Here's their policy on refunds: "Travel suppliers, group sponsors and/or Inspired Travel reserve the right to cancel or substitute any scheduled tour destination, hotel, restaurant, transportation carriers and/or pastor/teacher/guest artist at anytime for any reason without prior notice and shall not be liable for any loss to passengers by reason of such cancellation or substitutions." This policy is buried in the fine print (literally exceptionally small and in a lighter hue) of company policies at the end of the brochure. In short, Inspired Travel can virtually cancel or change your trip and keep your deposit - and you agreed to this by signing up with them. If you read the reviews listed you'll see this is a common occurrence. Don't be fooled by the "Inspired Travel" making you believe this is some kind of christian based company, which would employ christian based fairness in its practices - they do not.

Like many other reviews, I was bitten by the "non-refundable" deposit scam. Although my deposit was made nearly one year before the trip, Inspired Travel still denied my request for a refund based on the "brochure". This company sells out routinely for spots available, so my cancellation does not harm them financially. What do they do with everyone's money that they keep? The keep the entire deposit, not a percentage. I did call them with one question shortly after making the deposit, and they were rude and dismissive on the phone. They did not provide me the information I needed, even though I later learned they knew the answer, but just didn't tell me. How can a business get away with the type of unprofessional service? I write them a nice email after learning I would not be able to go in 2024, and asked for a refund. It took them a couple weeks to respond, and tell me no refund. It is such a shame that people cannot take the high road and be professional anymore. They can pad their pockets with money that was not earned or used by them for any expense. Buyer Beware.

I was booked on a trip to Israel with Inspired. My trip was cancelled by Inspired the month before traveling. Not only did it take four months to get a refund but they held back my $400 deposit on a trip they cancelled. I will never book with them again!

Very poor customer service. They don't follow up, they don't return calls or emails. Very limited office hours. I had to send three emails and two phone calls to request a refund that was suddenly "non-refundable". No where on their paperwork does it state this. I would NEVER use them again. If you do use them, make sure you get their cancellation policy in writing so that they can't make it up as they go along.

Where do I begin?? Storytime! So I booked a tour in October 2018 with my New Jersey church to leave for Israel April 2020. I get it, the pandemic happened. They moved us to October 2020. Then moved to April 2021. By April 2021, I had already moved to Texas and had no PTO accrued since I started a new job. I called and they rescheduled me to April 2022 with a different tour group and I was supposed to be refunded a difference between the 2 tour groups' costs - it's February 2022 and I never received it. Now that I'm in Texas, I needed a flight to Newark so I could connect to Tel Aviv. I called them again to find out my Israel flight times and found out the April 2022 trip was COMPLETELY CANCELED. I never any notification about this from Inspired Travel or the church attending the April 2022 tour. I had to email in writing to request a refund, and now they will not even give back a "$400 non refundable deposit" or the refund difference for switching groups. It absolutely should be refundable if you're constantly changing your times and then not even bother to notify the travelers of the cancelation (how is this even possible??) Now I have to wait up to 120 days to receive a refund check I don't even know I will get since it's been 6 months since the last one was supposedly sent out. For a "Christian" organization they sure do like to steal and then lie about it. I would never recommend this travel agency.

My wife and I put down a deposit for an 11/2021 tour to Israel through our church. Inspired Travel unilaterally changed the dates of the travel to 11/2022 that doesn't work for us. When I requested a refund, I was told that no refund was available per their refund policy. My "contract" was for a 2021 tour, so it is disingenuous/unethical/possible illegal for them to unilaterally change the contract and then enforce the terms of the original contract. They were unable/unwilling to deliver the product for which we contracted. You and your church should strongly consider using a more ethical Christian tour company. This is NOT a trustworthy company.

My review will not be much different than the other 1 star reviews I read (unfortunately I read those reviews AFTER I had already booked a church trip with them). The non refundable aspect of the $400 pp deposit is definitely not very clearly expressed, it took 3 emails and 2 phone calls (message machine) to finally get a reply. I was told to be patient about a refund as it could take 3 months (seriously?). After no reply in 3 months I had to reach out again and finally got a reply after 5 months that I was not entitled to a refund. I expressed that I gave a deposit 6+ months before the trip was scheduled and that I couldn't imagine how they expended $400 worth of work on me in the 1-2 months they had my deposit. I even expressed that we had very unusual extenuating circumstances (medical issues with family that developed only a couple months after giving the deposit) but that seemed to fall on deaf ears. I would be very hesitant to book ANY trip that involved this company.

