Surcos Tours is a family business. It was born from seeking solutions to the lack of work in rural areas, particularly in the southern and southwestern áreas of Costa Rica. The word “Surcos” comes from the Spanish “Surco” which means opening a path where none exists, to build and plant a better fate. We do not only want to plan your tour, we want to prepare the way and provide all the tools you need to choose the best tour. Our passion is to organize your trip to Corcovado National Park, for you to return with a camera full of pictures of monkeys, tapirs, anteaters, peccaries, leafcutter ants, colorful frogs, many birds and perhaps the puma. It is a privilege to accompany you on your journey to Corcovado, the most prestigious national park of Costa Rica. It is definitely worth coming to the Osa Peninsula in southwestern Costa Rica. Surcos Tours es una empresa familiar. Nació en 2006 con el propósito de buscar soluciones a la falta de trabajo en las zonas rurales, particularmente en las zonas sur y suroeste de Costa Rica.
La palabra “Surcos” proviene del español “Surco”, que significa abrir un camino donde no existe, para construir y plantar un destino mejor.
No solo queremos planificar su recorrido, sino que queremos preparar el camino y proporcionarle todas las herramientas que necesita para elegir el mejor recorrido.

The tour can be scheduled at any time, it takes half an hour by car from Puerto Jimenez to the Períca garden. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and after the tour includes a snack made by the family. Point: Surcos Tours Office. Surcos Tours is excellent! My friends and I used Surcos Tours for a 2 1/2 week birding tour. We travelled throughout Costa Rica by boat, van and airplane. Travel and lodging went without a hitch. When the inevitable difficulty arose the Surcos staff were able fix it without creating a disruption in our trip.
