Jewel and Melissa Etheridge Announce Co-Headlining Tour 2024: Upcoming Dates and How to Buy Tickets

Singer-songwriter icons Jewel and Melissa Etheridge have announced a co-headlining North American tour for 2024, giving fans two incredible reasons to plan for a night out. They’ll be beginning their tour in Bonner, Montana in July before wrapping up in Rogers, Arkansas in early October.

The duo has more awards than we can count, including a staggering 19 Grammy award nominations. They also have multiple Billboard Music Awards, American Country Awards, and even Blockbuster Entertainment Awards.

Jewel (born May 23, 1974) is the stage and recording name of Jewel Kilcher, a Grammy-nominated American folk-pop singer-songwriter and guitarist hailing from Payson, Utah, U.S.

Kilcher was rasied in Homer, Alaska, U.S. and got her first taste of performing music, singing in bars alongside her father to earn money. At age 16 Kilcher began studying at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlohen, Michigan, U.S., and learned to play the guitar and compose her own songs. After moving to San Diego, California to be with her mother, an A&R representative heard the singer play at the coffee shop where Kilcher was a Barista, which subsequently led to Atlantic Records signing Jewel.

“Pieces of You”, Jewel’s debut album was released in 1995 and was an immediate hit. Aided by the gentle hit singles “Who Will Save Your Soul”, “You Were Meant for Me”, and “Foolish Games”, and an extensivee touring schedule, the album was later certified as a 12-times multi-platinum album. This success afforded Jewel the creative freedom rarely seen with 22 year old, and the singer turned her focus towards poetry and released the collection of poems “Night Without Armor”. After performing the national anthem at the 1998 Super Bowl XXXII, Jewel released her sophomore album “Spirit” towards the tail-end of 1998. With a more pop-orientation, “Spirit” may have deterred a number of the signer’s original fans however still peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, largely aided by the single “Hands”.

A year later Jewels released the Christmas-themed album “Joy: A Holiday Collection”, with the song “Joy to the World” released as a single. Once again breaking the Billboard 200 Top 10, Jewel’s third album ”This Way” was issued in November 2001. The album spawned the singles “Standing Still”, “Break Me”, “This Way”, and the club hit “Serve the Ego”. With even greater pop sensibilities the album “0304” was released in 2003 led by the single “Intuition”.

Noticing her declining appeal, Jewel’s sixth studio album “Goodbye Alice in Wonderland” returned the singer to her earlier warm and sweet-sounding approach, however marked the end of Jewel’s tenure with Atlantic Records. After recording a duet with country music star Jason Michael Carrol entitled “No Good in Goodbye”, Jewel expressed an interest in pursuing a country-music career and later signed with the independent Valory Records in 2007. Utilising the singer’s tumultuous childhood, Jewel’s debut country album “Perfectly Clear” was released in January 2008. The record topped the Billboard Country Album chart aided by the singles “Stronger Woman”, “I Do”, and “Till It Feels Like Cheating”.

In 2009 an album of lullabies arrives entitled “Lullaby” featuring a cover of the popular song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. Jewel’s ninth studio album “Sweet and Wild” was issued in June 2010 led by the single “Satisfied”. The follow-up to “Lullaby”, “The Merry Goes ‘Round” was released in 2011, followed by a best-of compilation “Greatest Hits” in 2013, and her second Christmas album “Let It Snow: A Holiday Collection” also in 2013.

Remember the first time you saw Jewel dressed in jeans and a white tank playing her guitar on the floor in the ‘You Were Meant For Me’ video or the time she was just singing inside a public bathroom in the visual for ‘Who Will Save Your Soul’?

Since the early 1990s, Jewel has been giving us melodic songs with thought-out lyrics and her signature yodeling vocals. From the time she was still writing the folk pop songs in the back of her car to the country tinged tracks she’s rolling out now, this singer, songwriter, poet and actress has proved that it doesn’t matter what kind of music you play. If it’s good, people will listen. Not only has she released eight full-length albums and released 28 singles, Jewel has also contributed to seven soundtracks and acted in four films that included playing June Carter in the 2012 made-for-tv movie ‘Ring of Fire.’

