"The Eagles have had a miraculous 52-year odyssey, performing for people all over the globe, keeping the music alive in the face of tragic losses, upheavals and setbacks of many kinds," the band said in a statement. "Credit and thanks go to our longtime management team, our dedicated road crew, and our exceptional backup musicians for providing skilled and steadfast support, throughout these many years. We know how fortunate we are, and we are truly grateful.

"Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed. But, everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle. The official farewell tour is currently in the planning stages. We want to give all our fans a chance to see us on this final round. So, scheduling information will be released as dates are set. The difficulties of booking venues for multiple nights may require us to return to certain cities, depending on demand.

"But we hope to see as many of you as we can before we finish up. Most importantly, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for embracing this band and its music. At the end of the day, you are the reason we have been able to carry on for over five decades. This is our swan song, but the music goes on and on."

High-res photos HERE

LOS ANGELES , July 6, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — After more than 50 years of touring, and consistently selling out arenas and stadiums worldwide, the Eagles announced today that their upcoming “The Long Goodbye”  will be the band’s final tour.

Thirteen shows will be initially announced. The first set of dates will begin September 7, 2023 , in New York .

The Eagles’ long-time contemporaries and fellow Hall of Famers, Steely Dan,  will be joining these historic shows and commemorating their own 50+ year career.

Presale tickets and VIP packages will be available starting Wednesday, July 12 for all announced shows. The general on-sale will start Friday, July 14 at 10:00 AM local time.

During “The Long Goodbye,” the Eagles – Don Henley , Joe Walsh , Timothy B. Schmit , with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey – will perform as many shows in each market as their audience demands. The tour is expected to continue into 2025.

Over the band’s more than 50 years of touring, the Eagles have performed more than 1,000 concerts around the world, accounting for more than 15 million tickets. Eagles’ tours have consistently ranked in the Top 10 of both concert industry publications, Billboard and Pollstar .

In the Fall of 1971, the Eagles formed, pioneered, and personified a uniquely American musical style blending country, folk, R&B, rock, and pop sensibilities, and would go onto become one of the most creatively and commercially successful bands of all time.  In today’s faddish, fractured, rock landscape, the Eagles retain an appeal that transcends both generation and genre, cementing the band’s role as enduring musical icons.

The Eagles have sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, scored six #1 albums, and topped the singles charts five times. They earned six GRAMMY Awards, were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, in their very first year of eligibility, and received the Kennedy Center Honors in 2016.

The band’s Greatest Hits 1971-1977 is the best-selling album in history, with the RIAA certifying the collection at 38-times Platinum.  Hotel California is the third best-selling U.S. album in history, certified 26-times Platinum.  After its release in 1976, it topped the charts and earned two GRAMMY Awards for “New Kid In Town” and “Hotel California.”

The “Long Goodbye” tour is proudly presented by Live Nation.

Despite initial uncertainties expressed by Don Henley during their BST Hyde Park headline concert in 2022 about a possible return to European shores, the Eagles have put those doubts to rest.

In a surprising turn of events, they've announced a three-show residency at Manchester's Co-op Live in May and June 2024.

To add to the excitement, it has been confirmed that Steely Dan will be the supporting act for each of the scheduled concerts.

The Eagles

These farewell performances will see the band, comprising Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B Schmit, Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey, celebrating over 50 years of their illustrious musical career.

The Eagles will grace Manchester with their presence from May 31st to June 4th, 2024, for a three-night residency.

The band said in a statement: "The Eagles have had a miraculous 52-year odyssey, performing for people all over the globe; keeping the music alive in the face of tragic losses, upheavals and setbacks of many kinds."

"Credit and thanks go to our longtime management team, our dedicated road crew, and our exceptional backup musicians for providing skilled and steadfast support, throughout these many years."

"We know how fortunate we are, and we are truly grateful. Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed," they continue.

"But, everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle. The official farewell tour is currently underway. We want to give all our fans a chance to see us on this final round. So, scheduling information will be released as dates are set."

"The difficulties of booking venues for multiple nights may require us to return to certain cities, depending on demand. But, we hope to see as many of you as we can, before we finish up."

"Most importantly, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for embracing this band and its music. At the end of the day, you are the reason we have been able to carry on for over five decades. This is our swan song, but the music goes on and on."

Additionally, a date at the GelreDome in Arnhem, Holland, has been confirmed. The statement suggests the possibility of the band considering other cities if the demand for their performances persists.

