Surprisingly the M4 felt significantly softer in the upper end of the shaft, ie. the butt and upper mid sections, the tip section/kick of the M4 felt a little softer and overall the M4 definitely produced a higher ball flight. Now this could be due to what I think is the M5 being a very good fit for me.
