South Africa with teenagers

Robyn came up with a great itinerary for our Cape Town, garden route and safari brief. Being from South Africa and studying in Cape Town meant that she had lots of great ideas, especially for doing things that would keep the interest of our 16 and 14 year old. She had done most of the trip as a teenager herself so the advice was all spot on. Can highly recommend Audley and Robyn, it made the planning and travel super easy for us so we could just enjoy it!

Flawless Experience

My wife and I turned to Audley Travel to book our tour of Scotland, and we approached the whole experience in a bygone, let-the-travel-agent-handle-the-arrangements manner. After two calls with the Audley representative, we had an itinerary that, at least on paper, matched our preferences. Then, on the first day of the trip, beginning at the local airport, everything fell into place… flawlessly. And everything that followed fell into place… flawlessly… for twelve days straight. We would simply show up, say our name, and… ta-dah… room reservation would be found or tickets would be found, and off we went. We did not have reason to use the local customer support (but knowing that it was there was a quiet comfort). More importantly, each accommodation, each tour, and each activity was perfectly matched to our preferences and our pace. We saw more, did more, and enjoyed ourselves more all thanks to the Audley representative’s talents.

Vietnam Honeymoon

Having not used a tour provider before, we chose to treat ourselves for our honeymoon. Off the back of some recommendations and good online reviews we opted with Audley. The initial process was incredible easy, we set up a call with Christian almost immediately. Within a week we had a draft itinerary in place. Following a couple more short calls it was fully booked. The whole experience was unbelievably easy and throughout it all Christian was friendly, funny and helpful. We were very happy with the whole booking experience and then when we got out to Vietnam it got even better. The hotels, guides and excursions were all fantastic. Everything was organised for us and the guides were all incredibly helpful. Which meant throughout the whole trip we could just relax and enjoy it, despite moving around to several different cities and hotels. It's a trip we'll remember for a long time and for that we couldn't thank Christian and the rest of the Audley team enough.

Family Adventure in Vietnam

When we knew we had the opportunity to catch up with our daughter on her travels round the Far East, Audley helped us create the most amazing two week adventure in Vietnam. Dom helped us explore options and created an itinerary that met exactly what we were hoping for. Vietnam was the most amazing destination, and Audley ensured we were looked after at every stage.

Wonderful 10* service and support

The best travel service in the world! Not only did they plan our trip with great attention to detail, providing a lot of extra valuable travel advice and tips, they really showed their expertise when things went wrong. When my husband was rushed into hospital while away, their wonderful team were there supporting and advising me every step of the way. They continued to keep in touch and help me on our repatriation to the UK in a way that shows a level of customer care beyond anything we have ever experienced before. The most Amazing Experience and Luxury vacation

A bestie and I were searching for a destination and a company to assist us with our travel arrangements. Why we chose Audley: I researched many travel companies and was intrigued Audley Travel started out, and where they are now! The fact they initiated programs that support charities and projects around the world and they have a charity of the year like Tusk. Not to mention the overall vibes I felt about this company's history and overview. The simple fact that the specialists have lived in THE countries of destination, was the cork in the bottle for us! Our Experience with Kristen Ziino : Kristen Ziino specialist - Portugal, Spain, and the Azores. She exemplified the art of listening, dissecting information, and then crafting the most unforgettable travel experiences for us. Kristen connected us with local cultures. Whether wandering through the winding cobblestone streets of Lisbon with a private food docent, Claudia, taking in the aroma, eating pastries, sipping Ginjinha with the sounds of fado music. Or a private chauffeured tour beginning in Lisbon with Jamie, to Cascais, an elegant resort town continuing up the Portuguese Riviera. With our rental car, we explored stunning landscapes, a Megalith Ancient Stone Circle, old-world villages, forts, and castles. Driving into Arrábida Natural Park to take in breathtaking views, toward the heart of historic Lagos, staying at Casa Mãe, a boutique hotel, just one of several destinations as we explored the western Algarve. Kristen indulged us with luxurious accommodations, like São Lourenço do Barrocal Hotel and Monte Alentejano, full of history and antiquity. Kristen reached out while we were away excited to hear how we were doing. She tailored the vacation to us with her expertise, advice, and thoughtfulness. Our trip to Thailand "the land of smiles" was fabulous

Our Thailand trip was fabulous. With expert guidance from Saskia at Audley we visited golden temples, ancient ruins, vibrant markets (even one on a railway line!) and a variety of stunning landscapes. The smell and taste of Thai street food and fruit beyond imagination. The music of the rainforest- gibbons, birds and cicadas calling. The serenity of the hill tribe people. The poignant Burma Railway sites and the most beautiful cemetery. Fantastic tea tasting. Getting up close and personal with gorgeous elephants. Staying in a lovely selection of boutique hotels. I unhesitatingly recommend visiting "the land of smiles" Thailand with Audley to tailor the trip to your individual needs.