Tour of Israel. A flight of 15 hours that would be a spectacular visit of a lifetime. Our Calvary Chapel, several others booked flights and had a great time. We landed in Tel Aviv, cleared customs, and buses brought us to our hotel. That night I walked the beach in front of the hotel, Listening to a group of Israeli teenagers playing music. As the sunset was in the distance and a lone wind-surfer was on the water. A dream of mine that was finally fulfilled. The next day, began a touring of Joppa that sat 4 miles south of Tel Aviv. Such beautiful terrain and such biblical sites and references. We stopped at Honey Beach and had the most delicious hummus. Sitting on the beach, the sun beating down on us... Sooo relaxing. Off we went touring Jericho, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, The Dead Sea, and the Sea of Galilee.. The Jordan River.. where we stopped. And we had a Ceremonial baptism in the Jordan River. Then off to the Tree of Mt Olives and look down on Jeruselum. The road where Jesus walked down to the gates and they laid palms on the ground. The place where he carried the cross, the aledged tomb of Jesus. So much, so fast, as those two weeks vanished. But deep inside, I knew Israel was always on guard. I took photos of the soldiers, tanks, and humvees, troop carriers. I heard the fighter jets fly over us when we were at Masada. We could hear several booms in the distance... I knew it wasn't a car back-firing...but it was actual taking care of business I saw the checkpoints, guard towers, and bunkers.. I looked down from a military observation point on a high point in Israel. And saw Lebanon, Syria and Israel boundries. (See photos) Deep down...such a small country, but a strong country. Such a beautiful country, with weather identical to ours. Beautiful and green in Northern Israel, And desert like conditions like Palm Springs on Southern Israel. And when I left our tour guides whom we became friends with. We shook hands, shed tears and then left a beautiful country. That we were proud to have gone to To see where Jesus walked and lived in His last days on earth. Thank you Inspired Travel for organizing all this as I laid back and relaxed. Everything included..flights w snacks and meals , Hotels and meals, tips, tour buses, boat tour, and everything else came to almost $3800.00 for two whole weeks.

My husband and I paid $8,000 to attend the tour of Isreal trip April 2020. Understandably, the trip was canceled due to COV-19 and was rescheduled for 2021. I was advised that once the dates were rescheduled and the dates did not work for us we would be able to request a refund. When we completed this action we were told that the airfare would not be refunded (per Bill at Inspired travel). We contacted the church and was given the run around that there was nothing they could do. When my wife requested the air line name and number she was advised that they would not provide this as it was a group travel rate!!!! As new believers we did not expect to be treated in this manner from a Christian organization!

This travel agency screwed over my mother. She is a beginner traveler, and they made multiple mistakes with handling her business. They didn't help her plan out her airfare and because of this mistake it cost her more than $2000 in addition to anyone else in her traveling group. I would NOT recommend anyone travel with this agency.

Another fabulous holiday organised by…

Another fabulous holiday organised by Wix Squared . We took our four young adult children to the Constance Halaveli in the Maldives. What a wonderful time for all of the family. Plenty of activities and fun for us all and the kids had their own two story villa with pool. All the stress of planning and travelling was taken care of by Alex and the team. Even when there was the threat of missing a connection Wix Squared beavered away , even through the night, to make sure we would make our flights, which we did. Thank you Alex, Sheena and the team. Best trip ever!

Our trip through Wix was EPIC! A huge part of that was the amazing tour guides we had throughout the trip in India, especially Jay in Jaipur. They were all so attentive and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. We did not have to organise anything, it was all taken care of by Wix - this was a huge bonus for me personally as I am usually the one organising everyone and everything :-) The hotels we stayed at were also impeccable with some of the best service I've ever seen. I can't sing the praises enough for the whole trip, it was so fun!

Maldives Honeymoon

A superb travel company

Wix Squared was superb every step of the way from suggesting the destination and itinerary to the booking process and finally providing support and information during our trip to Marrakech. Their app was brilliant and contained everything we could have needed during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and Sheena went out of her way to ensure that we had the best possible experience. The Riad was stunning with wonderful, helpful staff and delicious food and in a fabulous location. We were paired with a fantastic local driver and this made our stay even more special and stress-free. We would not hesitate to recommend Wix Squared and will be using them again.

Unforgettable

After the Covid lockdowns I was a bit anxious about travelling but booking a holiday with Wix Squared was the best thing I could have done. Everything was so well planned out including arranging PCR testing and checking the hotels were all Covid safe. I travelled solo in Morocco for 18 days and every day was a new experience from sunset camel rides, cooking classes, horse rides on the beach, souk food tours, hiking.. the list goes on. I stayed in a variety of cities/towns and all had their own vibe and each hotel was remarkable in their own way from the design, the views and the service. The restaurant recommendations list was extensive and incredibly useful as well as general local advice all available via their app. It was a truly exceptional experience and I am already looking at other destinations to explore with Wix Squared in the next few months.

