Bali is around eight degrees south of the equator, meaning it enjoys a warm, tropical climate year round. The dry season runs from April to September and is when humidity is at its lowest. Prices rise sharply during high season, which tends to be between July and September.

Pack lightweight clothing and expect to cover up when visiting sacred temples or sites. December to April is rainy season – if you’re visiting then you may experience some monsoon-like downpours.

Southern Bali is the most popular area for tourists, with many major airlines flying into Denpasar Airport. Nusa Dua, Sanur, Uluwatu, Kuta and Legian are very popular spots attracting very different crowds. Ubud nestles in the central highlands and is a mecca for travellers seeking a laid-back pace, fine food, arts and traditional Balinese culture. Many visitors to Bali also head onto the string of idyllic tropical islands known as the Gili Islands - Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno. A number of fast boats operate out of Bali, transporting travellers to this desert island paradise.

Kuta & Legian

Kuta and Legian are at the epicentre of mass tourism in Bali, partly because of the close proximity to the airport and capital Denpasar, and partly because of the alluring beach, cheap accommodation and raucous nightlife. Kuta is still very much considered the island’s party spot, popular with backpackers and budget travellers wanting to surf, eat fast food and drink ‘til dawn. It is still possible to find some genuine Balinese culture in the surrounding streets, but head to Legian if you still want the nightlife, but on a slightly calmer, more grown up scale.

Immediately north of Kuta, Seminyak couldn’t be more different, a place where high-class restaurants, good bars, beach clubs, boutiques and galleries lure well-heeled visitors through their doors. Numerous luxury spas and hotels line the wide, west-facing stretches of Indian Ocean shoreline with its turquoise waters and excellent surfing conditions, perfect for travellers more partial to riding waves than relaxing.

Another popular spot on the southern Bukit Peninsula, it is home to Bali’s most sacred sea temple. Dramatically perched on a clifftop above the Indian Ocean, Uluwatu temple is a magical spot. It is also home to one of the best surfing beaches on the island; pro-surfers flock here to ride the fast, powerful waves.

Visitors have long been drawn to the charms of Ubud, with its lively arts and cultural scene, excellent food, out-of-this-world spa offerings and charismatic, laid-back atmosphere. Whether you choose to watch traditional “legong” dances at the old palace, take a trip to the Monkey Forest Sanctuary or prefer to relax in one of the luxury hotels that have sprung up in recent years – Four Seasons, Ritz Cartlon, Uma by COMO and Viceroy all have hotels here – Ubud never fails to disappoint. Just north of Ubud are the Jatiluwih Rice terraces, an incredible example of the complex traditional water management system known as subak, dating back over 2,000 years. The fields are an important part of the island’s history – they were carved by hand using rudimentary tools – and are now UNESCO-protected. If you want to get away from the crowds, head here and marvel at the feat of design and engineering.

Some refer to this part of the island as the ‘Wild West’ due to the fact that it is the least visited part of the island and holds a mysterious allure, even for some of the locals. Here you’ll find stretches of deserted black volcanic beaches, created from the lava of Bali’s active Mount Batur and Mount Agung, vast swathes of jungle and rolling paddy fields. Pura Taman Ayun is a beautifully ornate royal water temple and was the main temple of the Mengwi kingdom, which survived until 1891. West Bali National Park covers most of the western end of the island and remains virtually unexplored. Many in-the-know surfers head here: Balian beach is a good spot, as is Medewi Beach, a popular destination where people come to surf and experience a relaxed way of life in the tiny Balinese fishing village. Uninhabited Menjangan Island is renowned for its diving, snorkeling and marine conservation, as is Pemuteran.

Fresh fish, coconut, aromatic spices, fresh vegetables, tropical fruit and rice are some of the main staples of Balinese cuisine. Taking influences from Chinese and Indian dishes, the island is famous for its Balinese Gado Gado, a well-known dish of boiled vegetables, hard boiled eggs, fried tofu and tempeh, rice and peanut sauce.

Bali has a unique cultural identity with a deep spirituality running through the veins of this peaceful island. It is the most populous Hindu majority island in the world. Day 1: Denpasar – Ubud

Arrive in Denpasar and transfer to your hotel in Ubud.

Day 2-3: Ubud

Visit Elephant Cave (Goa Gajah), Ubud Royal Palace and Ubud market on an Ubud tour. The next day, spend some time at leisure. You can opt for a cycling tour, white water rafting or visit the age-old village of Tenganan.

Day 4-5: Ubud – Candidasa

Day two will commence with a nice hearty breakfast at the hotel. After that, you will head on out to Nusa Dua to indulge in some exciting and adventurous water sports activities. There will be several activities like parasailing, snorkeling, jet skiing and many other popular water sports activities to choose from.

The rest of the day is at your leisure and free for you to shop for clothes, relics, antiques or any souvenirs you plan to carry back home. Also take some time out to visit the Uluwatu Temple, which is a famous Balinese Hindu temple built in a very creative and unique style of architecture. After a visit to the temple, you can enjoy a Kecak fire dance post-sunset, representing a snippet from the Ramayana. Finally, at night you can head to the Kuta beach for a serene and tranquil experience.

