Tedeschi Trucks Band Bring Summer 2023 Headlining Tour with special guest Ziggy Marley to Meadow Brook Amphitheatre Friday, July 14

(DETROIT – February 17, 2023) –The Grammy® Award-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band today announced a run of summer tour dates across the US that includes a visit to Meadow Brook Amphitheatre on the campus of Oakland University on Friday, July 14 at 7 p.m. Oakland University Credit Union is the exclusive presenting partner of Meadow Brook Amphitheatre.

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 24 at 10 a.m. at 313Presents.com , LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com . The TTB Fan Club Presale will begin Tuesday, February 21 at 10 a.m. local time with an Artist Presale beginning Wednesday, February 22 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans are encouraged to visit www.tedeschitrucksband.com/tour for more information and to purchase tickets.

The tour will kick off with homecoming shows in Jacksonville, FL on June 22 at Daily’s Place and a two-night stop in Atlanta, GA at the famed Fox Theatre. This year's run will bring the band to 20 cities, including some new summer additions like Toronto and Kansas City, and returns to Indianapolis, St. Louis, among others. Newly announced dates add to the multi-night performances at Wolf Trap (June 27, 28) and Red Rocks Amphitheatre (July 28, 29 – the tour’s closing shows) that are on sale now.

Also new this year will be a single support act each night, allowing TTB to play longer sets. Country and blues singer/songwriter Vincent Neil Emerson will support the tour’s first few dates and return in late July for the final five stops – and legendary musician, producer and activist, Ziggy Marley will support all dates in between. Fans can expect the same musically collaborative, family friendly atmosphere at some of the country’s best venues that have made TTB a highlight of the summer season – with more time for the band to dig deeper into their 100+-song catalog.

Led by the husband/wife duo of guitarist Derek Trucks and singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi - hailed as “two of the best roots rock musicians of their generation” (NPR), the 12-piece group is known globally for their unmistakable sound and world class musicianship that seamlessly blends distinctive genres of American music.

Since forming in 2010, TTB’s caravan has traveled countless miles to bring their music to audiences around the world. With a large catalog that spans rock, blues, jazz and even country, no setlist is ever the same, leaving their ever-growing fan base of all-ages returning again and again for electrifying performances. From sold-out multi-night residencies across America to tours through Europe and Japan to their flagship annual summer amphitheater tours, the band's shows are an eagerly anticipated highlight of the live music calendar and “nothing short of exhilarating” (Salon). Tedeschi Trucks Band continue to tour in support of I Am The Moon, their acclaimed fifth studio project which “explodes with joyful, powerful and positive music” (Guitar Player) and is “a wild creative outburst” (New York Times). Written while off the road during the pandemic, I Am The Moon finds them “at their finest and most adventurous” (NPR) and captures a prolific and collaborative songwriting period for TTB that was inspired by an ancient poem of star-crossed lovers. I Am The Moon includes four albums released over the summer of 2022.

Ziggy Marley is an eight-time GRAMMY winner, Emmy winner, musician, producer, activist, and humanitarian who has cultivated a legendary career for close to 40 years.

The eldest son of Bob and Rita Marley, Ziggy has hewed his own path as a musical pioneer, infusing the reggae genre with funk, blues, rock, and other elements through mindful songcraft. Equal parts master storyteller and motivational guide, he deftly explores issues from environmental awareness to self-empowerment, social injustice to political inequity, while returning again and again to the transformative power of love.

And over the past 15 years with his own companies, Tuff Gong Worldwide and Ishti Music, Marley has complete control of his masters and publishing; alongside his charity URGE – benefiting the well-being of children in Jamaica, Africa, and North America.

Stephen Marley

Stephen “Ragga” Marley is a world-renowned singer, songwriter, and producer whose work has earned no fewer than eight GRAMMY Awards.

