Keep The Faith Tickets
Keep the faith concert tickets.
Get Keep The Faith tickets now to see an amazing performance live by a great entertainer. Pop-Rock music has an emphasis on recording craft and songwriting and not as much emphasis on attitude. Beginning in the 1950s as an alternative to rock and roll, early iterations of pop-rock were influenced by doo-wop and rock-and-roll arrangements and styles. Many traditionalists prefer rock and roll to the more slick, commercial production of pop-rock.
Some refer to the music as power pop with a similar sound and lyrical content. Pop-rock music has been very commercially successful using elements of rock music. Many describe it as an upbeat variety of rock music. The term pop comes from the early twentieth century referring to popular music. In the 1950s, it began to be referred to as a specific genre typically aimed at youth and young adults. It is frequently characterized as a softer alternative to rock and roll. Award-winning Choir The Spirituals Have Announced Their First Live Tour
Award-winning choir The Spirituals have announced their first live tour – in partnership with international development agency Christian Aid
The two are joining forces in a bid to give a voice to vulnerable communities and inspire audiences to take action against poverty and injustice.
The Spirituals were formed in October 2020, by music artist, Junior Garr and arranger/conductor Marsha Morrison, and began by reimagining spiritual anthems to commemorate black history, music and culture.
This month (June) they won Choir of the Year at the Premier Gospel Awards , held at Cadogan Hall, Chelsea.
The London-based choir has so far released three EPs – including a Christmas one, which fuses traditional carols with gospel music – and performed in iconic venues including Lambeth Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral and Wembley Arena, as well as the 2022 Olympics.
They love to create new arrangements from powerful classics, such as Something Inside So Strong, with the aim of highlighting injustice and inspiring people to take action.
Now they are embarking on a UK tour and have joined forces with Christian Aid , the charity which works with local partners in the most vulnerable communities around the globe.
From September, the singers will be on the road, calling in at venues in cities including Birmingham, Nottingham, Cambridge and London.
Co-founder and creative director, Junior said partnering with Christian Aid is a natural fit given their shared values and vision.
He added: “The Spirituals want to make a difference by inspiring, stirring and moving people through music which breaks down barriers. Christian Aid is fighting injustice and poverty through global initiatives, by speaking truth to power to bring about lasting change for people and communities which may otherwise be overlooked.
“We must find a way to foster and fight for justice and equality for disadvantaged individuals everywhere.”
Christian Aid’s Head of Community and Church Fundraising and Engagement Pete Moorey said the tour was an exciting opportunity.
Christian Aid is delighted to partner with the Spirituals and can’t wait for the tour. Music has a way of bringing people together and with this opportunity we can be united with audiences in joy and hope as well as raising vital funds for transformational projects in the most vulnerable communities.
Dates and venues for the tour are still to be announced – for more information, to book tickets, or to express and interest in booking a tour stop, email bookings@rhlondon.org .

Total solar eclipse April 8, 2024 facts: Path, time and the best places to view
In the U.S., 31 million people already live inside the path of totality.
Scroll down to see the list of U.S. cities where the April 8 total solar eclipse will be visible, the duration of the eclipse in those locations and what time totality will begin, according to GreatAmericanEclipse.com .
"Eclipse Across America," will air live Monday, April 8, beginning at 2 p.m. ET on ABC, ABC News Live, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo WILD, Disney+ and Hulu as well as network social media platforms.
On April 8, 2024, a historic total solar eclipse will cast a shadow over parts of the United States, prompting a mass travel event to the path of totality -- from Texas to Maine and several states and cities in between.
A total solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and the Earth and, for a short time, completely blocks the face of the sun, according to NASA .
The track of the moon's shadow across Earth's surface is called the path of totality, and to witness the April 8 total solar eclipse, viewers must be within the 115-mile-wide path. To discover when to see the solar eclipse in totality or the partial eclipse in locations across the U.S. outside of the path, check out NASA's Eclipse Explorer tool .

