Nickelback is coming to Knoxville (with a six-wheeled van). Here’s how to get tickets

Don’t just look at the photograph; snap a pic and save it to remind you of that time you saw Nickelback, live!

The Canadian rock band is bringing its Get Rollin’ tour to Knoxville. Nickelback will perform Sept. 27 at Thompson-Boling Arena . Tickets go sale 10 a.m. June 13 via Ticketmaster . The presale, which includes VIP packages, begins June 9.

The Knoxville concert was announced Thursday along with a batch of additional dates on the tour to support the band's 2022 album, “Get Rollin’.”

A custom six-wheeled “boogie van” will roll in with the band. The yellow van with a red stripe is inspired by the “Get Rollin’” album cover art, and fans will be able to take photos with the van.

Reaching fame in the 2000s, Nickelback is known for hit singles including “Photograph,” "How You Remind Me,” “Rockstar,” and “Someday.” The band is fronted by guitarist and lead vocalist Chad Kroeger and features guitarist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger and drummer Daniel Adair.

Country musicians Brantley Gilbert and Josh Ross also are scheduled to perform at the Knoxville concert.

Nickelback Add Dates to 2023 Tour

The band will stretch their North American run into the fall

Nickelback are extending their North American tour into the fall. The band has added several shows to their 2023 itinerary on Thursday, with new stops in New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas, Ohio, North Dakota, and more. Check out the full list of dates below.

Tickets will be available starting with an artist pre-sale this Friday, June 9 at 10am. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the weekend. General go on sale next Tuesday, June 13 at 10am at  livenation.com . Tickets for all previously announced shows are on sale now. After warming up with a few  club shows  last November, Nickelback are gearing up for a monster North American run. The Get Rollin’ Tour kicks off on June 12 at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City, QC. Very special guest for the trek will be country rocker Brantley Gilbert, along with Josh Ross.

Nickelback’s tenth studio album  Get Rollin’  arrived on November 18. It available now  HERE  via CD, deluxe CD, orange vinyl, limited edition D2C exclusive blue marble vinyl, and digital download. Nickelback Add 16 New Dates to Extend 2023 North American Tour

Nickelback already had a pretty stacked North American tour set to take them through the U.S. and Canada this summer, but they've just added 16 new stops that will keep the good times rollin' into the fall.

The group noticed the demand while they're supporting their first new album in five years and decided to add on a wealth of new dates, extending their North American touring to hitting 53 markets. The new batch of dates pick right up where the end of their initial run left off, with the band playing Camden, New Jersey on Aug. 29, two days after what was scheduled to be the tour end Aug. 27 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The new batch of dates extend through to an Oct. 5 finale in Fargo, North Dakota. You can see all of the dates listed below.

Support acts Brantley Gilbert, Josh Ross and Austin Snell will all take turns playing alongside Nickelback on the new shows. Tickets for the run will be available starting tomorrow (June 9) with an artist pre-sale that kicks off at 10AM local time. Additional pre-sales will follow through the weekend, with the general public on-sale date set for this coming Tuesday (June 13) at 10AM local time via LiveNation .

NICKELBACK 's history dates back to 1995 in Hanna, Alberta, where they got their start playing covers in a band called VILLAGE IDIOT , a nod to the small-town nature where they played and grew up. In 1996, Chad , alongside Ryan Peake , made the 10-hour trek west to follow Mike to Vancouver, British Columbia, where the band still resides and continues to make music today.

The band's numerous smash hits, coupled with worldwide sales of over 50 million albums sold, seals their status as one of the top-selling acts of all time and the second best-selling foreign act of the 2000s in the U.S., behind only THE BEATLES . The wildly popular smash hit "How You Remind Me" was named Billboard 's "Top Rock Song Of The Decade", which was a contributing factor in the publication's decision to crown NICKELBACK "Top Rock Group Of The Decade" shortly after.

Beyond their Juno Awards , the group has received nine Grammy Award nominations, three American Music Awards , a World Music Award , a People's Choice Award and seven MuchMusic Video Awards . They were inducted into Canada's Walk Of Fame in 2007.

Nickelback announces North American tour for this summer

(Gray News) – Fans of Nickelback will have a chance to see them live this summer.

The Canadian rock band announced the Get Rollin’ tour on their Twitter page Monday, saying they were bringing their music to a city “kind of near you.”

The tour kicks off in Quebec City, Canada, on June 12 before heading south to the United States and wrapping up in Belmont Park, New York, on Aug. 30.

The band released their 10th studio and most recent album “Get Rollin’” in November 2022.

In a video promoting their upcoming “Get Rollin’ Tour,” the Canadian rockers go behind the scenes to reveal they’re the deep voices behind the epic tour announcement.

“Was that good?” lead singer Chad Kroeger asks his bandmates.

And with that, the group, that has been the butt of music snob’s jokes and memes for years, shows they have a smirking sense of humor too.

Will they bring that tongue in cheek attitude on the road with them?

Nickelback 2023 tour schedule

Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger and Daniel Adair launch their North American 38-concert “Get Rollin'” tour at Quebec City’s Videotron Centre on June 12.

From there, the quartet have arena and amphitheater concerts mapped out in Vancouver (June 28), Salt Lake City (July 6), Las Vegas (July 15), Nashville (Aug. 1) and Milwaukee (Aug. 5).

The run concludes on Aug. 30 at Elmont’s UBS Arena .

Shows won’t start with the headliners taking the stage on this tour.

No, country rockers Brantley Gilbert and Josh Ross will serve as special guests at each and every concert.

Here’s a quick primer on each of the support acts you’ll see if you arrive on time.

Brantley Gilbert , a Jefferson, GA native, is known for his slick country sound. It’s very possible you’ve already seen him on tour before too. Over the past decade, he’s opened for Kid Rock, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson and Luke Combs. Want to check out his music? Things get heavy on Nickelback’s most recent record, “Get Rollin’.”

Right off the bat, it sounds as if the group has pivoted to full-on hard rock with their latest offering as evidenced by the almost metal opening track “San Quentin.”

On track two, Nickelback maintains that energy and brings the guitar solos, menacing vocals and thumping drums to the catchy “Skinny Little Missy.”

From there, the rockers return to their pop radio friendly roots with the friendlier ditty “Those Days” and “High Time.”

Tailgates and Tallboys Festival

From June 14-17, Nickelback has been tapped to headline the annual Tailgates and Tallboys Festival in Bloomington, IL.

The star-studded affair will also bring major country stars like Kane Brown, Parker McCollum, Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson as well as to the festival grounds for the four-day extravaganza.