Born into a musical family, Stephen is the child of reggae legends Bob Marley and Rita Marley. He began singing professionally at six, touring the world with his elder siblings Ziggy, Sharon, and Cedella in The Melody Makers. In 2008, he released his first solo album, “Mind Control,” which won the GRAMMY Award for Best Reggae Album. His subsequent solo albums include “Mind Control Acoustic,” “Revelation Part I: The Root of Life,” and “Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life.”

Stephen’s first new full-length album in more than seven years, “Old Soul,” was released on September 15 via Tuff Gong Collective/UMe/Ghetto Youths International. The new album is a departure from his previous Reggae repertoire, showcasing more of his bluesy, acoustic soul side, as evidenced by the first single, “Old Soul.” Stephen is also an acclaimed producer, working closely with his brother Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley on the massive crossover hit “Welcome To Jamrock.”

In addition, Stephen continues to champion charitable endeavors centered in Jamaica as a co-founder of the Ghetto Youths Foundation, along with his brothers Damian and Julian Marley.  In 2017, Stephen established Kaya Fest, the annual music festival, which features special guests and rare family performances, all with the larger purpose of raising awareness around the benefits of cannabis, guided by the mantra “Education Before Recreation.”

Julian Marley

Julian Marley, born in London, England, on June 4, 1975, to Bob Marley and Lucy Pounder, embraced a musical upbringing, mastering various instruments as a self-taught musician.

Mentored by reggae greats in Jamaica, he released his debut album, “Lion in the Morning,” in 1996, followed by international tours. He contributed to Lauryn Hill’s GRAMMY-winning album and collaborated on a Stevie Wonder tribute. His sophomore album, “A Time and Place,” showcased a fusion of reggae and jazz. Julian spearheaded the “Africa Unite” performances and performed at the 2008 Olympic Games. His GRAMMY-nominated album “Awake” in 2009 garnered acclaim, winning Best Album of the Year at the IRAWMAs.

Julian, deeply rooted in Rastafarianism like his father, remains committed to spiritual and global messages in his music, embodying a conscious movement in reggae.

Ky-Mani Marley

Ky-Mani Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley and Anita Belnavis, is a GRAMMY-nominated artist who burst onto the scene with his 1996 debut album “Like Father Like Son,” blending reggae with hip-hop.

Born in Falmouth, Jamaica, he has a diverse discography including “Many More Roads” (2001), “Maestro” (2015), and a collaboration with Gentleman titled “Conversations.”

Beyond music, Ky-Mani has showcased his acting skills in films like “Shottas” (2002) and “One Love” (2003). With his soulful voice and powerful lyrics, he upholds the Marley legacy while forging his own distinctive path in entertainment.

Damian Marley

Multi-GRAMMY-winning talent, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley is a highly acclaimed Jamaican singer, songwriter, and producer. He is the youngest son of the revered legend Bob Marley. His musical style fuses reggae with elements of dancehall, hip-hop, R&B, and rock, crafting a fresh and modern sound that is uniquely his own.

Damian was the first ever Reggae artist to win a GRAMMY Award outside of the reggae category. The acclaimed 2005 breakthrough disc, “Welcome To Jamrock,” won a GRAMMY Award for Best Reggae Album, with the New York Times naming the track “the best reggae song of the decade.”

In 2010, Marley teamed up with Nas and brother Stephen Marley for his “Distant Relatives” project, and went on to partner with Skrillex for their groundbreaking track “Make It Bun Dem,” which Rolling Stone called “a monster mash-up of dubstep and dancehall” and went platinum with over one million copies sold in the United States alone.

Following the track’s success, the reggae superstar released his fourth studio album, “Stony Hill,” resulting in his third GRAMMY Award for Best Reggae Album. In September of 2022, Marley produced the studio album “The Kalling” for Kabaka Pyramid which won Best Reggae Album at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

Most recently, “Jr. Gong” released his rendition of the famed George Harrison track “My Sweet Lord.” The track got the stamp of approval by George’s beloved wife, Olivia, as well as the George Harrison Estate.

Damian is the co-founder of the renowned Welcome To Jamrock Reggae Cruise.

