Madrid Tour Bus - Routes
There are 2 routes: Route 1 is History Madrid; Route 2 is Modern Madrid. Routes 1 and 2 last 75 minutes.
Both routes are circular and you can catch the bus from any stop on the route.
You can hop on and off the bus whenever you like giving you control over what you prefer to see. There'll be another one along every 20 minutes, and you can get back onto any bus you like, from any route. This is a fantastic way to jump off and see a few sites before getting back on and travelling to the next location.
Whilst you're on the bus, headphones are provided for you to listen to an audio guide that tells you all about the important buildings, streets and other sites that you are seeing. The audio guide is available in several languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Russian.
Keep hold of the map you get with the ticket. It gives you discounts at many attractions.
Madrid Tour Bus - Where Does It Go?
In total there are 29 different stops. You will pass most of the major museums, including the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia. You can also travel to Madrid's famous Rastro (Sunday street market) and through the central square of Puerta del Sol. The Vision Tour bus also passes the magnificent Royal Palace.

Important Notice
- From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m : Paseo del Prado will be closed to traffic between Atocha Square and Cibeles Square. The following stops will not be served: Jardín Botánico, Museo del Prado.
- An alternative stop will be served in front of Felipe IV Gate, by the Retiro Park, just opposite Cason del Buen Retiro (located 28 Alfonso XII street). Route 1 and the extended Route 1 will start from this location.
- From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sporting event. Our routes will suffer modifications, detours and delays. The following stops may not be served: Santiago Bernabeu.