Anticipate a nostalgic journey through their timeless repertoire, including classics like 'Hotel California,' 'Take It Easy,' 'One Of These Nights,' and 'Desperado.' The band will also pay homage to their co-founder and original bassist, Randy Meisner, who passed away in 2023 and performed lead vocals on 'Take It To The Limit.'

For those eager to secure their spot, tickets go on general sale on Friday, January 26th, 2024, at 10am GMT. Alternatively, fans can access pre-sales at the same link from Wednesday, January 24th, 2024, at 10am GMT.

Eagles Continue to Add Dates to Final Tour

Eagles have announced a 2024 residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. The group resumed their farewell tour in January with four concerts in Los Angeles; they wrap up a brief European and U.K. visit on June 15. Tickets for all of the shows are available here . See the complete itinerary below.

After more than 50 years of touring, and consistently selling out arenas and stadiums worldwide, the Eagles announced on July 6, 2023, that “The Long Goodbye” would be the band’s final tour. The first (of many) shows began September 7 at New York’s Madison Square Garden, the first of seven concerts in the northeast that month. The Eagles’ long-time contemporaries, Steely Dan, were selected to join these historic shows and commemorating their own 50+ year career. However, Donald Fagen had an unspecified illness and missed many of the November 2023 dates. And for the U.K. and European shows, the Doobie Brothers filled in for Steely Dan as the opening act.

During “The Long Goodbye,” the Eagles – Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey – will perform as many shows in each market as their audience demands. The tour, presented by Live Nation, is expected to continue into 2025. They’ve also released a new, career-spanning collection, To The Limit , in April 2024.

Credit and thanks go to our longtime management team, our dedicated road crew, and our exceptional backup musicians for providing skilled and steadfast support, throughout these many years. This is our swan song, but the music goes on and on.”

With love and gratitude, The Eagles

Sure hope they come to Canada or at least Northeastern USA . There will always be a following

How a band can have a 52 year career with only one original member, and the drummer at that is beyond me, especially, when half of the original band is still alive, ( Randy & Bernie ), and the first added member ( Don F ) …. People gave CC Revisited flack about not having the original guys, but Cook & Cosmo had 50% of CCR on stage every night they played, much more than Henley does. This is an act that should’ve stopped when Glen passed. People use to make jokes when The Drifters or the Coasters, or any of those do wop bands went out performing w only one original member, how Henley got everyone not to question his motives in calling his act “The Eagles” is saying a lot. Even Jeff Lynne renamed ELO for his tours. Oh well, it goes back to that old Carney saying “there’s one born every minute”. Nothing against Vince or Timothy or Joe, just don’t call it “The Eagles” when 50% of the original band is not in it .

Bk

Great music is still great music. The harmonies and playing are still tight. Sounds like sour grapes to me. Sorry you are going to miss some of the best music made in 50 years

DANIEL

Always been the Eagles and always will be. When Mickey Mantle left the Yankees, they still call them the Yankees. If you don’t like the music, don’t listen.

Gene

I have seen the Eagles multiple times as far back as the mid 1970s and I can tell you that without a doubt they are as good the today as the first time I saw them at the Cotton Bowl in ’75

Walton

Will the Eagles be in Oklahoma, Kansas or Texas on their last tour? There are 100’s of 1000’s of their fans who would like to see them. Please help with this. We need to hear and see them One more time. Please help and reply ASAP. Thanks so much for your time and consideration on this matter!

Please come to Los Angeles, or somewhere close, I would love to see The Eagles. I’ve been to many concerts but always missed the Eagles.

Why do I get the feeling the Eagles “Farewell Tours” are going to be much like those of Cher and Elton John?

Jill

Don has major back issues and always said he didn’t want to tour without a Frey.. This is the final TOUR most likely, but just like Dead and Co they will still perform

Fred

This will be an interesting tour with Steely Dan being the support act. WIth SD being heavily jazz influences and the The Eagles being heavily country influenced. Who’s idea was this anyway? Love Best Classic Bands. Read it every morning. Thanks FS

They have shared the same bill for many years .. not strange at all

Grasshopper

Got to see Eagles just after Glenn passed, great then as always. These guys have been on the road, together or solo, for many years. Time for family they missed growing up and take care of themselves. Thanks for many years of music guys and your family

Poor debber

I will always play Eagles music. If ever there was a heaven on Earth, it’s been an Eagles concert. They all still make me swoon. They were the pretty boys at hotel California. The stories they need to tell us… are still a mystery. This Long good bye is killing me.

