These two spiritual leaders have traveled extensively worldwide, and collectively have led dozens of sacred travel tours. Spirit Tours work with local guides, hotels, and tour companies as much as possible, providing truly unique experiences. We research the most interesting and rewarding optional activities and are always happy to tailor make portions of any tour, or work with a leader to create a new tour with a sacred/spiritual focus in an amazing location.

Karen and Petra traveled with Spirit Tours for over 15 years before purchasing the company from founder, Jim Cramer in the summer of 2022. Spirit Tours was founded in 2001 by Jim Cramer, an experienced travel industry professional and veteran traveler.

Karen and Petra share Jim’s belief that we are all a part of a web of life in which everything is sacred; that there is One Presence, a divine life essence, and indwelling Consciousness or Spirit in every creature and life form. Spirit Tours was born out of Jim’s desire to share that Oneness through spiritual journeys. Since those early days in Bali, Spirit Tours has led tours to many culturally rich destinations throughout the world with New Thought Ministers, Yoga Teachers, and Buddhist Masters. Karen and Petra are truly honored and delighted to continue the journey begun by their dear friend, Jim Cramer.

Rev Karen served as the Co-Spiritual Director at CSLDallas for 8 years before releasing her full-time position there after purchasing Spirit Tours. Rev Karen received Ordination in 2016 and became a licensed minister for Centers for Spiritual Living (CSL) in 2013. She served in the elected leadership of CSL for 16 consecutive years (UCSL CORE Council, CSL Nominating Council Chair, CSL Minister Council Co-Chair).

Prior to becoming a licensed minister, Rev Karen spent twenty-three years in executive leadership, sales, and marketing. Over half of her career was spent in the medical device industry where she thrived, loved the start-up environment, and helped take companies to their next major growth stage. She was the major revenue driver for one such company, generating over $30 million in revenue in less than five years.

A highly regarded, deeply admired teacher, Dr Petra engages students with her interactive style providing a safe, sacred environment for personal growth and exploration. Her deep wisdom, wealth of knowledge, humility as well as humor, guides students into journeys of awakening to their unique expression and creative and joyful potential. An elegant, powerful speaker, her ability to translate seemingly complex and confusing life issues into concise and clear messages invites the audience into deeper levels of understanding of their being and engagement in the world by igniting the change within. She has co-led tours to Costa Rica, Bali, New Zealand/Australia, Ireland, Scotland, and developed our New England, New Thought Roots Tour.

Beyond the wonders of the world, Keya is an unabashed Disney enthusiast, making pilgrimages to the parks multiple times each year. Her love for the enchanting worlds created by Disney is a testament to her appreciation for joy, wonder, and imagination.

In the moments when she isn’t traversing the globe, Keya directs her energy towards personal and spiritual growth. She finds solace in volunteering at CSLDallas , a Center for Spiritual Living, where she not only nurtures her own spiritual journey but also contributes to the community as a member of their Board.

Keya’s story is one of courage, passion, and a deep commitment to creating moments of magic for herself and others. With a spirit for adventure and soul that seeks to express the divine, Keya is not just a traveler but a guide to a world of enchantment.

Over 20 years ago, Jim Cramer founded Spirit Tours out of his love for Bali while living there for many years. He was inspired by the idea of a spiritual pilgrimage to Bali by Dr Edward Viljoen. With the support of Jim Cramer’s wife, Dottie, and his children Gita and Tim, Spirit Tours grew into a family business that has joyfully provided international and domestic spiritual travel for Centers for Spiritual Living, Unity and yoga communities. It has been an amazing journey, filled with spiritual deepening, personal growth, and priceless memories. Jim continues to be involved behind the scenes and lead tours.

DR TRACY BROWN, RScP (LHD)

Guided by Spirit. Groomed to serve. Glazed in the fire of business. Generous with her time and talents. Grown through prayer. This is Tracy Brown . Tracy is an author, speaker, and popular teacher throughout the New Thought Movement. Her books include “Stained Glass Spirit: Becoming a Spiritual Community Where Oneness Does Not Require Sameness” and “I Turn to Prayer.”

Based in Dallas, Texas, Tracy is actively involved as a teacher and leader at CSLDallas . She is also the President of Intentional Inclusion Inc. and is recognized nationally as an expert on diversity and inclusion. She loves exploring the ways culture changes over the years and in addition to extensive travel in the United States, she has traveled to Senegal, The Gambia, Brazil, France, Mexico, Canada and Jamaica.

REV DR KATHY HEARN

Dr Kathy Hearn is an international speaker, consultant, counselor and facilitator. February 2012 she completed 10 years as the Community Spiritual Leader of United Centers for Spiritual Living and had an important role in the integration of International and United Centers for Spiritual Living.

Currently, Dr. Kathy serves as Dean of the Centers for Spiritual Living School of Spiritual Leadership – San Diego Regional Center. She is a member of the Cultural Integrity and Evolution team of the Growth and Development Committee and the Board of Governors for the Spiritual Living Archives. She serves on the Leadership Council of Association for Global New Thought, and appeared in the film “The Heart to Lead – Women as Allies for the Greater Good.”

TSHERING JAMTSHO

Tshering Jamtsho from Bhutan can be rated among the first well-trained tour leaders in the country. He has extensive knowledge in the field of tourism in Bhutan. His understanding of Buddhism, Bhutanese culture, history and environment has earned him many friends around the globe. and through these networks he has also been invited as a guest speaker to speak at the California institute of Integral Studies on Buddhism and local Bhutanese deities. Tshering Jamtsho is today one of the leading tour operators in the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Aracelli Alava De Pinho, Our Spirit Tours representative in Peru worked for Peak Travel North America and graduated from Ricardo Palma College and speaks English, Spanish and French. Ara helps coordinate our Machu Picchu journeys to ensure our journey is magical and sacred.

Some people are surprised that Hiram Bingham’s “Lost City of the Incas” is not the only stop on their Peru itinerary. Although it may be the highlight, tours to Machu Picchu also typically include Cusco, Sacsayhuaman, the Sacred Valley, Pisac, Ollantaytambo and sometimes even Lake Titicaca and the mystical inter-dimensional portal of Aramu Muru.
