Golf fans, get ready, because today is the final round of the PGA Tour Masters Tournament. From Apr. 11-14, the biggest golf stars gathered on the green at Augusta National Golf Club, including the defending champ and his newly-donned green jacket, Jon Rahm, Rory Mcllroy, who is looking to get the first grand slam of his career, Scottie Scheffler (who currently leads the tournament ) and Tiger Woods. The PGA Tour Masters Tournament is set to take place Apr. 11-14.

This Sunday, the 2024 Masters will tee off with Holes 4,5 and 6 starting at 10:15 a.m. Third Round coverage will air on CBS starting at 2 p.m. ET.

What channel is the 2024 Masters on?

For US viewers, the Masters tournament will air across a mix of ESPN and CBS. With select coverage streaming on ESPN+ and Paramount+. ESPN will air the first two rounds of the tournament on Thursday and Friday, and CBS will cover the third and final rounds this Saturday and Sunday.

Both ESPN+ and Paramount+ will have early coverage before the ESPN and CBS broadcasts all four days of the tournament, starting at 8:45 a.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10:15 a.m. this weekend. Masters coverage will also stream live on the 2024 Masters website , starting at 8:15 a.m. ET Thursday morning. So if you want to tune in before the televised first round begins on ESPN, that’s your best bet.

How The Eras Tour’s Livestream Queen Perfected Her Craft

If you’ve been on TikTok at all in the past year, you’ve likely seen plenty of grainy, blurry livestreams of Taylor Swift strumming her guitar as part of the Eras Tour acoustic set . Chances are, the account behind the video belonged to Tess Bohne, aka @tessdear , the tour’s very own Livestream Queen.

The 33-year-old went to Night 2 of the Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona, making the trip from her home in Utah. Soon after, she discovered the magic of livestreams, and it wasn’t long until she learned how to run them herself. With over 530,000 followers on TikTok, Bohne’s account has become a go-to for Swifties hoping to watch the Eras Tour in real time. One of her followers summed it up: “You’re really the swiftie mvp .”

Bohne’s page is known as a one-stop shop for anyone hoping to watch the Eras Tour live — she does the work of finding fans who are at the concert IRL, then she consolidates their livestreams as best she can to broadcast for her followers. But Bohne’s system wasn’t always so seamless.

“It's been a learn-as-I-go thing,” she tells Elite Daily. She started out with two iPads and a computer, each playing a different livestream. “If one went down, I'd take the iPad and switch it out.” She added Post-It notes to each device, crediting the creator who was currently streaming.

Things have changed as her following has grown. “Now, I'm on a computer and do a screen capture of the livestream, so my account is showing exactly what the livestream is showing,” Bohne explains. On show nights, she syncs up the clearest video with the best audio and adds in a countdown clock to the surprise songs .

Here, Bohne shares the BTS details of livestreaming the Eras Tour for thousands of Swifties, her favorite surprise songs, and her plans for after the tour wraps up.

Elite Daily: How did you get started livestreaming?

Tess Bohne: The weekend after I went to the concert , I remember hearing that people in Vegas were going to be livestreaming the show. I watched it on YouTube, and I was just as excited watching that as I was at the concert.

I was like, “Wait, you're not supposed to want to watch the concert again.” I always make fun of my husband and his family for rewatching old sports games. You know what's going to happen. You know exactly how this plays out. Why are you watching this again? So I felt a little bit hypocritical doing it, but I loved it.

ED: What specifically drew you in?

TB: I didn't know that there were surprise songs. I just thought she picked two acoustic songs and played them for every single show.

Once I learned the songs would change for every performance, I was invested. But I kept running into the same issue: I would watch the livestream and then it would stop right before the surprise songs, or have bad service or swampy audio.

ED: How did you prevent those technical issues from happening with your livestreams?

TB: At first, I had my phone on a little tripod. I also had two iPads and my laptop — all with different streams running. I had them ready to go, so if one went down, I'd take the iPad and switch it out. I called it the “iPad Shuffle.” Then, I'd write the username of whoever was streaming on a sticky note and put it on the screen.