Paris&London, Mother&Son and a Trip Never Forgotten

Many 5-star reviews over promise and under-deliver. Mine, hopefully will not. From end-to-end our entire experience was positive. Our planner, Lily, was knowledgeable, understanding and creative. She tailored this trip to meet the needs of my mother with walking/stair climbing limitations. This was a life-long dream for my Mom to step foot on the European continent and visit Paris/London. We were worried she would not be able to due to her heart/health issues. However with proper planning, preparation and budgeting for taxis, Uber's and Audley's private drivers the trip was a resounding success. The hotel accommodations met and exceeded expectations, the tour guides were phenomenal (and future pen-pals), and the time saved dealing with 30+ reservations, itineraries, etc. was worth the money spent on our program; remember you're paying for peace of mind and that is what Audley delivered. So, take a chance. Save up the money and plan that dream vacation, photos and souvenirs cannot replace the memories we created in this trip. You never know how much time you have to take a vacation like this, and while pricey, the value will return back to you and then some. It already has for me. Well Done!

Southafrica !

Southafrica ! We booked a 3 week trip to Cape Town, garden route, winelands and safari, all tailor made to our needs as a family. The service with Audley travel was immaculate from start to finish and we had an amazing experience. I can't fault Audley…

This is the 2nd time we have used Audley Travel as we were so impressed with how they planned our first holiday with them. New Zealand Trip of a Lifetime…

The New Zealand trip had been on our agenda pre Covid and we used Audley to help plan our self drive itinerary. Our agent, Amy, listened and understood what we were looking for and offered knowledgeable advice based on her personal experience. She came up with a planned route which pretty much perfectly matched our brief. Three perfect trips with Audley

This latest trip to Vietnam was the third time that we have used Audley Travel. In all three occasions we were listened to, so that they could try to put together a holiday that suited us. They were always quick to respond to any issues that cropped up during our holidays one one occasion they even phoned us in China! This company is not the cheapest but they are in our opinion the best that we have found and we will not hesitate in using them again for a great travel experience.

Fabulous trip to Mexico

I had a wonderful itinerary put together for me by Phoebe, the Mexico specialist, only 3 weeks before flying off. Phoebe and Audely were increcibly can-do, pro-active and up-front about what they could achieve last-minute and given I was going away peak season. The trip ended up being more epxensive than I had anticipated, but the trips, hotels and service that I got made it all worthwhile. And when I got ill during the holiday I was in constant contact with their local operating partner who were incredibly resposive and helpful I thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic tour of New Zealand

Just back from a fantastic tour of New Zealand, which was organised by Audley Travel. The trip ran very smoothly, although we stayed at a lot of different venues. All the excursions organised by the company were great and we had a brilliant time. We would thoroughly recommend using Audley for this type of trip as their agents have an extensive knowledge of the country and the different places we stayed and experiences that we did.