Five of late reggae icon Bob Marley ‘s musical scions announced their first joint tour in nearly 20 years on Monday (April 15), an outing they’re calling The Marley Brothers: The Legacy Tour.

Teaming up for their first extended run of joint dates since 2007, brothers Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Ky-Mani and Damian will celebrate their beloved father’s music and legacy on the outing that a release promised would feature both their individual hits and classic Bob Marley songs.

April 20 will mark an expansion of screenings of the biopic Bob Marley: One Love , while the 40th anniversary of the “Could You Be Loved” singer’s landmark 1984 greatest-hits compilation Legend will be celebrated next month; in addition, 2025 marks what would have been Marley’s 80th birthday.

Tickets for the tour will start with pre-sales kicking off Tuesday (April 16), including a Citi presale beginning at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday (April 18) at 10 p.m. local time here . A general on-sale will kick off Friday (April 19) at 10 a.m. local time with information available here .

The Marley Brothers – Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Ky- Mani and Damian – announce The Marley Brothers: The Legacy Tour, their 22-date run which historically marks their first outing together in two decades. The tour will include a stop in Cincinnati, OH for a performance at Riverbend Music Center on Wednesday, September 18.

Bob Marley's music endures as a beacon of strength, hope, and unity, attracting a growing global fanbase. For over three decades, his sons have each established themselves as renowned solo artists and collectively boast an impressive count of 22 GRAMMY® Awards, with Julian securing 2024's win for "Best Reggae Album.”

Now reunited on The Marley Brothers: The Legacy Tour, they'll honor their father's worldwide impact by performing both individual hits and classic Bob Marley songs during a momentous year for the genre. About Stephen Marley

He began singing professionally at 6, touring the world with his elder siblings Ziggy, Sharon, and Cedella in The Melody Makers. In 2008, he released his first solo album, Mind Control, which won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. His subsequent solo albums include Mind Control Acoustic, Revelation Part I: The Root of Life, and Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life. Stephen’s first new full-length album in more than seven years, Old Soul, was released on September 15 via Tuff Gong Collective/UMe/Ghetto Youths International. The new album is a departure from his previous Reggae repertoire, showcasing more of his bluesy, acoustic soul side, as evidenced by the first single, “Old Soul.” Stephen is also an acclaimed producer, working closely with his brother Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley on the massive crossover hit Welcome To Jamrock. Julian Marley, born in London, England on June 4, 1975, to Bob Marley and Lucy Pounder, embraced a musical upbringing, mastering various instruments as a self-taught musician. Mentored by reggae greats in Jamaica, he released his debut album "Lion in the Morning" in 1996, followed by international tours. He contributed to Lauryn Hill's Grammy-winning album and collaborated on a Stevie Wonder tribute. His sophomore album, "A Time and Place," showcased a fusion of reggae and jazz. Julian spearheaded the 'Africa Unite' performances and performed at the 2008 Olympic Games. His Grammy-nominated album "Awake" in 2009 garnered acclaim, winning 'Best Album of the Year' at the IRAWMAs. Julian, deeply rooted in Rastafarianism like his father, remains committed to spiritual and global messages in his music, embodying a conscious movement in reggae.

About Ky-Mani Marley

Ky-Mani Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley and Anita Belnavis, is a Grammy-nominated artist who burst onto the scene with his 1996 debut album "Like Father Like Son," blending reggae with hip-hop. Born in Falmouth, Jamaica, he has a diverse discography including "Many More Roads" (2001), "Maestro" (2015), and a collaboration with Gentleman titled "Conversations." Beyond music,

Ky-Mani has showcased his acting skills in films like "Shottas" (2002) and "One Love" (2003). With his soulful voice and powerful lyrics, he upholds the Marley legacy while forging his own distinctive path in entertainment.

About Damian Marley

Multi-Grammy winning talent, Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley is a highly acclaimed Jamaican singer, songwriter and producer. He is the youngest son of the revered legend, Bob Marley. His musical style fuses reggae with elements of dancehall, hip-hop, R&B, and rock, crafting a fresh and modern sound that is uniquely his own. Damian was the first ever Reggae artist to win a GRAMMY AWARD® outside of the Reggae category. CLARKSON, MI - Get ready for a night of Reggae in Michigan with the Marley Brothers. Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Ky-Mani and Damian will pay tribute to their father, Bob Marley, on tour this year.