But she isn’t only strong in front of the camera, she can also put on a show onstage. Her vocal range is on point and proves she can sing anything. And the moment she decided to switch into country, her pop and folk experience helped her produce music that could reach a wider audience. From the melodies to the lyrics, Jewel has proven that she can reach the masses and connect with those listening to her.

Everything about this concert was ideal from the cozy, intimate venue to artist's performance. The wait staff showed the perfect amount of attention: not too much where they were annoying and not too little where it appeared they didn't care.

Chance McCoy was a phenomenal opening act, especially given that he had never played with the band professionally prior. And Jewel, well, she was Jewel. You expect a fantastic show and she delivered!

My wife has been a Jewel admirer for many years, I took her to the concert as a birthday present, she loved it and so did I, to be honest this was my very first concert ever. I have listened to Jewel before on cds but been there and actually listen to her live was an experience that surpassed all my expectations, I was touched by her story and by her having her father and brothers sharing the stage, she is absolutely stunning!

I really enjoyed myself at the show. I love Jewel's angelic voice and she's definitely an inspiration. the show experience felt like I was at a private listening session. I'll definitely be attending more of her concerts. Jewel's presence on stage is amazing and she gives fans a piece of her soul every time she sings one of her songs.

First and only concert I’ve gone to. My sister won tickets two through radio station in NC. She knew I loved her music!!! So me and a co worker went. Lawn seats! Loved it!!! She’s original, it was relaxed, not crowded stressful. I don’t care for large groups. But! Made sure left earlier to beat non drivers out of raleigh lol!

Her Christmas special tour was awesome. her family is very talented. Dad and brothers did an awesome warm up. it was great hearing Jewel talk about her childhood and growing up, and her struggles on leaving home at such a young age and keeping her dream going and forgiving her Dad and having a good relationship with her Dad now.

Jewel is AMAZING live. Not only is she an amazing singer, but she explains the songs she sings and keeps the audience captivated the entire show. I'm so happy to have finally seen my favorite musical artist; I'd only been waiting since 95 (when I was 5). Do not miss an opportunity to see/hear her live! <3.

Amazing, spectacular, fantastic, inspiring, incredible, honest, beautiful, stunning, funny, genuine, entertaining... I could go on and on. If you are thinking about going to see Jewel live, don't ponder it any further. Go!!!

Jewell has an amazing voice. The show was over two hours and she sang a wide range of songs from Christmas to hers to having her family sing. I did not realize she could carry a tune like she did and sing with such grace.

During the walking tour, there will be a complimentary admission to the Level 5 Canopy Park during the guided walkthrough. However, ticketing fees ( https://www.jewelchangiairport.com/en/ticketing.html ) would still apply for the individual attractions within the Canopy Park, and Changi Experience Studio. There will be an exclusive discount for FST participants.

There are some stair-climbing and travelling on escalators involved. For your convenience, we would advise the usage of a baby carrier on this walking tour instead.

Run the Jewels Announce RTJX 10th Anniversary Tour Featuring Performances of All 4 Albums

El-P and Killer Mike promise to play “four full albums worth of jams, many we have only performed a small handful of times during our whole existence.”

In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of their self-titled debut album, Run the Jewels will hit the road for a four-city, 16-show tour going by the name of RTJX: Celebrating 10 Years of Run the Jewels. 

Kicking off Sept. 13, the tour will feature four shows apiece in L.A., Chicago, EI-P ’s hometown of New York City, and Killer Mike ’s own Atlanta. According to a press release, the duo will perform “a different set each night spanning the band’s full discography, bolstered by a plethora of special guests and surprises along the way.”

“It’s mind blowing to us that it’s been 10 years since we joined forces as RTJ,” Killer Mike and El-P said in a statement. “The best way we can think to celebrate is to get the whole family together and do what we love for the people who love us back. It’s going to be amazing, just like this entire ride has been, and we are grateful to get a chance to celebrate with our Jewel Runners this year and finally get back into clubs to destroy some stages for you.”

They continued, “We’re doing four cities, four nights each, and four full albums worth of jams, many we have only performed a small handful of times during our whole existence. So on night one it’s RTJ1 in full, plus many more songs from the other records; night two it’s RTJ2 …etc. etc. We can’t wait to get out there and see you.”