Extremely Disappointed with Swiss Travel

We saved up for our dream holiday to Costa Rica. After lots of research we chose Audley Travel to book our holiday through, they tailor make each holiday package to suit the individuals requirements, the holiday was well arranged by Audley Travel with good communications, staying at 5 different locations which all looked amazing. The problems all started when we arrived at San Jose Airport, we met the Swiss Travel Rep who led us to a mini van. The Rep stayed on the bus for all of 5 minutes while he gave us a quick explanation of what was going to happen..We were told the transfer time to the first location would take around 2 hours, it took over 4 hours which was totally unacceptable after an 11 hour flight, we arrived at La Selva Biological Station at about 10pm. When we woke up in the morning, we found out the lodge was about a mile walk away from the reception and breakfast area. We had zero communications from Swiss Travel during the whole holiday, we had an itinerary on an App that showed us which days we would be transferring to the next location but no one from Swiss Travel ever told us what time we were being collected, this happened at every location and was quite stressful. On the last day we had an internal flight shown on our itinerary App from Puerto Jiménez Airport to San Jose Airport. We were led to the small 10 seater plane and were pleased we made it after not knowing what time we were being collected from the last Lodge. We were sitting on the plane then an official looking person boarded and told us to get off because the flight hadn’t been paid for. This was unbelievable considering how much money we had paid for this holiday. After a long discussion between Swiss Travel and the flight officials were allowed back on the plane, 
We will NEVER use Audley Travel again if we know swiss Travel are involved, considering the amount of money we handed over for such a poor experience, we could have arranged this holiday ourselves for half the price and less stress. We would definitely NOT recommend anyone to use Audley Travel for an expensive holiday to Costa Rica if Swiss Travel are involved.

Trip of a lifetime

Audley helped us to organise the trip of a lifetime - 3 months visiting Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, New Zealand and the South West USA. All 3 country specialists we dealt with, our lead consultant Amy for NZ, Anna for SE Asia and Shannon for the USA were so helpful in making suggestions of places to visit we hadn’t thought of, coming up with an outline itinerary within our budget and tweaking things over the course of several lengthy calls so we ended up with the perfect trip. We had the most amazing holiday, logistically everything went incredibly smoothly and the quality of the places we stayed in and the guides who assisted us were evidence of Audley’s attention to detail. We highly recommend Audley and will certainly be using them again ourselves - we already have one or two ideas!

Audley gave a us a life changing experience!

My mother and I (a female 24 year old) had an amazing 2 week holiday with Audley Travel. Brigitte at Audley Travel helped us to create an experience that worked for our interests, our budget and our time-frame. We had a life-changing trip through Jordan and Egypt including an unforgettable jeep tour of the Wadi Rum desert, a private tour of Petra, a luxury cruise along the Nile, a guided tour of the Pyramids and so much more! Trip of a lifetime - 5 star service from Audley

It’s really not surprising that Audley has a 95% five star rating. We have just returned from a long awaited trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. Dan, who initially organised our holiday for April 2023, went above and beyond to rearrange our trip when due to ill health, we were unable to make it that year. Not once was he phased by changing flights, hotels and at the last minute changing our daughter’s flight to come home earlier. The holiday was a dream from the professional and knowledgeable Agents used in both Vietnam and Cambodia to the private trips and experiences. We have used Audley in the past and will continue to use them again for future trips to Asia. In fact Dan is currently putting an itinerary together for November 2025!

South Africa with teenagers

Robyn came up with a great itinerary for our Cape Town, garden route and safari brief. Being from South Africa and studying in Cape Town meant that she had lots of great ideas, especially for doing things that would keep the interest of our 16 and 14 year old. She had done most of the trip as a teenager herself so the advice was all spot on. Can highly recommend Audley and Robyn, it made the planning and travel super easy for us so we could just enjoy it!

Flawless Experience

My wife and I turned to Audley Travel to book our tour of Scotland, and we approached the whole experience in a bygone, let-the-travel-agent-handle-the-arrangements manner. After two calls with the Audley representative, we had an itinerary that, at least on paper, matched our preferences. Then, on the first day of the trip, beginning at the local airport, everything fell into place… flawlessly. And everything that followed fell into place… flawlessly… for twelve days straight. We would simply show up, say our name, and… ta-dah… room reservation would be found or tickets would be found, and off we went. We did not have reason to use the local customer support (but knowing that it was there was a quiet comfort). More importantly, each accommodation, each tour, and each activity was perfectly matched to our preferences and our pace. We saw more, did more, and enjoyed ourselves more all thanks to the Audley representative’s talents.

Vietnam Honeymoon

Having not used a tour provider before, we chose to treat ourselves for our honeymoon. Off the back of some recommendations and good online reviews we opted with Audley. The initial process was incredible easy, we set up a call with Christian almost immediately. Within a week we had a draft itinerary in place. Following a couple more short calls it was fully booked. The whole experience was unbelievably easy and throughout it all Christian was friendly, funny and helpful. We were very happy with the whole booking experience and then when we got out to Vietnam it got even better. The hotels, guides and excursions were all fantastic. Everything was organised for us and the guides were all incredibly helpful. Which meant throughout the whole trip we could just relax and enjoy it, despite moving around to several different cities and hotels. It's a trip we'll remember for a long time and for that we couldn't thank Christian and the rest of the Audley team enough.