The 22-date, “The Marley Brothers: The Legacy Tour,” heads to Pine Knob in Clarkston on Thursday, September 19. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m.

Marley’s sons have 22 Grammy Awards between them with Julian winning the most recent one in 2024 for Best Reggae Album.

Now reunited, the Marley Brothers will honor their father by performing both individual and classic Bob Marley songs on this tour.

Lettuce Announces New Tour Dates in 2024: How To Get Tickets

Lettuce has not been messing around this year when it comes to touring. The R&B funk band just announced even more tour dates in 2024, including a new date with reggae legend Ziggy Marley ! The new tour dates will span New York, California, Colorado, Arizona, and more. If you weren’t close enough to their previously announced tour dates, you might have some luck seeing them live on one of these new dates!

The next stop on the Lettuce 2024 Tour will be on April 27 in San Fransisco, California at Miner Auditorium. The first of the newly announced tour dates will be July 5 in LaFayette, New York at Biscoland. The new final date for the tour will be September 29 in Brooklyn, New York at Brooklyn Bowl.

Tickets to the previously announced tour dates are currently available for general sale through Lettuce’s website . For the new dates, fans can sign up for the artist presale event through the band’s website today through April 18 at 10:00 pm local. There are also a few presale events available on Ticketmaster at the moment.

Public on-sale for this tour will start on April 19 at 10:00 am local. If your selected tour date has already sold out, pop over to Stubhub to see if there are some lingering tickets there. You might just get lucky and find even cheaper tickets!

The Marley Brothers Announce North American Tour in 2024

T he Marley Brothers are back in action with a North American tour this fall! The famed reggae group, which is made up of several of reggae legend Bob Marley’s sons, will travel across the US and Canada for a pretty hefty lineup of shows. It doesn’t look like there will be any openers or supporting acts for The Legacy Tour, but the high-energy group really doesn’t need anyone to hype up a crowd for them.

The Marley Brothers 2024 Tour will kick off on September 5 in Vancouver, British Columbia at Festival Lawn at Deer Lake Park. The tour will close on October 5 in Miami, Florida at FPL Solar Amphitheatre.

Fans can get their hands on tickets early through a few different presale events on Ticketmaster starting April 16 at 10:00 am local. VIP packages are also available.

Public on-sale starts on April 19 at 10:00 am local. If you can’t find tickets after the presale event ends, try Stubhub . It’s a great spot to score last-minute tickets, especially if your concert of choice is sold out.

Marley Brothers To Celebrate Bob Marley In 2024 ‘Legacy Tour’

The Marley brothers are coming together for a North American tour that will honor the legacy of their late father, Bob Marley.

On Monday, April 15, five of Marley’s sons announced the “The Marley Brothers: The Legacy Tour,” the family’s first joint tour in nearly 20 years, Billboard reports. Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Ky-Mani, and Damian will unite on stage for the first time since 2007 to perform a string of their individual hits combined with classics from Bob Marley’s timeless catalog.

The Live Nation-promoted tour includes 22 dates across North America, beginning September 5 at the Festival Lawn at Deer Lake Park in Vancouver before hitting Toronto, Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix, Cincinnati and more. The last show is scheduled for October 5 at Miami’s FPL Solar Amphitheatre.

The tour announcement comes ahead of extended showings of the Bob Marley: One Love biopic beginning April 20 and one month before the 40th anniversary of Marley’s 1984 greatest-hits compilation, Legend . The biopic was a box office smash, making $146 million in profit, one of the top-earning musical biopics in the nation’s history.

Tickets for the tour dropped April 16, including a Citi presale option at 10 a.m . local time through Thursday (April 18) at 10 p.m. General tickets go on sale Friday (April 19) at 10 a.m. local time.