'Tis the Season to Give Back: Jewel Announces Her Charitable and Interactive Handmade Holiday Tour

The Handmade Holiday Tour kicks off Nov. 24 in Las Vegas and extends through the end of the year

This is not a foolish game — Jewel is coming back to a stage near you!

The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter is hitting the road this holiday season for a unique concert experience, performing a combination of holiday classics, holiday originals and her hit songs alongside special guests, her father, Atz, and her brothers, Atz Lee and Nikos Kilcher.

“As kids, I toured a lot with my father, but this is the first time as an adult that I get to share the road with my dad and my brothers,” Jewel, 43, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “We are excited to embark on this holiday journey together and I am even more excited that my son Kase gets to travel with us all.”

The tour, which kicks off Nov. 24 in Las Vegas, will also act as “an instructional craft fair prior to the show where you can come to make gifts for loved ones,” she shares.

“I decided to start this annual Handmade Holiday Tour to create an antidote to the stress and overwhelm I am seeing in culture, and to help us focus on the simple pleasures that make us feel satisfied and truly happy,” she says. “My Handmade Holiday Tour is designed to provide experiences that friends and families alike can use to connect and make meaningful gifts and most importantly memories to share for a lifetime.”

She adds, “I believe you don’t need a lot of money to create memories or even gifts that last a lifetime.”

The tour will also sponsor 25 individuals per show who are in need and will offer them vouchers for the gift-making workshops to ensure they have a handmade gift for the holidays. Concertgoers will also have the opportunity to make donations or donate workshop vouchers to these families.

Online retailer Zappos.com will also be working with local animal shelters in each city to sponsor pet adoptions at every show as they kick off Home for the Pawlidayz, their nationwide pet adoption program.

“Holidays don’t need to be about expensive gifts and lavish parties, often it’s the little gifts, gestures and moments that you remember most over the years and I want to bring that simplicity of feel-good giving back to the holidays with this tour,” says the Framed for Murder star.

Tickets will be available for pre-sale on Tuesday, Sept. 19 and are on sale to the general public on Friday, Sept. 22.

Run The Jewels Plots Four-Pack Of Four-Night Runs For Tenth Anniversary Tour

Rap duo Run the Jewels will celebrate the tenth anniversary of its self-titled debut album with four-night runs in four cities including El-P ‘s hometown of New York City and Killer Mike ‘s native Atlanta as well as Chicago and Los Angeles. The pair will perform one of its four albums in full at each show.

Rapper Killer Mike and producer El-P are hitting the road beginning this fall, to celebrate 10 years of performing as the duo, Run The Jewels . Run The Jewels will perform in four different cities — New York, Chicago, Atlanta, and Los Angeles — for four nights each.

On May 31, The Marías will release their second studio album “Submarine.”

To go with the record, the Los Angeles-based quartet announced they’re hitting the road for the ‘Submarine Tour’ with special guest Automatic at music halls, theatres, ballrooms and lawns all over North America.

That includes a stop at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on Thursday, Aug. 8.

The Marías can’t wait, either.

The Marías new music

Leading up to the release of “Submarine,” The Marías dropped a pair of singles.

First, the four-piece put out the exquisite synth-pop confection “Run Your Mouth” on March 7.

Then, in tandem with the tour announcement, they unveiled the dreamy, atmospheric “Lejos de Ti,” which translates to “Far From You.”

Whilst internal flights are covered for certain itineraries, you will have to make your way to the meeting point for the start of your tour. When booking flights be mindful of departure times and possible delays. Tip: We suggest that you start comparing prices the moment your deposit is paid to avoid costly flights.

We have a set minimum age of 10 for our tours, but we're happy to consider younger children on a case-by-case basis. Just let us know your request, and we'll do our best to accommodate it. Expat Explore reserves the right to accept or decline the request at our discretion. We want to ensure everyone has a great time exploring with us!

We make every effort to include local cuisine on our tours to ensure an authentic experience for you. You'll receive an email before the tour begins, where we'll ask for your dietary preferences. We always have a vegetarian option, and we'll work hard to accommodate any other dietary needs or preferences you may have.