Family Adventure in Vietnam

When we knew we had the opportunity to catch up with our daughter on her travels round the Far East, Audley helped us create the most amazing two week adventure in Vietnam. Wonderful 10* service and support

The best travel service in the world! Not only did they plan our trip with great attention to detail, providing a lot of extra valuable travel advice and tips, they really showed their expertise when things went wrong. When my husband was rushed into hospital while away, their wonderful team were there supporting and advising me every step of the way. The most Amazing Experience and Luxury vacation

A bestie and I were searching for a destination and a company to assist us with our travel arrangements. Why we chose Audley: I researched many travel companies and was intrigued Audley Travel started out, and where they are now! The fact they initiated programs that support charities and projects around the world and they have a charity of the year like Tusk. Not to mention the overall vibes I felt about this company's history and overview. The simple fact that the specialists have lived in THE countries of destination, was the cork in the bottle for us! Our Experience with Kristen Ziino : Kristen Ziino specialist - Portugal, Spain, and the Azores. She exemplified the art of listening, dissecting information, and then crafting the most unforgettable travel experiences for us. Kristen connected us with local cultures. Whether wandering through the winding cobblestone streets of Lisbon with a private food docent, Claudia, taking in the aroma, eating pastries, sipping Ginjinha with the sounds of fado music. Or a private chauffeured tour beginning in Lisbon with Jamie, to Cascais, an elegant resort town continuing up the Portuguese Riviera. With our rental car, we explored stunning landscapes, a Megalith Ancient Stone Circle, old-world villages, forts, and castles. Driving into Arrábida Natural Park to take in breathtaking views, toward the heart of historic Lagos, staying at Casa Mãe, a boutique hotel, just one of several destinations as we explored the western Algarve. Kristen indulged us with luxurious accommodations, like São Lourenço do Barrocal Hotel and Monte Alentejano, full of history and antiquity. Kristen reached out while we were away excited to hear how we were doing. She tailored the vacation to us with her expertise, advice, and thoughtfulness. Our trip to Thailand "the land of smiles" was fabulous

Our Thailand trip was fabulous. With expert guidance from Saskia at Audley we visited golden temples, ancient ruins, vibrant markets (even one on a railway line!) and a variety of stunning landscapes. The smell and taste of Thai street food and fruit beyond imagination. The music of the rainforest- gibbons, birds and cicadas calling. The serenity of the hill tribe people. The poignant Burma Railway sites and the most beautiful cemetery. Fantastic tea tasting. Getting up close and personal with gorgeous elephants. Staying in a lovely selection of boutique hotels. I unhesitatingly recommend visiting "the land of smiles" Thailand with Audley to tailor the trip to your individual needs.

Paris&London, Mother&Son and a Trip Never Forgotten

Many 5-star reviews over promise and under-deliver. Mine, hopefully will not. From end-to-end our entire experience was positive. Our planner, Lily, was knowledgeable, understanding and creative. She tailored this trip to meet the needs of my mother with walking/stair climbing limitations. This was a life-long dream for my Mom to step foot on the European continent and visit Paris/London. We were worried she would not be able to due to her heart/health issues. However with proper planning, preparation and budgeting for taxis, Uber's and Audley's private drivers the trip was a resounding success. The hotel accommodations met and exceeded expectations, the tour guides were phenomenal (and future pen-pals), and the time saved dealing with 30+ reservations, itineraries, etc. was worth the money spent on our program; remember you're paying for peace of mind and that is what Audley delivered. So, take a chance. Save up the money and plan that dream vacation, photos and souvenirs cannot replace the memories we created in this trip. You never know how much time you have to take a vacation like this, and while pricey, the value will return back to you and then some. It already has for me. Well Done!

Southafrica !

