ICON Vehicle Dynamics Ford Excursion 3" Suspension System. Fits 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 Excursion 4x4 models only. Will NOT fit 2wd models. ICON starts with laser cut pieces to ensure a precise fit and finishes up with some of the prettiest and strongest welds you'll ever see in a production lift kit. This is NOT a cheap mass production kit made overseas. This product is MADE IN THE USA and you pay more and you get more when you buy Icon Vehicle Dynamics products, simple as that. Yes, this lift kit is super strong and it rides great... but the real beauty of the Icon 43000-99 3" lift spring hanger and shackle kit is it allows the stock front leaf springs to be reused and makes for a super easy installation. The best feature is this kit provides increased suspension travel and better shock absorbers which allow this kit to ride better than stock!

Ford Excursion owners wanting to level their SUV generally run the 3" front lift in the front and a 2" lift for the rear. Excursion SUV's do not sit as low in the front compared to the F-250 and F-350 trucks. PerformanceLifts.com recommends all customers measure the difference in front to rear height to determine the correct rear block kit as Excursion heights do vary. If you want to lift your vehicle and retain the factory look, (higher in the rear) a taller rear block kit will be required. This Icon Vehicle Dynamics Excursion 3" lift system comes complete with BULLETPROOF spring hanger brackets and replacement front shackles. With no change in spring rate and the optional Bilstein 5100 or Icon V.S. Signature series shock absorbers, the ride quality cannot be beat. This Icon system is very plush and extremely drivable in the corners and maintains the factory tow ratings. The Icon V.S. Signature series shock is the best riding shock we offer for this lift, slightly better than the Bilstein but more expensive as Icon produces their V.S. series shock absorbers in-house. The Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorber has a Limited Lifetime Warranty whereas the Icon V.S. Shock warranty is only 90 days. All required hardware and fasteners necessary to install this kit are included, as are detailed instructions.

Optional Items: An adjustable pan rod bar is available for 2000-2005 4x4 Excursion vehicles and is highly recommended. The adjustable pan rod bar allows you to easily adjust the position of the front axle under the vehicle and get it properly centered beneath the frame rails. The ICON Adjustable Pan Rod Bar # 39290 is considered a necessity by PerformanceLifts.com and ICON Vehicle Dynamics.

This 3" lift kit fits 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 model year 4x4 Excursion only and works with all power and drivetrain configurations, including the 7.3L and 6.0L PowerStroke Diesels, as well as those equipped with the 5.4L V8 and 6.8L V10 Triton gas motors. This 4.5" system is designed to lift your Ford Excursion 4.5" in front to provide room for 35” tires. This system drops your stock springs 4.5", which allows for 4.5" of lift while maintaining the stock spring rate. This system comes with a 1.75" bump stop spacer to prevent spring fatigue during the suspension cycle. Also included in this kit is 5” rear block kit, with 17” U-bolts for a leveled stance. This system is the ideal for all Excursion’s.

We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Moscow has a long and interesting history and has been the capital of Russia in many of its different iterations – capital of the Grand Duchy of Moscow , the Russian Empire and of course the Soviet Union (who could ever forget the Soviet Union?). Moscow, was founded in the 12th century by Prince Yuri Dolgaruki (Yuri of the long arms – he really did have long arms!). From that time on, it was home to the Russian Tsars until Peter the Great moved the capital to St. Petersburg in 1703. What is the best time to visit moscow.

How many days are enough in Moscow?

If you plan your itinerary strategically and aren’t averse to a packed schedule, you can cover Moscow’s main sights over a long weekend. Most popular attractions are in the city centre, and the Moscow Metro allows you to cover much ground in a small amount of time. Ensure that your accommodation is fairly central and book tickets in advance, so that you can make the most of your days. Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. Welcome to Russia, where everything and anything is possible—especially riding on a tank, shooting an AK-47 and a bazooka, all while drinking vodka.

At Put-in tours, we have put together the ultimate excursion for men (and their girlfriends). Join us in our Soviet van for an entire afternoon of all-inclusive Russian fun on the battlefield!

Start by visiting Park Patriot, the impressive Russian army exhibition center and museum. There, try your driving skills at the T-80 tank official simulator ,  before you ride on two iconic Soviet armored vehicles (BMP-1 and/or BTR-80) on an off-road training path. Along the way, hone your skills while a drill sergeant shouts commands at you. You may not understand, but impress him anyway with your grenade launching technique and AK-47 assembling speed. Or suffer the consequences.

After that, take another shot of vodka , enjoy the army field lunch provided, and move on to the next activity…

Honey, I shot a bazooka!

Phase two brings a variety of iconic Russian war weapons to the tip of your trigger finger. Learn about and test the Makarov PM, PPSH-41, Kalashnikov AK-47, RPK, DP28 machine gun, several semi-auto or auto carbines and more… Firing off a bazooka is the grand finale, sure to leave you breathless—just before you send the photos to your mom.

To prevent you from inadvertently blowing up your best friend or transforming your girlfriend into a strainer, we only use non-lethal (but real!) ammo.
