becoming wiser and so that I can be the best that I can be by the time of the Olympics.”
What are Levito’s major achievements?
Levito had a stellar path to becoming a senior competitor, winning the juvenile competition at the U.S. Championships in 2018 and getting the silver medal in intermediate in 2019. In 2020, she won the Eastern Sectional Singles Final in novice, which meant she could skip ahead to compete as a junior at Nationals. There, she placed second and followed it up in 2021 with as the junior U.S. champion.
After that, she burst onto the scene as a senior in 2021-22, winning gold at the Junior Grand Prix competition in France and the silver medal at another Junior Grand Prix in Austria. She followed that up with a bronze medal at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, but at 14 was too young to qualify for the 2022 Winter Olympics team. However, she won the World Junior Figure Skating Championships in 2022 (which goes by age rather than by competitive level).
Levito had a great season in 2022-23, becoming the 2023 U.S. figure skating champion . She also placed second at the 2022-23 Grand Prix Final in Italy and was part of the team that won the World Team Trophy in Japan. She also was named the International Skating Union’s best newcomer .
This season, 2023-24, she placed second at Skate America, a grand prix event, and then won the Grand Prix de France in Angers , becoming the first American woman to win a Grand Prix competition in seven years. But she faltered in the short program at the Grand Prix Final, and, despite rallying in the free skate (or long program), she finished fifth.
Before the 2024 U.S. championships , Levito said she already was extremely nervous about losing her title. She pulled out a first place in the short program but then fell three times in the free skate and settled for bronze.
She wrapped up the season on a high note in Montreal, though. Levito’s silver medal was the best by a U.S. woman at the World Championships since Ashley Wagner in 2016.
What makes her stand out
Levito is a very balletic skater with beautiful footwork and spins.
“That was like light, fluffy whipped cream,” said commentator and 1998 Olympic champion Tara Lipinski after Levito performed her gold medal-winning free skate at the 2023 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.
How tall is she?
Levito is 5 feet, 2 inches.
Where does she live and train?
Born in Philadelphia, Levito lives in Mount Holly and trains at the Igloo Ice Rink in Mount Laurel.
Who are her coaches?
Levito’s primary coach is Yulia Kuznetsova , who started teaching her when she was 3. She also has lessons with Kuznetsova’s husband, Slava Kuznetsov. The couple is from Russia but has been living in the United States for years.
The rest of her coaching team includes Otar Japaridze, who is from Georgia and competed in ice dancing in the 2010 Olympics with Allison Reed (who competed at the 2024 worlds for Lithuania, with another partner). She also works with Zhanna Palagina.
Kuznetsova choreographs Levito’s programs.
What does she do when she’s not on the ice?
Levito enjoys crocheting and reading , “and then I love my 10 hours of sleep,” she said.
She lives with her mother, Chiara Garberi, and their four cats.
Levito’s grandmother — Garberi’s mother — lives in Torino, Italy, where the 2026 Winter Olympics will be held.
How did she get the name Isabeau?
Michelle Pfeiffer played a character named Isabeau in Ladyhawke , Garberi Levito’s favorite movie.
Where does Levito go to school?
Levito started in public school but in order to train and compete, she needed a flexible schedule and started online school in fourth grade.
She is in high school, taking honors and AP classes at well as honors courses with International VLA .
What is she doing in the offseason?
Stars on Ice, the popular skating tour, has been canceled in the United States this year. But Levito will be skating in Stars on Ice Japan.
She also likely will take a vacation. But training starts back up during the summer so she can break in new skates and get new programs for next season.