Southafrica ! We booked a 3 week trip to Cape Town, garden route, winelands and safari, all tailor made to our needs as a family. New Zealand Trip of a Lifetime…

The New Zealand trip had been on our agenda pre Covid and we used Audley to help plan our self drive itinerary. Our agent, Amy, listened and understood what we were looking for and offered knowledgeable advice based on her personal experience. Three perfect trips with Audley

This latest trip to Vietnam was the third time that we have used Audley Travel. In all three occasions we were listened to, so that they could try to put together a holiday that suited us. They were always quick to respond to any issues that cropped up during our holidays one one occasion they even phoned us in China! Fabulous trip to Mexico

I had a wonderful itinerary put together for me by Phoebe, the Mexico specialist, only 3 weeks before flying off. Phoebe and Audely were increcibly can-do, pro-active and up-front about what they could achieve last-minute and given I was going away peak season. The trip ended up being more epxensive than I had anticipated, but the trips, hotels and service that I got made it all worthwhile. And when I got ill during the holiday I was in constant contact with their local operating partner who were incredibly resposive and helpful I thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic tour of New Zealand

Just back from a fantastic tour of New Zealand, which was organised by Audley Travel. The trip ran very smoothly, although we stayed at a lot of different venues. All the excursions organised by the company were great and we had a brilliant time. Extremely Disappointed with Swiss Travel

We saved up for our dream holiday to Costa Rica. After lots of research we chose Audley Travel to book our holiday through, they tailor make each holiday package to suit the individuals requirements, the holiday was well arranged by Audley Travel with good communications, staying at 5 different locations which all looked amazing. The problems all started when we arrived at San Jose Airport, we met the Swiss Travel Rep who led us to a mini van. The Rep stayed on the bus for all of 5 minutes while he gave us a quick explanation of what was going to happen..We were told the transfer time to the first location would take around 2 hours, it took over 4 hours which was totally unacceptable after an 11 hour flight, we arrived at La Selva Biological Station at about 10pm. When we woke up in the morning, we found out the lodge was about a mile walk away from the reception and breakfast area. We had zero communications from Swiss Travel during the whole holiday, we had an itinerary on an App that showed us which days we would be transferring to the next location but no one from Swiss Travel ever told us what time we were being collected, this happened at every location and was quite stressful. On the last day we had an internal flight shown on our itinerary App from Puerto Jiménez Airport to San Jose Airport. We were led to the small 10 seater plane and were pleased we made it after not knowing what time we were being collected from the last Lodge. We were sitting on the plane then an official looking person boarded and told us to get off because the flight hadn’t been paid for. This was unbelievable considering how much money we had paid for this holiday. After a long discussion between Swiss Travel and the flight officials were allowed back on the plane, 
We will NEVER use Audley Travel again if we know swiss Travel are involved, considering the amount of money we handed over for such a poor experience, we could have arranged this holiday ourselves for half the price and less stress. We would definitely NOT recommend anyone to use Audley Travel for an expensive holiday to Costa Rica if Swiss Travel are involved.

Trip of a lifetime

Audley helped us to organise the trip of a lifetime - 3 months visiting Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, New Zealand and the South West USA. All 3 country specialists we dealt with, our lead consultant Amy for NZ, Anna for SE Asia and Shannon for the USA were so helpful in making suggestions of places to visit we hadn’t thought of, coming up with an outline itinerary within our budget and tweaking things over the course of several lengthy calls so we ended up with the perfect trip. We had the most amazing holiday, logistically everything went incredibly smoothly and the quality of the places we stayed in and the guides who assisted us were evidence of Audley’s attention to detail. We highly recommend Audley and will certainly be using them again ourselves - we already have one or two ideas!

Audley gave a us a life changing experience!

My mother and I (a female 24 year old) had an amazing 2 week holiday with Audley Travel. Brigitte at Audley Travel helped us to create an experience that worked for our interests, our budget and our time-frame. Trip of a lifetime - 5 star service from Audley

It’s really not surprising that Audley has a 95% five star rating. We have just returned from a long awaited trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. Dan, who initially organised our holiday for April 2023, went above and beyond to rearrange our trip when due to ill health, we were unable to make it that year. Not once was he phased by changing flights, hotels and at the last minute changing our daughter’s flight to come home earlier. The holiday was a dream from the professional and knowledgeable Agents used in both Vietnam and Cambodia to the private trips and experiences. We have used Audley in the past and will continue to use them again for future trips to Asia. In fact Dan is currently putting an itinerary together for November 2025!
