Trending on billboard.

The announcement comes more than two years after the Mathematics Tour kicked off in 2022, which ended with Sheeran selling more concert tickets that year than any other musical act. In July, the “Bad Habits” singer confirmed that the trek would finally end in 2025, unveiling a final set of European dates for spring and summer next year.

“We have one more year of this tour then Mathematics is over for good, and onto the next set of symbols…,” he added in his post, seemingly teasing his next era.

Sheeran released the first of his math-themed albums in 2011, with + marking his breakthrough into global stardom. Since then, he’s fleshed out the series with four more albums, three of which — = , ÷ and = — topped the Billboard 200 and helped make him Billboard ‘s 24th greatest pop star of the 21st century.

In other news, Sheeran will enter his third set of court proceedings over his songwriting , with the musician set to face a jury trial following a suit from a stakeholder in the estate of Marvin Gaye ‘s co-writer.

Ed Sheeran

The ruling came last month (September 29) from Judge Louis Stanton, a senior district judge for the Southern District of New York. Per Billboard , the case will determine whether Sheeran’s hit single ‘Thinking Out Loud’  is in breach of copyright due to its similarities with Gaye’s 1973 single ‘Let’s Get It On’.

The suit came from Structured Asset Sales, a company that owns a stake in the copyrights of the estate of Ed Townsend – a co-writer on ‘Let’s Get It On’. It was originally filed  back in 2016 , with  a decision regarding jury involvement  coming in 2019.

Ed Sheeran tour: See the setlist for his electrifying Mathematics Tour

Portrait of Melissa Ruggieri

In the same week that he debuted a searing Disney+ docuseries (“The Sum of All Things”) and released his sixth album (“Subtract”), Ed Sheeran also launched his 21 date stadium run of North America.

Dubbed The Mathematics Tour, the two-hour show draws from all of his albums since 2011 – “Plus,” “Multiply” (2014), “Divide” (2017), “Equals” (2021) and the new “Subtract,” and also includes a song from 2019’s “No. 6 Collaborations Project” (“Blow”).

Sheeran brought his 26-song set to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, for opening night in May, a week after regaling the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival throng with a shorter set. He's also playing intimate theater shows to coincide with his stadium dates in 14 of the cities of the Mathematics Tour.

Ed sheeran ‘mathematics tour’ 2023: we found some of the cheapest tickets.

Ed Sheeran sings a tune while strumming the guitar onstage.

You don’t need to be a mathematician to solve Ed Sheeran’s upcoming “Mathematics Tour.”

All you have to know is, “You + Ed Sheeran = A great time.”

In 2023, the beloved pop star has mapped out a massive 24-concert stadium tour bringing the good times to venues all over North America from May 6 through Sept. 23.

That includes a night at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on June 3 and back to back gigs at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium on June 10 and June 11 .

The “Mathematics Tour,” also known as the “+ – = ÷ x Tour,” will be Sheeran’s first official nationwide U.S. jaunt since his 2018 “÷” tour.

So, if you want to see “Teddy” play the hits like ‘Shape Of You,” “Bad Habits,” and “Shivers” live, we’ve got the ultimate cheat sheet for you to find Ed Sheeran tickets.

Rather than making you do all the mental math, we went ahead and found all the cheapest upper-level and floor-seat ticket prices on Vivid Seats.

How much are Ed Sheeran tickets?

Kick back and scroll- you’ll find out the answer below.

Ed Sheeran 2023 tour schedule

The following is a complete list of all Ed Sheeran U.S.A. tour dates, venues, show start times and links to buy Ed Sheeran concert tickets.

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Ed Sheeran opening acts

Sheeran is treating fans this tour.

On select dates, the Ed Sheeran tour will bring along Khalid, Russ, Dylan, Rosa Linn, Cat Burns, and Maisie Peters for the ride.

For the uninitiated, here’s a quick intro to each artist.

Khalid is an R&B/pop singer with six Grammy nominations under his belt. He got his start on SoundCloud and quickly rose to prominence after his single “Location” charted at number two on the Billboard chart.

Russ , a New Jersey native, brings hip-hop to the tour. His most recent EP, 2021’s “Chomp 2,” received praise for its “dope moments and quality hip hop bars” from Raw Side Hip Hop .

Dylan , an English singer-songwriter, just dropped her debut mixtape, “The Greatest Thing I’ll Never Learn,” in October 2022. Prior to opening for Sheeran, she served as the support act for Tate McRae and Bastille.

Rosa Linn , 22, hails from Armenia and represented the country in the 2022 Eurovision contest. Although she didn’t win, her song “SNAP” went viral on TikTok and now boasts over 300 million streams on Spotify.

Cat Burns broke through in 2022. Her single “Go” exploded into the mainstream after a 2020 release. Women In Pop called her recently released six-track EP full of “warmth, emotion, heartbreak, delicious melodies (and) gorgeous harmonies.”

Maisie Peters just dropped her first studio album, “You Signed Up for This,” on Ed Sheeran’s Gingerbread Man Records label. Known for her soprano voice, the pop singer counts Taylor Swift and Lily Allen as significant influences.

Ed Sheeran new album

In 2021, Ed Sheeran released (=), his fifth studio album. The record spawned major hits “Bad Habits” and “Shivers,” the latter toppled the former from the top spot on the U.K. and Irish charts.

In their review, Rolling Stone argued that the new album signaled Sheeran’s transformation from a “sensitive superstar” to one that produces “songs with choruses meant to incite cell-phone-lit sing-alongs in stadiums.”

Following (=) ‘s major success, the “Game of Thrones” guest star/pop icon dropped several singles, including collaborations with artists like Taylor Swift on “The Joker and the Queen” and Elton John on “Merry Christmas.”

It’s rumored that Sheeran will deliver a sixth studio album in 2023, complete with ten “epic music videos,” according to thenews.com.

Although nothing has been confirmed, hopefully, we’ll find out whether the rumors are confirmed before the North American tour.

In the meantime, you can hear all of Ed Sheeran’s albums here .

As for his last European tour, you can check out Sheeran’s 2022 “Mathematics Tour” setlist for multiple dates at this link .

"My name's on an Ed Sheeran poster!"

Cian Ducrot , the singer best-known for his songs 'All For You', and 'I'll Be Waiting' has been announced to support Ed Sheeran on his new mini UK and Europe tour .

Sharing the exciting news, Cian posted the tour dates along with an emotional video, and caption explaining what it meant to him to support Ed.

In the video, Cian can be seen sitting in a car when he's shown Ed's tour poster with his name on it. The Irish singer can be heard saying: "That is insane! Oh god! Never did I think the day would happen that I would see that. Holy sh-t! Oh my god! Nuts! Wow!"

When someone asks him what's going on, Cian replies: "I'm going on tour with Ed Sheeran, Ed Sheeran baby! My name's on an Ed Sheeran poster, that's all I need to... that's going straight in my basket and straight on my bedroom wall."

Warning: The video contains strong language

Cian explained in the caption how he would busk on street corners singing Ed's entire catalogue when he was younger and how he has been inspired by the ' Celestial ' singer. He wrote: 'I remember picking up my first acoustic guitar when I was about 13 and asking my friend to teach me how to play “small bump”, I remember standing on street corners every weekend and singing Ed’s entire catalogue and looking up to him as a songwriter every day.

'I remember every time I sat down and tried to write a song as good as “gimme love” , I remember being so inspired by a guy in a hoodie playing some real songs that he wrote and thinking one day I wanna do that. Not sure how I ended up here and not sure what it even means as it really all feels like a dream right now. Thank you @teddysphotos for having me join you for this special tour. You have no idea how much it means to me! 🤍 thank you to my amazing fans for supporting me as without you these things would never happen 🫶' (sic)

He went on to explain that due to this exciting news unfortunately he would have to reschedule dates for his Irish tour, but he hoped his fans understood.

'Due to this crazy news I’m sad to have to let you know that the Irish leg of my tour has been rescheduled and all original tickets are still valid for the new dates 🤍,' he explained.

'Thank you for understanding! very excited to see you all soon 🫶🫶'. (sic)

Budjerah And Maisie Peters To Support Ed Sheeran On Australian Tour

By Sosefina Fuamoli

Ed Sheeran has confirmed the support acts for his Australian tour in February and March 2023. Coodjinburra artist  Budjerah and UK singer-songwriter Maisie Peters will join Sheeran at stadium shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

The Australian leg of Sheeran’s  +–=÷x Tour is being touted as one of the biggest touring events to ever hit our shores. A number of shows are already sold out, with remaining tickets likely to fly as the tour approaches.

Ed Sheeran – ‘2Step (Budjerah Remix)’

Budjerah and Sheeran have history, with the Australian R&B artist featuring on the remix for Sheeran’s track ‘2Step’. It’s been an exciting couple of years for Budjerah, who won the ARIA Breakthrough Artist Award in 2021. His second EP,  Conversations , included the MAY-A collaboration, ‘Talk’, while recent singles include ‘Ready For the Sky’ and a cover of the Temper Trap’s ‘Sweet Disposition’ with Gretta Ray and Ngaiire.

For Maisie Peters, the Ed Sheeran tour will mark her first ever Australian shows. The 21 year old supported Sheeran across 54 dates throughout the UK and Europe and will join him on his North American tour, also in 2023. Peters is signed to Sheeran’s Gingerbread Man Records and has clocked over 37 million streams in Australia alone. Peters will be performing songs from her debut album, 2021’s  You Signed Up For This , as well as the recent singles, ‘Blonde’ and ‘Not Another Rockstar’.

Maisie Peters – ‘Psycho’
