Pete Davidson and John Mulaney Just Announced New Tour Dates

Jon Stewart will join Mulaney on one date of the John & Pete tour in October and November.

Clear your calendars, comedy fans: John Mulaney and Pete Davidson just announced nine new tour dates across the United States and Canada—with comedian and talk show host Jon Stewart filling in for Davidson for one special engagement. The dates are in addition to Mulaney's  John Mulaney in Concert  tour, which is running concurrently.

The  John & Pete  tour will make stops in the Midwest, Long Island, New England, and Canada, kicking off on October 5.

Mulaney, Davidson, and Stewart hit the road in early September, performing a string of shows in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Atlantic City before announcing the additional  John & Pete  (and Jon) dates. "Two Jo(h)ns and One Pete," Mulaney wrote in a September 13 Instagram post, sharing photos of the three behind the scenes and onstage. "The best."

Mulaney, a former  Saturday Night Live  writer and five-time SNL host, has toured with fellow  SNL  alum Davidson in the past, in addition to their onscreen collaborations. Both Mulaney and Stewart appeared on  Bupkis ,  Pete Davidson's semi-autobiographical Peacock series .

Pete Davidson to perform with John Mulaney and Jon Stewart in first tour since entering rehab

Jon, John & Pete will include shows in three cities in September.

Pete Davidson will return to the stage for his first tour since entering rehab earlier this summer.

The comedian reportedly had gigs on Aug. 1, performing a pair of sold-out shows in Dania, Fla., reported TMZ . Now news comes that Davidson will do a short run of shows with John Mulaney and Jon Stewart , both of whom recently appeared in Davidson's Peacock show, Bupkis .

The comedians will start their run of four shows in Springfield, Mass., on Sept. 8 before doing two shows a night in Bethlehem, Penn., on Sept. 9 and in Atlantic City on Sept. 10.

Mulaney shared the details for the mini-tour — dubbed Jon, John & Pete — on his Instagram, revealing that the presale begins today and that tickets will go on sale to the general public on Aug. 4.

A representative for Davidson did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.

The series of gigs arrives just more than a month after Davidson entered a rehab facility seeking assistance with post-traumatic stress disorder and borderline personality disorder, a diagnosis he revealed on Marc Maron's WTF podcast in 2017.

A source close to the SNL alum told PEOPLE at the time, "Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues. His friends and family have been supportive during this time."

No word yet on if the Jon, John & Pete tour will hit the road for more dates.

The performances come after Davidson entered a rehab facility for mental health treatment last month.

Pete Davidson  is hitting the stage for the first time since entering rehab last month.

ET can confirm that Davidson has booked two sold-out shows on Tuesday, Aug.1, at the Improv in Dania, Florida.  Additionally, Davidson will be on the road next month for a limited run alongside fellow comedians John Mulaney and Jon Stewart .

The September shows will see the trio in Springfield, Massachusetts, on Sept. 8; Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 9 and Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Sept. 10. Both the PA and New Jersey tour stops will feature two shows from the funny men.

Mulaney shared the tour announcement on Instagram on Tuesday. Titled, "Jon, John & Pete," pre-sale for the shows begins Wednesday Aug. 2, with the tickets officially going on sale Aug. 4 at 10:00 a.m. ET.

The announcement comes just a month over Davidson entered rehab to take care of his mental health.

"Pete Davidson has been in rehab and is being treated for mental health issues," a source told ET at the time. "He can be manic and wasn't sleeping well or taking good care of himself, so he decided to go to get help, take a break, and get back on track. Pete is focusing on himself."

It's unclear if Davidson has officially exited the rehab facility or if he's still receiving treatment while he works on his new material. The rehab center is reportedly  the same Pennsylvania facility where Mulaney sought help for substance abuse issues in December 2020.

The shows also come amid some good news for the  Saturday Night Live  alum, who avoided jail time after being charged with charged with misdemeanor reckless driving in March.

Davidson was instead ordered to complete 50 hours of community service following the Beverly Hills car crash, which will likely be completed with the FDNY at the same fire department where his late father worked. The  Bupkis  actor's father, Scott Davidson, was among the many first responders who died during the  9/11  terrorist attacks. He was 33 at the time of his death.

Davidson was also ordered to complete 12 hours of traffic school, as well as restitution, and obey all laws. As long as he completes the requirements, there will be no criminal offense on his record.

As for whether this is just a limited engagement or a signal that more shows are in the near future for the comedian, remains to be seen.

Jon Stewart, John Mulaney and Pete Davidson will head out on their short “Jon, John & Pete” comedy tour in fall 2023.

The comedians will perform one show in Springfield, Mass. on Sept. 8, two shows in Bethlehem, Pa. on Sept. 9 and two shows in Atlantic City, N.J. on Sept. 10 .