Kuta -Seminyak & Kintamani volcano Tour

Day three begins with a hearty Balinese breakfast followed by your check-out from the hotel in Kuta. Post check out you and your family will be transferred to Seminyak. Once you arrive at Seminyak, you will be checked in to the hotel, after which you will head on out to Kintamani. The spirit and the energy from the Kintamani volcano will woe you towards her. You can choose to walk or make a nice relaxing bike trip up the summit of the volcano for (extra charges). Post this you can choose to either paddle around the tropical beauty of the Seminyak or head back to the hotel for a much-deserved rest.

Day four of your Bali trip allows you and your family to have the entire day at your own leisure. You can either head out to explore the city or you can explore the many historic and archaeological sites in Bali by yourself. Go shopping in the local bazaars or try out some of the lip-smacking local delicacies that you might have missed out on. At the end of the day indulge in some rejuvenating and invigorating spa experience at the lodge's in-house spa. The overnight stay will be at the lodge itself.

Day 1 to 3 – Dubai

On arrival in Dubai, you will be greeted and transferred to your chosen Dubai hotel , Downtown, at the Marina or by the beach.

With three nights, you have time to explore this fascinating city that rises from the desert by the Arabian Sea. In the Old Town you’ll find traditional souks selling an array of spices and textiles, local mosques and authentic regional architecture. Head Downtown and you can’t miss the giant, glitzy shopping malls Dubai is famous for, and its futuristic skyscrapers including the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, where you can admire the city in miniature form from the observation deck on the 124th floor.

Alternatively, you could head into the desert on a 4×4 safari, hurtle down the waterslides at one of the several waterparks, visit the  Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo and so much more.

Day 4 to 10 – Bali

Arrive in the beautiful island of Bali, where you will be greeted and transferred to your chosen Bali hotel for a seven night stay. With long stretches of beach and warm waters, Bali is the perfect destination to unwind and relax.

Spend the next couple of days at your leisure, lay back and enjoy the warm waters and sun-drenched beaches or stroll through the towns enjoying the variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes on offer. If time permits spend a day travelling through Bali’s emerald-green countryside to Mengwi, surrounded by picturesque, working paddy fields, or for those looking for something a bit more active, take a guided walk through the Sacred Monkey Forest, before heading to Tanah Lot for yet another spectacular sunset!

Day 01: arrive bali- uluwatu temple tour.

Welcome-Arrive at NGURAH RAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT and proceed to immigration to get a stamp passport. Collecting luggage and meet our guide at the arrival zone meeting point. Get Flower Garland from our Balinese Costumed Girl before proceed to the bus. Depart from Airport transfer to visit ULUWATU TEMPLE TOUR. Visit to ancient Hindu temple located on top of the cliff jutting out to the ocean over 100 meters above the sea level. is a spectacular view from the splash of the wave all the times under the natural rocky cliff combining with the stunning Sunset. Many holy monkeys around the temple courtyard which is believed as guardian of the temple. Check in hotel, rest and shower. Overnight stay at Hotel in Bali.

DAY 02: FULLDAY KINTAMANI-UBUD TOUR

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer from hotel to BATUBULAN VILLAGE to visit BATIK FACTORY to see the making of BATIK CLOTH painted. Next proceed to Celuk Village which is famous for its silvers works followed by visiting MAS VILLAGE which is famous for its painters and wood carvings. Continue the tour direct to KINTAMANI VILLAGE and have stop at PENELOKAN VIEW POINT to enjoy the beautiful and magnificent view of Mount and Lake BATUR. Afternoon: Indonesian Buffet Lunch at GRAND PUNCAK SARI RESTAURANT overlooking to the mountain. After lunch, proceed to Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary (Monkey Forest Ubud), known as the Balinese long tailed monkey (macaque – in English). There are about 600 monkeys living in that very wide forest and divided into 5 groups with different territory. Then back to hotel. Over night stay at hotel.

DAY 3. FULLDAY TAMAN AYUN + BEDUGUL & TANAH LOT TEMPLE

Breakfast at hotel. Morning depart to Mengwi Village to visit the famous TAMAN AYUN Royal family temple. A temple complex boasts magnificent traditional architectural features throughout its courtyards and enclosures as well as expansive garden landscapes comprised of lotus and fish ponds. Afterwards, heading to Bedugul highland area, directly to visit ULUN DANU TEMPLE. The Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is both a famous picturesque landmark and a significant temple complex located on the western side of the Beratan Lake in Bedugul, central Bali. The smooth reflective surface of the lake surrounding most of the temple’s base creates a unique floating impression, while the mountain range of the Bedugul region encircling the lake provides the temple with a scenic backdrop. Noon: Enjoy Indonesian Buffet lunch at MENTARI RESTAURANT. After lunch, continue to visit the most famous Bali island landmark of TANAH LOT TEMPLE. Tanah Lot Temple is one of Bali’s most important landmarks, famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops. An ancient Hindu shrine perched on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing waves; Tanah Lot Temple is simply among Bali’s not-to-be-missed icons. Then back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel
