Amazing personal service from this company. Door to door collection and drop-off with helpful information and efficient friendly drivers. They pass you on to excellent guides at the sites ensuring you are settled before they leave you. Kai (spelling may be wrong) took us to Auschwitz & Birkenau and gave us lots of tips for things to do etc. Daniel took us to the Salt Mines and was equally wonderful, and also dropped us off at the Jewish Quarter on the way back after a mini tour and some more recommendations. We couldn't fault this service at all and would, and will, use them again. My grown-up daughter and I were very impressed.

Thank you so much for the review, it's very much appreciated. Daniel & Thomas

We booked the combined tour to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines on 11DEC. Kai was our driver and he was very professional and friendly, got it all organised for us in both locations, helped us book lunch and even got umbrellas for the group during the Auschwitz second stop as it was raining heavily. He definitely went above and beyond and we would happily recommend him and Krakow Trip =)

Thank you so much for the review, we really appreciate you taking the time to review us. Daniel & Thomas

We had transfers to and from the airport and a trip to Auschwitz. Everyone was so friendly and very prompt. We felt very safe in the cars. On the trip to Auschwitz other cars were overtaking very dangerously but our drivers were excellent. I sent many emails with questions and always got a very quick response even in the evenings. I would definitely recommend this company.

A very good experience booking with this company to visit Auschwitz & Birkenau. The driver picked us up from our hotel and arrived early, which is so much better than being late! We shared a minibus with another couple; our driver was friendly and chatty during the day. He was organised and spoke perfect English. We paid in cash at the end of our trip and would recommend KrakowTrip.com to all our friends.

Would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to visit Auschwitz and the Salt Mines. The driver Patrick was very nice as was our guide Thomas at Auschwitz and the gentleman at the mines. Both guides were very informative and were happy to break off to answer any questions.

Brilliant. A whole day being driven to Auschwitz, Birkenau & Salt mines £50 pp great value. Timings spot on. Friendly driver. Well organised. Will use you again. THANKS

Excellent service, great communication beforehand and the driver arrived right in time. This tour provides a very knowledgable tour guide, highly recommended

norbert.sopata

Daniel picked us up on time and did a superb job guiding us to and from Auschwitz. He brought us to the front of the line and found our tour guide. While a somber day, he could not have made it easier or more memorable. Thank you!

norbert.sopata

The driver picked us up at the hotel. He was on time and gave us exellent service during our drive and our time spent in both Auschwitz and Birkenau. He guided us to the enterance, explained everything we needed to know and waited for us while we had the tour in Auschwitz. He then drove us to Birkenau. He spoke English well and made our day exellent. I recomend this tour, it is firstly a good way to get to auschwitz, but the visit itself was educational and a need to experience tour. I highly recomend visiting Auschwitz- Birkenau and Kraków Trip.

norbert.sopata

Absolutely awesome experience. From booking, which I did way too late, to the actual tours, this was a perfect experience. Igor and Daniel were both awesome, fun and knowledgeable conversations about local history. Also, they spoke perfect English. I can not recommend this company enough. Auschwitz was, of course, a very sad and sobering experience. The salt mine was a much needed palate cleanser. I was concerned that the salt mine would be a bit too much of a tourist trap, and though it was touristic, it was an interesting and excellent experience.

norbert.sopata

What a brilliant, brilliant day! Really made our trip and lasting memories made. Superbly organised, excellent communication, attentive, kind and helpful driver Patrick, punctual and efficient. The salt mines were incredible, mind blowing and a feast for the eyes, whilst Auschwitz-Birkenau tour was respectful, educational, and something never to be forgotten. Quite simply superb and excellent value. Don’t hesitate – book it!

Wieliczka salt mine.

Opening Hours: Open from 8:00am-5:00pm

Ticket Price: 66 PLN

Location: Daniłowicza 10, 32-020 Wieliczka, Poland

The Wieliczka Salt Mine, located near Krakow , Poland, is a salt mine that has been mined since the 13th century and has basically ceased production. The salt mine is 327 meters deep and over 300 kilometers long. There are rooms, chapels, and underground lakes in the salt mine, just like an underground city. In 1978, the Wieliczka Salt Mine was registered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Reviews from Real Guests:

Kim~ Keep on EXPloring: Wieliczka is the oldest salt mine in the world. It was established in the 13th century, but already people were using the salt from the site 6,000 years ago. Salt deposits in the mine come from over 13 million years ago. The mine is also one of the biggest in the world and it measures over 250 km. I’ve covered only 2 km of it during my three hour visit. In the mine, salt is everywhere: The walls, chambers, chapels, art, and even chandeliers are carved from the mine’s natural resource. Wieliczka salt is dark gray because of impurities in its composition: sandstone, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and other minerals. Still, it’s 90 percent sodium chloride. Although pure white salt has been the norm for over a century, gray salt was once highly valued, making up 20 percent of Poland’s economy during the Middle Ages

Phoebeeeee: The oldest and deepest salt mines in the world, magnificent and beautiful. There is a church inside, the tour guide said that it is amazing to have a wedding inside.

Day 1 | Afternoon

After finishing the tour at Wieliczka Salt Mine, you can head to Wawel Royal Castle, the most worth visiting place around the corner.

Wawel Royal Castle

Opening Hours: Open on Sun,10:00am-4:00pm;Open on Mon-Fri,9:30am-4:00pm

Ticket Price: 15 PLN

Recommended Length of Stay: 1-3 Hours

Location: ul. Wawel 5 Castle, Krakow 31-001, Poland

The Wawel Castle on the Wawel Hill in Krakow is the palace of the Polish emperors. Looking up at Wawel Castle, the red brick walls outside are as neat as the Great Wall, which contrasts with the pink walls and black tiles of the inner city. The existence of dragons can be found on the totems, badges, and rain drains of the eaves of Wawel Castle. The dragon has become the symbol of this city. It is rare that during World War II the whole of Poland was almost razed to the ground, but Krakow was not destroyed. It is also a must-see tourist attraction for tourists.

Andy S.: The Wawel Royal Castle (Zamek Królewski na Wawelu) is a castle residency. It's located in centre of Kraków, Poland. The castle, is one of the largest in Poland and represents nearly all architectural styles of medieval, renaissance and baroque periods. What is interesting, Wawel is the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in the world. 5/5

Kim~ Keep on EXPloring: The Wawel castle, being one of the largest in Poland, represents nearly all European architectural styles of medieval, renaissance and baroque periods.

Opening Hours: Open on Sun,2:00pm-5:45pm;Open on Mon-Sat,11:30am-5:45pm

Ticket Price: 10 PLN

Recommended Length of Stay: 1-2 Hours

The Maria Church in Krakow is one of the most beautiful ancient Gothic buildings in Poland. It is 81 meters high and is a very eye-catching building around the square. It was built in memory of Maria. Maria Church has been the main cathedral in the city for centuries, and the church has the architectural style typical of early Christian churches. The building is constructed of handcrafted red bricks and the main body of the church was completed at the end of the 14th century. The interior decoration, the tower and the top of the church took a whole century to build. The Gothic spire was completed in 1478, and the golden crown on the spire was added in 1666, representing the crown of the then Polish Queen Maria. The tower is also used as a bell tower. There are five giant bells in it, which are equally famous from one to five o'clock on the hour, and the melodious bell can be heard even in the far suburbs. Every hour, the trumpeter on the church bell tower blows the trombone. According to records, it was handed down to commemorate a trumpeter who was loyal to his duties and stood firm in his post in resisting alien invasions in the Middle Ages.

Trip.com User: amazing, represent the polish culture and history. walking around the church is nice specially in the afternoon. must visit.

The palace was built from the 12th century to the 16th century, and about 40 kings were crowned and lived here, and most of them were buried in the adjacent church after death. It was destroyed by fire in the 16th century and was later rebuilt in the Renaissance style. On the first floor, visitors are shown the weapons and armors used by the kings of the past dynasties, as well as the 11th century kings used high-footed gold wine glasses, and the west hall displays oriental treasures. The west hall on the second floor displays the spoils of the Turks captured in the Battle of Vienna in 1683. The king's bedroom in the southeast corner is full of works by famous Italian painters in the 14th and 15th centuries. On the northeast corner, you can enter Queen Jadwiga's "Chickenfoot House", which according to Slovenian folklore has enchanting magic. The third floor displays exquisite gold and silver thread tapestries, including ancient carpets depicting the story of Noah in the 16th century. In the northeast corner, there is an early Baroque living room specially built for Zigman III. The ceiling of the parlor in the northeast corner was originally inlaid with 200 There are several avatars of kings, councilors or knights, and only 30 remain.

On the ground floor of Wawel Castle there are several private residences and guest rooms of the royal family, the four rooms on the south side of the stairs are specially prepared for the guests of the king, with wooden roofs, two of which have preserved the original walls. The doors are both Gothic and Renaissance, and the interior is decorated with Nordic and Italian art. The Gothic room in the northeast corner of the castle is the mysterious Hen’s Foot Tower, and the 16th-century silverware is stored in The ColumnHall. The 18th-century colonnade element makes the room very formal. However, the royal stuff looks very rudimentary, because the better art is already in the museum.