Another Great Holiday Planned by Alex Wix

I asked Alex to plan a trip to Morocco for me and a friend, after she had previously planned a perfect vacation for me in southeast Asia. Her plan for Morocco turned out to be perfect too. We had a rough idea of what we wanted to do and see, but Alex sensibly narrowed our ambitious goals to a more manageable and leisurely paced holiday considering our time and budget. She combined several days in the foothills of the Atlas mountains with a full day in the Agafay desert, and three full days in Marrakesh. She arranged for transportation, guides and tickets as needed, and allowed plenty of time for us to explore on our own. Most important, she found accommodations that were better than those I had found on my own in a similar price range. Alex above all is a good listener; in both of my travel experiences with her she carefully listed to what I wanted to achieve and carefully matched her recommendations to my objectives. I recommend her highly. It is worth the extra investment for the peace of mind and local experience Alex brings to the table.

Magical Moroccan Experience!

Alex planned the most perfect and magical trip to Morocco for us and our families. She really listened to what was important to us and we left feeling we had the exact right amount of time in each place as well as a true taste of Morocco. Each day we awoke to a different experience that both delighted and astounded. Each day surpassed the next! Our Riad in Marrakech was perfection. The meals she planned for us, particularly in her husband’s restaurant ‘Le Trou Au Mur’ were delicious and restaurants atmospheric. The side-car adventure delighted both us and our children. She seems to stay on top of new activities and adventures so that her clients get the best of all options. The magical birthday in the desert at Scarabeo camp complete with rose petals and candles covering our table and a cake and serenade for our children was their most perfect party to date. And she arranged it all last minute! We needed 2 connected rooms or a suite in each place and she made it happen. Her suggestion to spend our last nights relaxing in the High Atlas Mountains was spot on. We applaud each choice she made and thank her for graciously answering our almost daily texts with questions while we were on our trip . All of our guides spoke of her reputation for beautifully customizing each trip and making it far from a cookie- cutter experience. Our friends who just came back from a trip to Morocco were extremely jealous and said her trip far exceeded theirs ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

Beloved Morocco

Last year we decided on a whim that Morocco would be our next big destination. We found Alex's name in Conde Nast Traveler magazine, sent a note, and she called me back within minutes. That initial conversation was easy and thorough. Alex was prepared and experienced enough to listen to what we wanted to do, learn what kind of traveler's we are (experienced), what we thought we would want to do, budget (not huge), potential dates/flexibility, and asked about any special needs. Within a couple of days she provided a detailed itinerary with recommended locations and suggested activities. It was the easiest trip we ever planned, and we went with her suggestions. We were thrilled to stay in beautiful riads, enjoyed guides in Marrakesh for short, private tours, had a lovely visit from Alex at our convenience, and then a private guide and driver for the remainder of our trip throughout the country, (our happened to have just won third place at an international competition for best travel guides in the world). Overall, we were delighted, and surprised, at how much she fit in within our budget. While talking to other traveler's during dinners, we often found that we had the best of everything. We definitely fell in love with Morocco and we are looking forward to arranging our next exotic trip with Alex, hopefully in 2021.

Magical Morocco

Our trip to Morocco was inspiring, comprehensive (despite our limited time there) and virtually stress-free thanks to Alex’s knowledge and guidance. Our accommodations were superb, the restaurant recommendations were excellent and the planned activities were varied and fun without being overwhelming or “tourist-y”. We plan to visit again to explore the places we couldn’t fit into this trip, and with Alex to guide us we’ll look forward to experiencing yet more of the best of Morocco.

Inflated Pricing and terrible customer service

I rang and spoke to an agent today telling him I found a return flight which included 2 checked in bags for £967 directly on the airlines website. The agent told me the same flight through inspire was over £1200! when I asked why it was cheaper on the airlines website and why I should book through Inspire, he said there were no benefits and some people just preferred to book through agents. He didn't really care and just said to go direct to the airlines. Inspire inflated the price by nearly £300! This is outrageous and the customer service was appalling! Would never recommend!

Hi Olusegun, I understand one of my agents is looking at this for you as I type and we can in fact always try to match what you have found on the direct sites But please do take into account all taxes and fees that are applied. we are governed by the prices of the airline, However you are referring to us matching the price you were quoted last year, Which of course what the airlines charge from one year to the next is totally out of our control.

Absolutely terrible company

Absolutely terrible company, completely backwards, not only is the website etc rubbish but secret cancellation fees on booking (which is not in any documents received from them) mean that you can't cancel even when it is a cancelable.

The customer service advisor whose name is Paul was very helpful and professional. I thought he was very kind and patient and when I wasn't sure of something he clarified. He seems to know his job as he was telling me about the hotel booked saying its very good and such.

The overall experience in trying to find somewhere suitable wasnt good. Ihad looked a lot and just didnt understand it, but in the end the guy who helped named Paul was most helpful and im so happy he came along and helped me.

Absolute con

Absolute con. I shall be reporting this company to trading standards. I called up to try and book flights with this company and found they wanted much more than I could book direct for. I was told they had to make money out of the flights and that is why they add money on. I was told it would be better use of my vouchers that our children bought us for xmas and birthdays to book a holiday. I advised the operator that I don't book package holidays and he advised me there was nothing he could do he was just a sales person. There are so many others saying this and I am sure the good reviews are not genuine or they don't realise they are being conned