From Jan. 5 through March 16, legendary classic rockers The Eagles are returning to the road with special guest Steely Dan as part of their ongoing farewell ‘The Long Goodbye Tour’ which they’ve teased will run until 2025.

Along the way, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Deacon Frey, Vince Gill and co. will swing into major cities — for possibly the final time — like Phoenix , St. Louis , Houston , Orlando and Chicago .

And if you want to hear “Take It Easy,” “One Of These Nights,” “Tequila Sunrise,” “Life In The Fast Lane” and “Hotel California” one or two more times this year, it isn’t too late to scoop up last-minute tickets.

Don Henley rocks out on guitar.

As of now, tickets are available for all 22 remaining gigs on the run.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find to see the 1998 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees live was $150 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Other shows have tickets starting anywhere from $160 to $600 before fees.

The Eagles concert review

According to  Variety , The Eagles’ live show “easily competes with the likes of Taylor Swift and Beyoncé for tour of the year.”

For more about Deacon Frey, Joe Walsh, Don Henley, Vince Gill and what covers the band worked into their debut farewell concert at MSG back in September 2023, you can read their thorough review  here .

The Eagles band members

When you’ve been living life in the fast lane since 1971 (!), a bit of shuffling when it comes to your group’s lineup is to be expected.

Still, to this day, 76-year-old, founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to tour with the group.

On the road, he’ll be joined by 76-year-old Joe Walsh (also of the James Gang), 76-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist, played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner 66-year-old Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 31-year-old son Deacon.

Over the course of their illustrious career, the band has racked up six Grammy awards, performed over 1000 concerts and sold 150 million albums.

The Eagles set list

Now that The Eagles have returned to the road, we’ve got a better idea of what they’re playing live this time around.

Based on our findings at  Set List FM , here’s what you’ll likely hear from the band when they come to a venue near you.

01.) “Seven Bridges Road” (Steve Young cover) 02.) “Take It Easy”

03.) “One of These Nights” 04.) “New Kid in Town” 05.) “Take It to the Limit” 06.) “Best of My Love” 07.) “Witchy Woman” 08.) “Peaceful Easy Feeling” (Jack Tempchin cover) 09.) “Tequila Sunrise” 10.) “In the City” (Joe Walsh song) 11.) “I Can’t Tell You Why” 12.) “Lyin’ Eyes” 13.) “Life’s Been Good” (Joe Walsh song) 14.) “Already Gone” (Jack Tempchin cover) 15.) “The Boys of Summer” (Don Henley song) 16.) “Funk #49” (James Gang cover) 17.) “Life in the Fast Lane”

18.) “Heartache Tonight” Encore:

19.) “Rocky Mountain Way” (Joe Walsh song) 20.) “Desperado” 21.) “Hotel California”

Most recently, jazzy rockers Steely Dan toured all over North America in summer 2022 as part of their ‘Earth After Hours Tour.’

These days, the band is led by Donald Fagen; his co-founder Walter Becker passed away in 2017.

If you want to catch up on the band’s hits (we know you do), you can hear “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number,” “Hey 19,” “Kid Charlemagne,” “Do It Again,” “Reelin’ In The Years” and so many more  right here, right now .

Who is Currently Performing with The Eagles? An In-Depth Guide to the Legendary Band’s Current Lineup

Who is Currently Performing with The Eagles

The Eagles are undeniably one of the most iconic and best-selling bands in rock n‘ roll history. Since forming in Los Angeles in 1971, the band has crafted an extensive catalogue of timeless hits and created a legacy that cemented their status as musical legends. While the Eagles disbanded in 1980, they reunited in 1994 for the wildly successful Hell Freezes Over tour and have been actively touring and recording ever since.

However, in recent years the band suffered the tragic loss of two integral founding members – guitarist Glenn Frey passed away in 2016 and guitarist Bernie Leadon passed in 2021. Despite this, the surviving original members and talented new additions are determined to keep the Eagles‘ spirit alive by continuing to perform their catalog of classics to appreciative audiences around the world.

Let‘s take an in-depth look at the stellar cast of musicians currently flying the Eagles banner and keeping their musical legacy soaring.

