Lovely driver very attentive and…

Rob Lovely driver very attentive and funny. Not bothered about Coventry but Strafford on Avon very quaint. Hotel amazing rooms and food , bar staff not very jolly , nice touch with Happy hour bar prices bit high.

Minor letdowns on 2 dates

Miscommunication when told a hotel could do extra rooms then told opposite by another Caledonian staff member upon call back Disappointed that holiday documents could not be posted only e mailed not everyone has a printer or wants everything saved on their phone.

Me and my sister went on the holy island and Durham trip, the driver was really nice he explain everything what we was doing and going, it was a really nice comfortable trip really enjoyed every moment of it.

Newquay Trip

Last trip was to Newquay. Long journey but so worth it. Great location with a few excursions. Hotel was fine. Dinners were better than the breakfasts, but far too much food! Well worth the money. Well done Caledonia, next trip is Liverpool.

First time I have used Caledonian I was…

First time I have used Caledonian I was very impressed with everything from the start to the end of my break I have booked a surprise day trip for my 60th in July looking forward to it.

Easy process to book

Easy process to book the coach holiday. I never have any problems and have thoroughly enjoyed the breaks away. The only hiccup recently was I had to phone and chase up paperwork.

First time we have travelled with Caledonian and I would definitely do it again..... very smooth journey and very helpful too

Never again

5day tour to Mount Erigal hotel in Letterkenny. Bed breakfast and dinner. Not good. Selection for breakfast did not include any cold meats or cheeses. If you don't want dried up overcooked fry, then you have cereal and toast.. Only whole milk for cereal, no semi skimmed or skimmed. When I asked for skimmed I was told they don't do it. Went to dinner first evening and thereafter paid to eat in the hotel restaurant. First night dinner chose turkey/ham and it was like leather. Veg was cold. 5 of 9 at our table left most of it. The other 4 had the fish, which seemed okay. Tour guests are given a set menu with 2choices. Food is very poor and not anything they would serve to non tour guests.hotel is showing some signs of wear and tear. Seats in main lounging area are very dirty and worn as is the woodwork on tables. Had a front room and the traffic noise all through the night meant sleep was very poor. Shower room very basic. Could do with a shelve to accommodate toiletries. Having to change coaches at Cairnyran wasn't good. Very confusing for some people and difficult for older passengers to carry luggage on and off coaches. Fortunately the weather was dry otherwise we would have been soaked waiting for the coach to arrive.Driver, Carol has good driving skills, but would suggest she tempers her bad language. Not very professional.

Phone call was answered promptly, Booking was carried out in a efficient and friendly way and verified by email straight away. Just waiting to see if we actually get on our holiday we booked as the last one we booked was cancelled

Edinburgh trip

I went to Edinburgh on a Monday to Friday trip from Newcastle upon Tyne. The Brittania hotel was pretty basic to say the least, no room service while we were there. Best thing about it was the breakfast. The trips were good The Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel were great! The Royal Yacht Brittania was good too. However our Driver although pleasant in himself was disorganised, kept getting lost. We arrived too early for our visit to Brittania. Arrived at 10 he wasn't even going to take us in until we asked because we weren't given tickets. Turned out that it didn't open till 10.30am.. Dropping us off home he missed turn off for Newcastle, we had to direct him into the city. He said he hadn't been to the area before, if this was true he should have been given pointers by the office and routines of what to do. We were let off bus without being given times to get back on until we asked him! He really needs customer service training. I've been on many coach holidays and this was the worst in terms of organisation.

Black pool down fall

Hotel was ideal meals could be improved black pool was really run down and most places closed and buildings deterated rusted shutters shame even the North peir run down
