• What if the Weather is Bad? The safety of our passengers and crew is our top priority at all times. In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have established the following weather policy for our helicopter tours: Weather Monitoring: We will continuously monitor weather conditions in the area where our tours operate. Our pilots will use the most up-to-date weather information available to make informed decisions about flight operations. Tour Cancellation: If weather conditions are deemed unsafe for flight, we may cancel or delay the tour. In this case, the bookie will be given the option to reschedule their tour. If the bookie purchased weather insurance they are given the option for a full refund excluding the cost of the weather insurance. Pilot's Discretion: The final decision to fly or not will be at the pilot's discretion. If the pilot determines that the weather conditions are not suitable for flight, the tour will be cancelled or delayed. Weather Criteria: The following weather criteria will be used as a guide for the pilot's decision-making: Visibility: The pilot will ensure that visibility is sufficient for safe operation of the helicopter. Wind: The pilot will assess wind conditions and ensure that they are within safe limits for the type of helicopter being used. Cloud Ceiling: The pilot will determine that the cloud ceiling is high enough for safe operation of the helicopter and to ensure that passengers can see the intended sights. Precipitation: The pilot will not operate the helicopter in the presence of heavy rain or other severe weather conditions. Passenger Responsibility: It is the responsibility of passengers to inform us of any health or mobility concerns they have that may affect their ability to safely participate in the tour. Passengers must also dress appropriately for the weather conditions, and follow all safety instructions provided by the pilot. We believe that by adhering to this weather policy, we can provide our passengers with a safe and enjoyable helicopter tour experience.
• When Do I Arrive? Customers are expected to check into their flight 10-15 minutes before. This allows for adequate time to check in, receive a safety briefing, and board the helicopter. If you arrive more than 25 minutes late, you are subject to a $25 late fee. You must pay the late fee before boarding. If NOT, you will be denied your flight and receive no refund.
• What Do I Wear? Fly Heli does not have a dress code for our helicopter tours, however we have some tips to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Comfortable, non-restrictive clothing: Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move around freely. Avoid wearing tight or restrictive clothing that can limit your mobility and comfort during the flight. Closed-toe shoes: Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes with good traction to prevent slipping while boarding and disembarking the helicopter. Avoid wearing high heels or sandals. Hair ties: If you have long hair, tie it back to prevent it from flying into your face during boarding, disembarking, and flight. Hats: If you plan to wear a hat, choose one that fits securely and won't fly off during the flight. Avoid wearing hats with large brims that could obstruct your view. By following these guidelines, you'll be comfortable, safe, and ready to enjoy your helicopter tour.
• Will I go up exactly at my reservation time? The reservation time slot chosen at check out is when your group is required to check-in. It is NOT the time your flight begins. Wait times may vary. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be checked in by our staff members and added to the queue. They will inform you of the queue time if there is a wait.
• Can more than 3 riders go up at a time? The Robinson R-44 is the primary helicopter that makes up the Fly Heli fleet. It has 3 available seats for passengers. The maximum amount of passenger we can accommodate in one tour is 3. If you have a larger group the group will be split up evenly.
• Weather Policy & Weather Insurance WEATHER INSURANCE Weather insurance is $40 per flight. If Fly Heli cancels your tour due to unsafe weather conditions, Weather Insurance will guarantee you a full refund of your tickets along with any additional tour Add-Ons & Upgrades (excluding the weather insurance itself). We highly recommend weather insurance if you will not be able to reschedule your tour. Choosing to not purchase weather insurance will leave you with the options of rescheduling your flight OR receiving a booking credit. You can ONLY purchase weather insurance at the time of booking. Refused announce 2025 North American farewell tour as singer Dennis Lyxzén recovers from heart attack

Swedish hardcore punk heroes Refused will tour North America one last time before calling it a day in 2025

Refused have announced a farewell North American tour for 2025 as singer Dennis Lyxzén recovers from a massive heart attack.

The vocalist, 51, had a heart attack in June of this year, causing the band to pull out of a festival appearance in Sweden.

Now, with Lyxzén on the mend, the band have announced 14 North American dates for next year with Quicksand in support and confirmed these will be their farewell to the United states and Canada.

They have also suggested they'll bid farewell to fans elsewhere over the course of 2025, finishing in their homeland of Sweden.

Drummer David Sandström says: "In the beginning of this year we started making plans to have one last big hurrah, to make the end of the band a fun, generous, indulgent affair. And that's how it felt after the first show. It's the best we've ever sounded and we were really enjoying ourselves, tossing in old songs we haven't played since the nineties and even a Misfits cover.

"And then disaster struck. I visited Dennis in the hospital the day after he was admitted and true to form he was not happy about the hospital gown he was forced to wear.

"So on to the good news: Dennis is doing great. He's one of the healthiest dudes I know. He can't sit still, exercises a lot and it follows that his recuperation would be swift. He's gotten excellent care and his doctor has run all the physical tests on him and they all indicate he's making a full recovery.

"Needless to say, he's itching to get back on tour to play shows and he even suggested we should keep preliminary dates set up for the late fall and winter, but we decided to postpone those shows and instead start up in the spring.

"So yeah, that's where we're at. We're coming to the U.S. in March/April 2025 and we're looking at what else we can do with the rest of the year, all we know is that we want to finish back home in Sweden at the end of the year."
