6. Natchez Hills Winery

Owners Jim and Karen Odom, bring their passion for old-world style wine to life at Natchez Hills Winery . (They own three unique Natchez Hill locations in the Nashville area.)

Their boutique family vineyard, and original location, are located in the hills of the middle Tennessee wine country.

Although it is located an hour south of Nashville, this location is truly special as it is situated near the Natchez Trace, a historic forest trail extending from Tennessee to Mississippi.

It’s also a stop on the Natchez Trace Wine Trail.

Natchez Hills stands out from the pack with its small-batch wines and traditional winemaking techniques.

You can sample their wine with a tasting at their vineyard, or enjoy a bottle on their patio. 

Next, if you’re looking to sample their wine closer to the city, they also have a tasting bar at the Nashville Farmers’ Market .

They offer basic tastings as well as elevated tasting and pairing experiences, and whether you’re a new wine drinker or a wine connoisseur, the staff will expertly guide you through the tasting.

Their final location is located at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, a historical museum in Davidson County, 10 miles east of Nashville.

This family winery includes 100 acres of farmland housing North American and French hybrid grapes.

If you love wine, then we have the perfect place for you to spend your day. Co-owned by Country Music artist Kix Brooks, Arrington Vineyards is located 25 miles south of Nashville, Tennessee. Our beautiful 95 acre property includes 16 acres of vineyards, five tasting rooms, gorgeous views, shaded picnic areas, live music on weekends (April to November), and plenty of free parking. We proudly produce and bottle twenty-two award-winning wines onsite. We are open daily for wine tastings and wine bottle purchases. You can taste our wines here with us or purchase bottles from the comfort of your home through our online shop. About Arrington Vineyards

Nashville’s Arrington Vineyards is owned by country music artist Kix Brooks, master vintner Kip Summer. Arrington Vinewayrds was originally established in 2003, when wine master Kip and a fellow wine enthusiast and their families purchased a 25 acre hog farm and began clearing the property and planting grapevines. In 2004, Kix purchased the farm adjacent to the original vineyards - which included the farmhouse that eventually became the winery tasting room. Together, they began creating a first-class winery with the working name of Firefly Vineyards. This name was later changed to reflect the local community of Arrington, Tennessee.

By April 2007, the Nashville winery was officially licensed, and the bottling commenced. Arrington Vineyards quickly established itself as a first-class operation – winning “Best of Show” at the Wines of the South Competition for its 2004 Syrah and quickly selling out of our 2005 vintage in a few months.