In the U.S., 31 million people already live inside the path of totality, bringing the celestial phenomenon to their doorsteps, Michael Zeiler, expert solar eclipse cartographer at GreatAmericanEclipse.com told ABC News.

But for individuals outside of the path, investing time and money are needed to experience the event in totality.
Eclipse chasers, or umbraphiles, are individuals who will do almost anything, and travel almost anywhere, to see totality, according to the American Astronomical Society .
"There's a very active community of solar eclipse chasers and we will go to any reasonable lengths to see solar eclipses anywhere in the world," Zeiler said. "All of us are united in pursuing the unimaginable beauty of a total solar eclipse."

Bringing together both eclipse experts and novice sky watchers, the total solar eclipse on April 8 is projected to be the U.S.'s largest mass travel event in 2024, according to Zeiler, who likened it to "50 simultaneous Super Bowls across the nation."
"When you look at the number of people expected to come to the path of totality for the solar eclipse, we estimate those numbers are roughly the equivalent of 50 simultaneous Super Bowls across the nation, from Texas to Maine," he said.
Eclipse map, path of totality
In the U.S., the path of totality begins in Texas and will travel through Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Small parts of Tennessee and Michigan will also experience the total solar eclipse, according to NASA.
Best times, places to view eclipse
Below is a list of some American cities where the April 8 total solar eclipse will be most visible -- pending weather forecasts -- the duration of the eclipse in those locations and what time totality will begin, according to GreatAmericanEclipse.com.

Trump, Biden clash over Transgender Day of Visibility falling on Easter
Trump camp decries ‘assault on the Christian faith’, while White House blasts ‘cruel, hateful, and dishonest rhetoric’.
The camps of United States President Joe Biden and his Republican challenger Donald Trump have clashed over a decision to have a day celebrating transgender people fall on Easter.
Biden on Saturday proclaimed March 31 as Transgender Day of Visibility to “honour the extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans”.

Biden first declared March 31 as Transgender Day of Visibility in 2021, but the date this year coincides with Easter Sunday, one of the holiest days in the Christian calendar.
In a fiery statement on Saturday, the Trump campaign branded Biden’s declaration “appalling” and part of a “years-long assault on the Christian faith”.
“We call on Joe Biden’s failing campaign and White House to issue an apology to the millions of Catholics and Christians across America who believe tomorrow is for one celebration only – the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said.
Republican House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson also took aim at Biden, a practising Catholic, labelling the proclamation “outrageous and abhorrent” as well as a betrayal of the “central tenet” of Easter.
“The American people are taking note,” Johnson said in a statement in X.
White House spokesman Andrew Bates hit back that Republicans were seeking to “divide and weaken our country with cruel, hateful, and dishonest rhetoric”.
“As a Christian who celebrates Easter with family, President Biden stands for bringing people together and upholding the dignity and freedoms of every American,” Bates said in a statement to multiple news outlets.
“President Biden will never abuse his faith for political purposes or for profit,” Bates added, in an apparent reference to Trump urging his supporters to buy ”God Bless the USA” Bibles priced at $59.99.
Elizabeth Alexander, First Lady Jill Biden’s communications director, also said claims that the Biden administration had banned religious symbols at a youth art contest were misleading as past administrations, including Trump’s, used the same standardised nondiscrimination language.
Transgender issues have become a flashpoint in the bitter culture war dividing Democrats and Republicans ahead of November’s presidential race.
Biden has cast himself as a champion of LGBTQ rights as part of a drive for greater fairness and equality.
Trump, meanwhile, has courted conservative Christians who feel alienated by secular liberal culture.
Recognition of trans people in the US varies considerably by state.
Many Democratic-led states allow trans people to declare their preferred gender without the need for surgery or other medical intervention.
Republican-ruled states have passed laws banning gender-affirming treatment for minors and restricting participation in women’s sports to biological females.