Contactless payment is widely accepted across Europe – it’s best to bring a payment card with no overseas withdrawal fees. * Keep in mind that certain optionals are payable in cash to your tour leader whilst on tour. We suggest that you talk to your Tour Leader about when & where to draw cash to pay for the optional excursions.

While Expat Explore cannot assist with booking pre or post-tour accommodation, we recommend Booking.com for affordable accommodation options prior to and after the tour. If hotel information is available, we can provide you with the details in advance so that you can book accommodation at or nearby the start hotel. While Expat Explore endeavours to stay current on all major entry requirements, we are not a registered visa agent. We are, however, able to make things a little easier by providing you with the required supporting documents for a visa application once your tour is paid in full. It is a requirement of the embassies that tours are paid for in full before visa support documentation is requested and applications are made. When you have made the final payment for your booking, simply reach out to our Customer Support Team to request your visa support documents and confirm which embassy you will be applying to.

This is up to you and will vary depending on how much you wish to spend on snacks, drinks, souvenirs etc. We do not include entrance fees to attractions and museums. We do, however, provide you with free time to see everything you want, and our tour leaders will have all the information on pricing and locations so you can manage your own budget. It's your responsibility to arrange sufficient travel insurance for your trip. When you travel with Expat Explore, both you and your personal belongings do so at your own risk. A comprehensive insurance policy should cover medical expenses for illness or accidents before or during the holiday, as well as reimbursement for lost holiday funds due to cancellation, curtailment, or other insurable events. We embrace travelers of all ages and backgrounds, prioritizing attitude and mindset over age restrictions. However, our tours are fast-paced and jam-packed with experiences. Regrettably, individuals with mobility limitations or those using wheelchairs may find this tour challenging. Comfortable walking shoes are essential for exploring quaint towns and navigating cobblestone streets. We want every traveler to fully enjoy their journey, so we encourage reviewing the itinerary carefully before making your booking decision.

When you book for more than one person, we will by default group you together in the same room(s), unless you request single supplements or specifically request us not to. If there are unequal numbers (3, 5, 7 etc.) then the remaining traveller will be roomed with another passenger of the same gender, unless you opt to add a single supplement (subject to availability) to your booking. Please note that minors under the age of 18 cannot share with another traveller outside of your group's booking. Run the Jewels Announces Multiple Nights of Shows In Chicago, NYC, ATL and LA to Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary

The renowned rap group Run the Jewels, consisting of Killer Mike from Atlanta and Brooklyn’s EL-P, has announced RTJX – Celebrating 10 Years of Run The Jewels, a series of anniversary live concerts to be held in New York City, Atlanta, Chicago, and Los Angeles this fall.

Following the 10th anniversary of the duo’s self-titled debut, the group will play four gigs in each city, with a different set each night that draws from the band’s entire record. Along the road, there will be many special guests and surprises. It will be the band’s first significant concert since wrapping up their now-famous tour with Rage Against The Machine in 2022, which included five sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden, as well as their first and only run of club events in North America since the release of their album RTJ4 in 2020.

“It’s mind blowing to us that it’s been 10 years since we joined forces as RTJ. The best way we can think to celebrate is to get the whole family together and do what we love for the people who love us back. It’s going to be amazing, just like this entire ride has been, and we are grateful to get a chance to celebrate with our jewel runners this year and finally get back into clubs to destroy some stages for you. We’re doing 4 cities, 4 nights each, and 4 full albums worth of jams, many we have only performed a small handful of times during our whole existence. So on night one it’s  RTJ1  in full plus many more songs from the other records, night two it’s  RTJ2 … etc. etc. We can’t wait to get out there and see you.“ – Jaime and Mike

Nike and Run The Jewels will collaborate to expand sports for a new generation starting next month. The skate community and its culture will be honored by the Nike SB Dunk Low and High “Run The Jewels.” The sneakers, which go on sale on April 20, are based on the cover art for the band’s most recent two albums. The High reimagines the cover from the 2020 album RTJ4, while The Low adopts the colors from the 2017 album Run The Jewels 3. The sneakers, which Killer Mike and El-P debuted at Mexico’s Corona Capital 2022, will be sold through neighborhood skate shops, Nike SNKRS, and a few other outlets.