The “Jon, John & Pete” shows in Atlantic City will take place at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Tickets for Stewart, Mulaney and Davidson’s comedy shows go on sale on Aug. 4 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster .

The trio of comedians are only playing five dates, which is why you won’t want to delay securing your spot. Jon, John and Pete tour dates are below.

Mulaney’s time in rehab  is something he’s willing to talk about—in unapologetic detail—in his 2023 Netflix comedy special Baby J . The  SNL  alum has previously revealed he began drinking at the age of 13 for “attention” and as a means of becoming more confident. “I was really outgoing, and then at 12, I wasn’t. I didn’t know how to act. And then I was drinking, and I was hilarious again.”

He also told  Esquire  magazine in an October 2019 cover story that alcohol led him to experiment with prescription and illicit substances. “I wasn’t a good athlete, so maybe it was some young male thing of ‘This is the physical feat I can do. Three Vicodin and a tequila and I’m still standing,’” he said. “Who’s the athlete now?”

12 friends total—six in person in New York in the middle of the COVID pandemic and six on Zoom from Los Angeles—begged him to go to rehab. “Now, I don’t mean to be weird, but it was a star-studded intervention,” he said during his comedy special. “As mad as I was, when I walked in there, I was like, ‘This is a good lineup.’ … All comedians, yet no one said a funny thing the entire night.”

In the closing of the special, the first names of everyone who attended the intervention were listed: Fred, Berk, Mike, Bill, Erica, Nick, Natasha, Joe, Cara, David, Seth, Kevin, and Marika with a “you saved my life” beneath it. Seth is Seth Meyers, with whom Mulaney had worked at  SNL , Nick is his longtime  Big Mouth  collaborator Nick Kroll, and Fred, another  SNL  alum Fred Armisen. In previous comedy tours, Mulaney identified Bill as Bill Hader and Natasha Lyonne as also members of the group, while Marika is likely Marika Sawyer, a writer on  SNL , Mike is likely Mike Birbiglia, a comedian with whom Mulaney went to college, executive producers David Diner and Cara Masline are also possible members of the group.

John Mulaney announces 18-stop comedy tour for 2023: Get tickets today

Well, that escalated quickly.

What started as a five-show, one-weekend tour with Pete Davidson and Jon Stewart in early September, has since become a full-fledged tour for John Mulaney .

The five-time “Saturday Night Live” host just announced an additional 18 shows to his 2023 calendar he’s calling ‘John Mulaney: In Concert.’

In total, Mulaney now has 31 gigs all over North America this year including a trio with Jon Stewart and 11 with Pete Davidson .

And for those keeping score at home, he now has four shows in New York State.

First up, he’s slated to co-headline with Jon Stewart at Westbury’s NYCB Theatre on Friday, Oct. 13 and Saturday, Oct. 14 .

After that, he’ll hit Kingston’s Ulster Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Nov. 2 and Troy’s Troy Music Hall on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Stand-up comedians John Mulaney and Pete Davidson will be coming to several New England arenas this fall as part of their newly announced comedy tour.

The duo, who are real-life friends and frequent collaborators, have several dates booked in Rhode Island and Maine as part of the "John & Pete" tour, which was announced on Wednesday, according to NBC.

Mulaney and Davidson recently performed a string of shows in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Atlantic City.

Their friend and former "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart is also appearing at select dates.

The New England tour dates include:

• Friday, October 27 (two shows) – Providence, RI– Providence Performing Arts Center (with Pete Davidson)
• Saturday, October 28 – Portland, ME – Cross Insurance Arena (with Pete Davidson)
• Sunday, October 29 – Bangor, ME – Cross Insurance Center (with Pete Davidson)

Mulaney and Davidson most recently appeared together in the Peacock series "Bupkis" about Davidson's life.

John Mulaney is a two-time Emmy and WGA award-winning writer, actor, and comedian. Solidifying himself as a fan favorite, John Mulaney has been invited to host  Saturday Night Live  five times. He began writing for SNL in 2008 and created memorable characters. John has starred in numerous films such as Chip N’ Dale Rescue Ranger , and recently, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. He also has his own stand-up specials that have been featured on Comedy Central and Netflix.  

Pete Davidson is a comedian, actor, and writer. Davidson started standup comedy in 2013 before being hired as cast member on the NBC late-night sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live for eight seasons. In 2020 he received the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Comedy Movie Star. In 2023 Davidson acted in three high-profile action franchise films. He appeared as Phlektik in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 , Bowie in Fast X , and voiced Mirage in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

Should these locations reach full capacity by your time of arrival to the MassMutual Center and you still require accessible parking, city street accessible spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All phones will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the event space.