ED: When did you start showing yourself on camera more?

TB: I don't remember exactly which show it was, but there was a rain delay. I kept the live going, but I went in front of the camera to give people updates. It felt natural, and people were saying, “Oh, I love your outfit,” and, “Oh, you're such a good reporter.” Selfishly, I was thinking, “OK, maybe I can be in front of the camera for part of this.”

Afterwards, my husband helped me make it more official, clean, and professional. That’s when I started going on a few minutes before the show started to talk about potential surprise songs. Then, after the concert, I started doing a post-show recap. People liked feeling like they were watching with a friend.

ED: There’s obviously a lot of work that goes into this behind the scenes. How do you find the fans at each show who will be streaming it?

TB: At first, I would get some streams through @tstourtips on Instagram and @ErasTourLive on Twitter. People would reach out to them to say they were going live. So I would have them ready to go for the show, but 90% of the time the accounts that I had prepared for didn’t end up going live.

On TikTok, you can search certain keywords. So, I started searching for more lives on my iPad while my stream was going on my computer. Sometimes, people would help me out in the chat section, saying who was going live.

Now that I've done around 65 shows, it's a little bit more established. I have a website and a Google Doc where people can tell me if they are intending to stream.

ED: For people who sign up that way, do you talk to them about the stream beforehand?

TB: I make sure to let people know that we've seen this concert lots of times. This is your concert. You make yourself a priority. Only stream if it is going to enhance your experience. I don't want anyone ever feeling like they're obligated to give us part of their experience.

ED: How do you choose which fan livestream to broadcast on your page?

TB: Well, sometimes there’s only one account livestreaming. There have been times when there's a fan streaming outside the stadium, and that's the only live we can find. So I'm like, “This is what we have. It’s good enough.”

Other times, we have multiple to choose from. Then, I'll try to match the best visual with the best audio because we've had floor views before, but next to a screamer. I love a screamer because that means they're having such a fun time, but there are times when you can't hear Taylor. So I might switch that audio out for one where you can hear her more clearly.

ED: Oh, that's so high-tech.

TB: It's been a learning process. In the beginning, I obviously wasn't doing that, but I’m always wondering how I can make it better.

My husband actually suggested that I add little clocks on my screen that count down until the acoustic set, because people kept asking, “How long until surprise songs?”

Afterward, I have a little scrolling bar that says what the surprise songs were, so people don’t have to ask.

There were times when I was going to bed at 5:00 p.m. to wake up at 11:30 p.m. to start streaming at midnight to wrap up at 5:00 a.m.

ED: Does it still feel fun while you're doing it, or does it feel more like a job now?

TB: There are times when it feels like a job, but I've found ways to make it more fun. I have a few backup accounts in case TikTok bans me during a show, and I went live on my backup during one of the South America shows.

Now, I go live on my backup for every show — I call it “The Break Room.” There, people can see what I'm doing behind the scenes. We're reacting to the surprise songs together and discussing the show.

That’s made it a lot more fun, especially during the last leg of the tour when Taylor was performing in the middle of the night my time. There were times when I was going to bed at 5:00 p.m. to wake up at 11:30 p.m. to start streaming at midnight to wrap up at 5:00 p.m. When I feel like I’m going to fall asleep, it’s essential to have people to talk to and keep it more entertaining.

ED: How many viewers do you get, on average, for a livestream?

TB: It depends on the show. On Nov. 26, we were all thinking she might announce Reputation (Taylor’s Version) . At one point, I think there were 328,000 people on my stream at the same time.

TikTok shows you your numbers at the end. You'll see, “You had 2 million viewers throughout the stream.” But that was the highest number of people watching at once.

ED: Are there certain points in the concert when everyone is tuning in?

TB: The numbers always peak during surprise songs. It’s most surprising when it’s an Australian show, where the time difference is huge, and I would still have 150,000 people watching during surprise songs.

ED: Speaking of surprise songs, what has been your personal favorite combo?

TB: The last night in Sydney, she did mashups of “Would've, Could've, Should've” and “Ivy” and “Forever & Always” and “Maroon.” I was just crying.

ED: Is that your favorite show that you've livestreamed, or do you have another?

TB: No, my favorite was the 11/11 show. Travis [Kelce] was there, and it was the first time we got “ Karma is the guy on the Chiefs. ” The streams were easy, no tech issues, we had fantastic views, and it was just exciting all around.

When Travis is there, you feel Taylor's energy change — in the same way that Travis tends to play better when Taylor's there . You could feel that through the stream.

The thought of being shut down scares me.

ED: Has anyone from Taylor's team or the Eras Tour noticed the livestreams or reached out?

TB: No. I almost see it as no interaction is better than the alternative. I feel like I would've been shut down by now if they really didn't like it, but it's almost as if they turned their heads.

The thought of being shut down scares me. I've been afraid of it every single day because doing this has given me a lot. I've found out a lot about myself. I found people who appreciate me.

ED: What's your plan for when the tour wraps up?

TB: I’m trying to figure out what that's going to look like. I hate feeling like what I'm doing here is piggybacking off of Taylor's success, but that's exactly what it is right now.

I still want to do something that I'm good at, but I like being in front of the camera. I also thrive during the stressful times — when a stream is down and I'm quickly pulling up another one. I don't know if I want to do something in production or if I want to try to be an on-screen reporter somehow.

Lombok's Pink Beach Private Tour

After Pulau Pasir than continued to visit  Pink Beach 2  for snorkeling to see the beautiful underwater with coral reef and tropical fishes.

The tour continued to visit  Semangko  beach for snorkeling again, this place is amazing to see the coral life beach. After snorkeling in this place than we crossing by boat back to  Tanjung Luar  harbor, meet our driver and car here to drive back to the hotel. End of the tour.

Scottie Scheffler unstoppable, wins another Masters green jacket

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Scottie Scheffler had no doubts about this Masters, and neither did anyone watching. He pulled ahead with magnificent shots Sunday around the turn and poured it on along the back nine at Augusta National for a 4-under 68 to claim his second green jacket in three years.

Scheffler is simply unstoppable at the moment, and he had help from a faltering cast of contenders to make it look easier than it was.

Much like Tiger Woods, he made the outcome look inevitable with sublime control, the difference being a peach shirt instead of Sunday red, and no fist pumps until it was over.

After sharing hugs with caddie Ted Scott and Collin Morikawa, Scheffler turned to face the crowd with both arms raised. “WOOOOOO!” he yelled, slamming his fist.

He won by three shots in 2022 with a meaningless four-putt on the final hole. He won by four this time, allowing for the most enjoyable uphill climb in golf toward the 18th green.

Masters newcomer Ludvig Åberg of Sweden gave him his stiffest challenge, losing ground with an approach into the water on the 11th hole for a double bogey. Against a player like Scheffler, those mistakes are not easy to overcome.

Åberg closed with a 69 and was the runner-up.

Morikawa, who had two double bogeys to fall out of the hunt, shot 74 and tied for third with Tommy Fleetwood (69) and Max Homa (73), whose hopes ended on the par-3 12th with a double bogey from the bushes, not Rae's Creek.

The 27-year-old Scheffler is the fourth-youngest player to have two green jackets. And he stretches his lead at No. 1 in the world to levels not seen since the prime of Tiger Woods. Scheffler now has three victories against the strongest fields in his last four starts. The other was a runner-up finish in Texas Children's Houston Open.

Scheffler said he was in tears before the final round in 2022 when he had a three-shot lead going for his first major. His wife, Meredith, gave him the assuring words and he sailed to victory. His wife had to watch this one from home in Dallas, where she is expecting the couple's first child at the end of the month.

Scheffler finished at 11-under 277 and earned $3.6 million from the $20 million purse, pushing his season total on the PGA TOUR to over $15 million in just nine tournaments.

Perhaps even more daunting for the rest of golf is that Scheffler still hasn't had a round over par this year. He has 10 victories worldwide dating to his first PGA TOUR title at the WM Phoenix Open in February 2022.

During that stretch, Scheffler has finished in the top 10 a staggering 65% of the time.

While his wife was not in attendance, his two sisters, Sara and Molly, were the first to greet him, followed by his parents and Randy Smith, the only coach he has ever had.

It was the fourth straight Masters when the winner came to the 18th green with one arm in the green jacket. That doesn't mean Sunday was a walk in golf's most gorgeous garden.

Four players had a share of the lead at various points along the front nine, and then Scheffler began to assert himself with three straight birdies around the turn.

He got up-and-down with a 10-foot birdie putt at the par-5 eighth. He hit the perfect wedge that caught the ridge and came inches within going in on No. 9, leaving him a tap-in birdie. And then he holed another 10-foot birdie putt on the 10th to build a two-shot lead.

And then, just like in the best days of Woods, he let everyone else make the big numbers.

In the group ahead, Åberg’s approach to the 11th slammed off the bank and into the water, leading to double bogey.

Homa managed a tough par on the 11th, only to hit it so long over the par-3 12th the golf ball plunged deep into bushes and left him no choice but to take a penalty drop. His chip didn’t reach the green, and two putts later he had double bogey.

Morikawa already had begun to slide by taking two shots to get out of a deep bunker left of the ninth green for double bogey. He all but sealed his fate with a shot into the water on the 11th and took double bogey.

Åberg was the only one who battled back, and Scheffler kept answering with birdies. He hit the 13th green in two and two-putted for birdie. His approach to the 14th hit the slope toward the back and rolled down to a foot from the pin.

His final birdie came from just inside 10 feet on the 16th.

Defending champion Jon Rahm closed with a 76 and tied for 45th, 20 shots behind Scheffler. He was in Butler Cabin to help Scheffler into the green jacket.

Scheffler's tee-to-green play is reminiscent of Woods, though certainly not the emotion, the worldwide appeal or the number of victories.

Scheffler stays in his own little world on the course, which might be just as well. No one is close to him in the game at the moment.

Residents and activists visit the massive 2,800-acre ‘lab’ of cliffs, meadows – and poison.

San Fernando Valley residents and activists had a rare chance to tour the vast Santa Susana Field Lab superfund site on Saturday, April 6, during an onsite workshop explaining the efforts to clean the infamous site’s polluted groundwater.

The massive Santa Susana Field Lab (SSFL) is home to sandstone cliffs, oak woodland, meadows, mountain vistas, cougars, deer and bobcats. It’s also the land where scientists conducted cutting-edge nuclear research and rocket testing between 1949 and 2006 to assist the nation’s most ambitious space programs, including the Mercury flights, the Apollo 11 Moon landing and the Space Shuttle missions.

Those activities left the sprawling 2,800-acre lab’s soil and groundwater tainted with hazardous materials , sparking concerns as r esidential homes and schools sprung up near the once-remote field in the Simi Hills that separate the San Fernando Valley and Simi Valley.

During the hydrogeological tour, dubbed the “Groundwater U Workshop,” visitors were transported between three sites operated by Boeing , NASA, and the Department of Energy, making stops at each to hear presentations about groundwater cleanup efforts .

In Area IV, managed and leased by the Department of Energy from Boeing, Josh Mengers, the site manager of the Energy Technology Engineering Center and project director for the years-long cleanup, told the group of about 75 visitors — including a Los Angeles Daily News team — that contamination seeped into groundwater from the Sodium Disposal Facility. The facility was built to treat waste and has been demolished .

“The main concentrations of TCE that we have found are in the weathered bedrock and that’s where we have been doing interim measures since 2017,” Mengers explained, referring to trichloroethylene, or TCE. “And in these interim measures, we have reduced the concentrations of TCE through pumping — and then shipping off-site for testing and treatment.”

In the past, contamination from the facility was transferred into ponds which eventually seeped into the groundwater, Mengers said.

The presence of TCE is concerning because long-term exposure to the chemical can result in an elevated risk of developing liver and kidney cancer, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“We have reduced the concentrations in the wells that we are treating, from over 10,000 parts per billion, down to 500 parts per billion. So we’re hoping that this is a method that is working,” Mengers said.

While the method of pumping out and then shipping the TCE to a treatment facility has proved to be effective, Mengers said, the goal of his team is to install an automated pumping system using solar power instead of doing it manually.

In January, Boeing began extracting tainted soil from the so-called “burn pit,” a six-acre site where Rocketdyne workers dumped large amounts of radioactive pollutants, chemicals, and explosives into an open pit.

While various research and remediation efforts are underway , such as shipping TCE out of the area for treatment, they are mostly pilot programs. The cleanup of the Santa Susana lab area, which is located north of Bell Canyon, hasn’t started yet .

Boeing scientists told the visitors on Saturday that the company installed more than 500 monitoring wells at the site and in surrounding areas. The company also collected 28,000 groundwater samples, and sampled 65 spots where groundwater emerges to the surface through seeps and springs. The company also built a groundwater extraction treatment system that can pump groundwater from wells at the Santa Susana field and remove chemicals.

At the next stop in the tour, researchers who work in Area II, consisting of 409.5 acres and operated by NASA, told the visitors that their investigation revealed the presence of volatile organic compounds, also known as VOCs, in the shallow bedrock.

NASA is working on a pilot program using vapor extraction to remove chemicals from the bedrock in the Alpha Test Area, where researchers found high concentrations of volatile organic compounds, or VOCs, that include a range of chemicals that may have adverse health effects on humans.

Researchers have been using a system called the Bedrock Vapor Extraction that draws vapors from fractures in bedrock in the groundwater. The system pulls air and vapors through the bedrock and up to the surface. Then the chemicals are captured by a carbon filter and the now-treated air — which NASA says is clean — is released into the atmosphere.

NASA’s Bedrock Vapor Extraction system operates on solar power. It’s portable and can operate in other locations at the Santa Susana field.

“This system is mobile, modular and solar-powered,” said Peter Zorba, a NASA project director at the Santa Susana Field Lab. He stood next to the aging and towering Alpha Test Stand 1 . Constructed in the 1950s, they were home to rocket testing for NASA’s Space Shuttle program and for U.S. Air Force missiles.

NASA scientists began using the Bedrock Vapor Extraction system in February and have removed nearly 1,000 pounds of TCE from the Alpha area since then.

“I’m going to operate here for 18 months and then I’m going to pack it up, I’m going to turn it off, fold it up and then I’ll move it on trailers … to the next site” at the lab, Zorba said.

The Bedrock Vapor Extraction system “cost a premium,” Zorba said, compared to other technologies that are not portable or mobile.

NASA, Boeing and the U.S. Department of Energy are responsible for remediating the Santa Susana according to a 2007 agreement the parties signed that requires them to clean up the ground and the underground to a level at which people could safely live there — and could even grow vegetables.

One of the tour participants, who introduced himself as Kevin, said he used to work as an electrical engineer at Rocketdyne, the former owner of the Santa Susana field, and he visited the site several times for work.

He grew up in Northridge and still remembered the sense of excitement hearing the roaring sound of rocket testing coming from the lab. But he eventually became concerned about contamination that tainted the sprawling field.

He said he became concerned about the cleanup efforts after he heard about community members who lived near the site and whose children had cancer.

“They tell you some nice things today and that’s good and I’m encouraged by that,” he said. “But you have to look at that in terms of what’s the aggregate of the problem? What is the size of the problem? And are these techniques that they’re using viable for making this safe in a reasonable period?”

All visitors, including the Daily News crew, were asked to sign a release of liability and indemnification agreement, saying that “in consideration of the permission granted by the Boeing Co. and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to enter Boeing’s and NASA’s property located in Ventura County, CA (Santa Susana) … I understand that I am responsible for and assume the risk of my own well-being during my time spent on the Santa Susana property, including without limitation the actions or negligence of other persons, or accidents or illness.”

The tour ended in the afternoon.   As visitors headed to the exit, West Hills resident and activist Melissa Bumstead offered visitors a plastic bag filled with instructions on how to properly wash shoes and clothes after visiting the superfund site.

“We are deeply concerned about the contamination,” she said.