Founding Members Still Anchor the Band

Founding Members Still Anchor the Band

The two remaining original continuous members providing a strong foundation in the current Eagles lineup are drummer and vocalist Don Henley and guitarist and vocalist Joe Walsh .

Henley, along with Glenn Frey, founded the band back in 1971 and for many fans is the distinctive voice that defines the Eagles sound. In addition to his immaculate drumming, Henley sang lead on hits like “One of These Nights”, “The Long Run” and “The Boys of Summer”. Walsh first joined the band in 1975 in time for their career-defining Hotel California album. His fierce guitar playing is all over Eagles classics like “Life in the Fast Lane” and “Pretty Maids All in a Row”.

Both Henley and Walsh also cultivated massively successful solo careers over the years in addition to their contributions as Eagles. However, they remain dedicated to the band that made them global superstars. According to Ultimate Classic Rock critic Dave Lifton, Henley and Walsh provide “both the musical foundation and institutional knowledge that helps the rest of this lineup excel.”

Vince Gill Adds New Dimensions to the Band

Vince Gill Adds New Dimensions to the Band

After Glenn Frey‘s tragic and unexpected passing in 2016, the band recruited acclaimed country musician Vince Gill to come in and try to fill the large void left by one of their primary vocalists and songwriters. While certainly a daunting task, Gill has excelled beyond expectations by bringing his own flair and style to the band‘s catalogue of hits.

In addition to being a highly skilled guitarist with his own distinctive tone, Gill is known for his pure, smooth tenor voice that melds perfectly with harmonic-rich Eagles songs. His country music pedigree combined with rock sensibilities have added exciting new facets to the band.

According to Don Henley, Gill has been “a perfect fit musically and personally” and his addition to the band has reinvigorated their live performances. Fans who were initially skeptical have fully embraced Gill‘s energy and vocal talents.

Deacon Frey Joins to Honor His Father

Deacon Frey Joins to Honor His Father

In 2017, Glenn Frey‘s son Deacon Frey also officially joined the Eagles lineup for live shows. Deacon had previously toured with the band alongside his father and was determined to help continue his dad‘s musical legacy. Still in his 20s, Deacon contributes his talents on vocals, guitar, piano, and mandolin during concerts and has been enthusiastically welcomed into the Eagles family.

According to Don Henley, “Deacon‘s energy and passion for this music is inspiring. The band loves him, and so do the fans.” Having Deacon join to take over his father‘s vocals adds even more emotion and heart to the band‘s performances. Deacon has more than lived up to his father‘s legacy, helping the Eagles soar to new heights.

Timothy B. Schmit Anchors Them on Bass since the 70s

Timothy B. Schmit Anchors

While not an original founding member, bassist and vocalist Timothy B. Schmit has been with the band since 1979 after replacing original bassist Randy Meisner. Schmit‘s crystal clear tenor voice and high harmonies have become a staple of the Eagles‘ trademark sound.

Schmit sang lead vocals on hit singles like “I Can‘t Tell You Why” and has been providing the steady rhythmic foundation on bass throughout the band‘s live concerts and studio recordings for over 40 years now. His musical chemistry with Henley, Walsh, Gill, and Deacon Frey is seamless and helps recreate that classic Eagles magic fans have loved for decades.

Key Stats on the Legendary Eagles:

  • 6 Grammy Awards Won
  • 150+ million albums sold worldwide
  • 5 number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart
  • 240+ weeks total on the Billboard 200 album charts
  • $250+ million in concert grosses since reuniting in 1994
  • Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998

Hotel California 2022 Tour Electrifies Audiences

The current incarnation of the Eagles has been thrilling audiences on their Hotel California 2022 tour across North America. Their concerts see the band perform their entire iconic 1976 album Hotel California from start to finish before treating fans to a long set filled with other classics from their unparalleled catalog.

Reviews of the new lineup have been glowing, with critics and fans raving about the fresh energy and outstanding musicianship Gill and Deacon Frey have brought to the legendary band.

Here‘s a look at what each member brings to the table musically when the Eagles take the stage in 2022:

  • Don Henley – Lead vocals, drums, percussion
  • Joe Walsh – Lead guitar, rhythm guitar, keyboards, vocals
  • Vince Gill – Guitar, mandolin, vocals
  • Deacon Frey – Guitar, piano, vocals
  • Timothy B. Schmit – Bass guitar, vocals

It‘s evident that – even with the passing of key original members Glenn Frey and Bernie Leadon – the Eagles‘ spirit and top-notch musicianship continues to thrive thanks to this stellar current lineup. The band sounds as tight as ever and their shows consistently garner rave reviews.

Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Deacon Frey, and Vince Gill all possess tremendous individual talent while also demonstrating an ensemble cohesion that allows them to soar through the Eagles catalog with ease. Their passion and commitment to honoring the Eagles‘ musical legacy is apparent through ever note they play.

For long-time fans or newcomers just discovering their music, the current Eagles lineup delivers a live concert experience that reminds the world why they are one of the most beloved and enduring American rock bands of all time.

About the Eagles

In the Fall of 1971, the Eagles formed, pioneered, and personified a uniquely American musical style, blending country, folk, R&B, rock, and pop sensibilities, and would go onto become one of the most creatively and commercially successful bands of all time.

RUSSIA: ROCK BAND THE EAGLES PERFORM IN MOSCOW FOR THE FIRST TIME

  • Title: RUSSIA: ROCK BAND THE EAGLES PERFORM IN MOSCOW FOR THE FIRST TIME
  • Date: 29th May 2001
  • Summary: (REUTERS -ACCESS ALL) SMV . (SOUNDBITE) (English) FREY SAYING: It's an advantage maybe for us to go first and play here first. We haven't been on the road for 7 weeks, it's an unknown here. SCU (SOUNDBITE) (English) JOE WALSH SAYING: We've really never been here and that adds a little bit more magic for us you know, London we know the drill, but it's really like magic for us to come here and see Red Square and see everything and think wow and it adds a little mystique to the concert and I'm glad we're doing it this way.

  • Story Text: Thirty years after they began touring the world and entertaining millions, legendary rockers The Eagles have finally landed in Moscow for their first-ever concert in the Russian capital. After five years apart, The Eagles have decided to reform for a seven-week tour of Europe. Reuters caught up with the group on the day that the tour kicked off. It was a true case of east-meeting-west when the band of four who had never played in Moscow before, were finally able to perform live for their Russian fans. But before they got down to the business of entertaining, Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Timothy B. Schmit and Joe Walsh did a spot of sightseeing, starting off in Moscow's most famous landmark, Red Square. Boy, were they impressed. The last time the band toured was in 1996 when they embarked on a global tour which was set to last six months. Due to demand combined with a certain wanderlust, The Eagles ended up being on the road for two and a half years. This time they say, it'll be different. Thrilled to be in Moscow for their debut Russian concert, the band who have sold more than 100 million albums world-wide since they formed in 1971, revealed there was another purpose for the tour. Although they insisted they didn't really want to discuss the subject, and wanted to just concentrate on having a blast on tour, one of the principle reasons for going back on tour again was so that the fifty-somethings, could adapt to playing together again in preparation for a new studio album. When The Eagles end their tour in July, they're heading straight for Los Angeles where they're set to work on their first studio album of all-new material for 22 years. And already, the pressure is mounting. The band is responsible for two of the best-selling albums in history. Their 'Greatest Hits: 1971-75' currently tops the best-selling albums of all time chart having recently knocked Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' off the number one spot. It has sold a staggering 27 million albums alone. 'Hotel California' album released in 1976 currently holds the number 15 position with 15 million albums sold. Expectations are bound to be high, but drummer/vocalist Don Henley refuses to be intimidated by the huge amount of interest the announcement has created. After the spine-tingling performance in Moscow which saw the band performing old favourites like 'Hotel California and 'New Kid in Town' in front of an audience of 17,000 fans, The Eagles are heading for Scandinavia. Next destination is Finland followed by Sweden and Norway and the band will then move on to Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and Italy. --

I loved every second of it. Small venues are always the best, because you can get closer and almost feel like you are in the show rather just watching it.

Great band, great energy and even banter. Totally recommend them

How much are Philadelphia Eagles 2024 home game tickets?

Vivid Seats is the New York Post’s official ticketing partner. We may receive revenue from this partnership for sharing this content and/or when you make a purchase.

The Birds are about to fly.

On Sept. 6, the Philadelphia Eagles will kick off the 2024 season against the Green Bay Packers in São Paulo, Brazil as part of the NFL’s international series.