PHOENIX (AP) — Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band returned to the stage Tuesday evening at the Footprint Center in Phoenix in a triumphant reboot of the Boss’ postponed 2023 world tour.
In September Springsteen, 74, announced his tour would be delayed until 2024 , citing doctor’s advice as he recovered from peptic ulcer disease.
“The Boss” arrived on stage to an audience chorus of “Bruuuuce!” Wearing dark jeans and a rolled up red plaid flannel shirt, he had the energy of a man half his age. His signature “One, two, three, four” was the only thing that separated most songs, showing no signs of his illness from the previous year. Once he shouted, “Good evening, Arizona” the show was off and running.
Springsteen spoke to the crowd briefly about his illness prior to playing his final song “I’ll See You In My Dreams” solo on stage. “Phoenix, first I want to apologize if there was any discomfort because we had to move the show last time. . . . I hope we didn’t inconvenience you too much.”
The 29-song show came in just under three hours, but “The Boss” hardly broke a sweat while showing off a strong voice, all the while dancing, tearing into guitar solos, playing the harmonica and even ripping his shirt open near the end of the show.
On stage with Springsteen was the legendary E Street Band which features drummer Max Weinberg, bassist Garry Tallent, keyboardists Roy Bittan and Charlie Giordano, guitarists Stevie Van Zandt and Nils Lofgren, saxophonist Jake Clemons — nephew of original and still missed sax man Clarence Clemons who died in 2011 — guitarist and violin player Soozie Tyrell, a full horn and brass section and four backup vocalists. The only missing member of the band was Springsteen’s wife, singer and guitarist Patti Scialfa.
Springsteen performed most of the hits in his vast collection, minus “Born In The U.S.A.,” but he added covers “Nightshift” by the Commodores, “Because The Night” by Patti Smith Group, and a surprise: “Twist and Shout” by The Beatles. Fans went wild for “No Surrender,” “Born To Run,” “Rosalita,” “Dancing In The Dark,” “Glory Days” and “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out” that left the rocker grinning from ear-to-ear as he conducted fans singing along like his own chorus.
This year has been particularly challenging for Springsteen. In addition to his health issues, in January his mother, Adele Ann Springsteen, a fan favorite who could frequently be seen dancing at his shows, died . She was 98.
Two days after her death, Springsteen performed at the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year event, which honored Jon Bon Jovi for his musical achievements and philanthropic efforts.
The 2024 edition of the tour kicked off in Phoenix and ends Nov. 22 in Vancouver, Canada. It hits 17 countries across 52 dates, including a special performance on Sept. 15 where Springsteen will headline the Sea.Hear.Now Festival in his hometown of Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Study Shows There Was in Fact a Seismic 'Swift Quake' When Taylor Swift Brought the Eras Tour to L.A.
Researchers at CalTech and UCLA confirmed that Swifties' dancing and jumping at the fifth show of the pop superstar's six-night run at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles resulted in seismic activity

Taylor Swift 's fans did more than just "Shake It Off" at one of her Eras Tour concerts in Los Angeles last year.
According to a study conducted by researchers at Caltech and UCLA, when the pop superstar, 34, brought her career-spanning concert to SoFi Stadium in August 2023, 70,000 Swifties' jumping and dancing amounting to creating seismic activity.
The event is the latest "Swift quake" to result from one of the Grammy winner's shows — as her July tour stop at Seattle's Lumen Field was similarly reported to have resulted in seismic activity the "equivalent of a 2.3 magnitude earthquake" last year.
The researchers released their findings in a report that was published on Wednesday and titled "Shake to the Beat: Exploring the Seismic Signals and Stadium Response of Concerts and Music Fans." According to the academic paper, the audience's movements, as opposed to the music itself, generated "distinct harmonic tremors."
Christopher Jue/TAS24/Getty Images for TAS Rights Management
According to The Los Angeles Times , the researchers conducted their study specifically on the fifth night of Swift's six-night run at SoFi Stadium by setting up motion sensors just over five-and-a-half miles from the venue.
The data was then analyzed by looking at spectrograms, or graphs tracking wave length frequencies, which found "Shake It Off" produced the largest local magnitude of 0.851 and "Love Story" also had a significant amplitude.
The scientists were even able to conclude just how large "Swift quakes" are by also looking at the "concert tremors" caused by other huge shows at the same venue from performers like Beyoncé , Metallica and Morgan Wallen .
Caltech and UCLA's study followed findings shared by seismologist Jackie Caplan-Auerbach, who previously looked at how the record-breaking attendance at her Eras Tour show at Seattle's Lumen Field in July resulted in seismic activity.
Kevin Mazur/Getty
Swift's acclaimed Eras Tour first launched in spring 2023 and has shattered multiple attendance records throughout its run — even becoming the highest-grossing music tour of all time.
The North American leg of the hitmaker's tour ran throughout much of the spring and summer of last year, and she ended the year by playing a handful of shows across North America.
In 2024, Swift resumed her three-and-a-half-hour show with several dates in Japan , Australia and Singapore , and soon she'll take the concert overseas to Europe.
Following the release of her forthcoming, 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department , which is due out on April 19, the "Cruel Summer" singer will resume the Eras Tour in late May. Dates across Europe and the U.K. are set to continue throughout the summer and, by the fall, she'll play a handful of additional North American dates .

The concert film of the singer-songwriter's live show recently made its streaming debut on Disney+. Several months after the documentary, directed by Sam Welch, premiered in cinemas in October of last year, the full-length version hit streaming with the show's entire setlist, which has been previosuly cut from the theatrical version for length.
The film broke box office records — earning the most of any concert film in history in its debut weekend — as well as streaming stats. The version exclusive to Disney+, which has been dubbed Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) , became the most-watched music film on the platform just three days after it arrived.