A little over a week later, Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, Devonta Smith and the squad return to their own Lincoln Financial Field for the first official home game of the season against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday, Sept. 16.

And the pressure is on.

Last year, the Eagles started the season 10-1 before imploding and finishing 11-6, making them the first team in NFL history to start 10-1 and not win at least 12 games. Their first-round exit in the postseason against the Buccaneers did them no favors either.

This time around, Sirianni’s stacked squad hopes to start just as strong as they did in 2023 and finish with a bang.

If you want to be there to help them out — contributing to a “Fly Eagles Fly” chant might do the trick —  tickets are available for all eight home games at Lincoln Financial Field .

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets was $119 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Other games have seats starting anywhere from $120 to $182 before fees.

Looking to find the game that makes the most sense for your schedule?

There is no shortage of ways to watch Eagles games live from the comfort of your own home this season.

You can find Sirianni’s stacked squad on ABC, CBS, ESPN, Fox, NBC and the NFL Network on select dates.

Through the regular season, most NFC games will be broadcast on Fox.

For specialty games, “Sunday Night Football” can be found on NBC along with Peacock, “Monday Night Football” is reserved for ESPN and “Thursday Night Football” streams on Amazon Prime Video.

The Eagles aren’t the only show in town.

Here are just five of the concerts we’re most excited about headed to Minneapolis these next few months.

2024 Tour Championship tee times, pairings: Complete schedule, TV coverage, groups for Round 2 at East Lake

Will scottie scheffler further pull away from the field in the fedex cup playoffs finale.

The Memorial Tournament presented by Workday - Final Round

Scottie Scheffler is now the clear favorite to win the 2024 Tour Championship and $25 million first prize that goes with capturing the FedEx Cup. After opening with a 6-under 65, Scheffler will be paired with someone who shot the second best score of the first round, Collin Morikawa.

A two-time major champion, Morikawa rose from No. 7 in the FedEx Cup standings all the way to T2 with his 5-under 65. He surpassed everyone but Scheffler and Xander Schauffele, with whom he is now tied at 9 under. That duo is seven back of Scheffler, who is at 16 under after his 65.

Schauffele got booted from the final 2 p.m. pairing and will play with one of the hottest players in the world right now, Adam Scott. Scott shot a 66 on Thursday and gets a prime tee time alongside Schauffele at 1:49 p.m. ET.

Those aren't the only must-see tee times, though. Ryder Cup players Sam Burns and Wyndham Clark will go just before the final two pairs at 1:38 p.m. Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas, with six majors between them, will tee off together at 12:49 p.m. after J.T. shot a 66 of his own to jump into the top 15 on the leaderboard. European Ryder Cup stars Ludvig Åberg and Sepp Straka will tee off 90 minutes before the McIlroy-J.T. pairing at 12:16 p.m.

Add it all up, and it should be another wonderful day of golf at the newly-renovated East Lake Golf in Atlanta. The best player in the world is out in front. Everyone else is giving chase. And there's over $80 million on the line across the next 54 holes.

Here's a look at all 15 tee times on Friday. Be sure to check out a complete Tour Championship TV schedule and coverage guide so you know where to watch the FedEx Cup Playoffs finale.

Troubadour Project kicks off MSU’s Lyceum Series with ’70s rock revival

Contact: Lexi Holdiness

STARKVILLE, Miss.—The Troubadour Project, a ’70s rock tribute band, will kick off MSU’s 77th Lyceum Series with transformative classics from the decade.

Portrait of '70s rock revival band The Troubadour Project.

The Atlanta-based rockers perform at 7 p.m., Sept. 10, in Lee Hall’s Bettersworth Auditorium. Admission for Lyceum Series events are free for MSU students with a valid ID, and general public tickets are available for purchase at msstate.universitytickets.com . Individual tickets are $30 per person and $25 for MSU employees and senior citizens. Season and mini-series passes also are available.

Performances by The Troubadour Project are more than covers by a tribute band—they are a celebration of iconic hits that transformed rock’n’roll history. The band captures the essence of the ’70s by faithfully recreating the legendary sounds from groups and artists including Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and ELO. Several of the members were touring musicians who supported Sugarland, Jennifer Nettles, Sheryl Crow, Noel Gallagher, Elton Live! and more.

The Lyceum Series is MSU’s longest running performance art series and a staple of the university’s dedication to the arts. For more information, visit studentactivities.msstate.edu/lyceum/tickets .
