Lizzo has finally announced details for her UK and European tour.

The Special Tour will visit venues across Birmingham, Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester and London’s O2 throughout March 2023.

The Grammy award-winning US singer will also play shows in Germany, Italy, France and Belgium and more in February and early March before arriving in the UK.

The tour is named after her recent album Special , released earlier this year. All of the UK dates will be supported by London-based singer and producer Joy Crookes.

“It’s about damn time The Special Tour came to the UK and Europe,” the “Boys” hitmaker wrote, sharing the news on an Instagram post.

“Yall been waiting for this one,” she added alongside a video that showed some highlights from previous dates.

How to get tickets:

Lizzo’s artist presale will begin on Thursday 6 October at 12pm and will run until Friday 7 October ay 11am. Tickets are available through her website.

She recently released her fourth album “Special” to widespread critical acclaim .

Lizzo will be coming to Manchester as part of a huge stadium tour next year. The songstress will perform at Manchester's AO Arena in March 2023 in support of her album 'Special'.

The Special Tour will also be coming to London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Dublin and will begin on March 8, 2023. Tickets will go on sale on Friday (October 7) at noon via Ticketmaster and fans can also opt for various pre-sale options to get early access to tickets.

Pre-sale tickets will go live on Tuesday, October 4 at 12pm for American Express members, those who have O2 Priority will be able to get pre-sale tickets from 12pm on Wednesday, October 5 and those who are signed up to the Three pre-sale will be able to get access from 12pm on Wednesday. There are also venue and Live Nation pre-sales as well as an artist pre-sale starting from Thursday, October 6 at 12pm.

Anyone on pay as you go or pay monthly contracts with Three can access tickets early by downloading the Three+ App, but fans must register on the app before presale opens on October 5.

Released in July this year 'Special' feature 12 breakout tracks, including single 'About Damn Time' which reached number one on the Billboard Top 100 with its distinct 'feel good' pop tune. Other tracks featured on the album are 'The Sign', 'Grrrls' and the R&B inspired 'Break Up Twice'.

A three-time Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, rapper, actress, and so much more, Lizzo has shifted the sound, soul, and spirit of popular music and culture. Her 2019, now-classic, RIAA Platinum-certified debut album, CUZ I LOVE YOU , bowed at No.4 on the Billboard 200, fuelled in part by history-making hits such as the Platinum-certified 'Tempo (Feat. Lizzo announces UK and Europe ‘The Special Tour’ dates

Lizzo is heading to the uk for four nights of 'the special tour'..

It’s about damn time! Lizzo has announced the UK and Europe leg of her 2023 ‘The Special Tour’.

Announcing a string of dates for spring 2023, the Grammy award-winning singer tweeted: “It’s about damn time The Special Tour came to the UK and Europe.”

Lizzo’s European dates begin in Oslo on 17 February and conclude at The O2 in London on 15 March.

She has four UK pitstops (Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, and London) alongside one night in Dublin through March.

The 34-year-old singer will be joined by Brit Award nominee Joy Crooks as the support act on the UK dates.

‘Truth Hurts’ hitmaker Lizzo previously left LGBTQ+ fans delighted with the uplifting message of her track ‘Everybody’s Gay’ .

Lizzo debuted the song in June at a West Hollywood tribute show by RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14-star Kornbread in front of an adoring crowd.

The chorus is an eruption of energy as Lizzo sings: “Dance the night away (Keep your p***y poppin’, pop those percolates). Everybody’s gay, yeah (It’s a happy place in here, baby, you’re safe). We can take our mask off. We can all ball and parlay. I can hardly wait.”

“I wanted to write a fantasy song, like one of those Hollywood songs where you’re taken away to a picture that I’m painting, a dream sequence kind of thing,” Lizzo told Apple Music . She noted that ‘Everybody’s Gay’ is the album’s centrepiece.

“And no, when I sing ‘Take your mask off,’ I didn’t mean your N95,” she adds. “I meant like the mask of the person that you have to uphold when you’re out in the world… Take that off, because we accept you for who you are in this space.”

Lizzo announces London O2 concert as part of massive new tour - here's how to get tickets

It's one of four UK dates forming the star's European tour to mark the launch of her latest album Special

Lizzo is set to play London's O2 as part of her 2023 UK and European tour and tickets to the one-night-only show go on sale this week. The London gig, on March 15 next year, will be the final date of the star's much-anticipated trip across the Atlantic for The Special Tour .

She is also set to play Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow as well as Dublin as well as a string of dates on mainland Europe. Joy Crooks will support on all UK dates.

Beloved by her fans as much for her positive and inclusive outlook as her iconic music, Lizzo is an award-winning singer, songwriter and rapper.

Her anthem 'Truth Hurts' has gone seven-times Platinum and held the Billboard 100 number 1 slot for seven weeks, making her the first the longest running number 1 by a solo female rap artist ever.

Tickets for all Lizzo's UK dates go on sale on Friday (October 7) at 12pm on Ticketmaster . But fans keen to get their hands on tickets before the general sale have a host of different pre-sale options, starting as early as Tuesday (October 4) at 12noon for American Express card holders.

There are further pre-sales on Wednesday, October 5 with LiveNation , O2 Priority, Three, venue pre-sale and artist presale. All the pre-sales will be available until 11am on Friday, October 7, closing just before general sale starts.

Lizzo's album 'Special' was released in July and has already reached number one in the Billboard Top 100 with fans and critics alike praising its feelgood pop mood.

Popular tracks include 'The Sign', 'Grrrls' and the R&B-inspired 'Break Up Twice'. Renowned for playing the flute in her concerts, the star hit headlines recently after playing a crystal one originally owned by James Madison, the fourth president of the United States.

She was the first person to play the flute, which is now owned by the Library of Congress who bought it to her Washington DC show amid heightened security, in more than 200 years.

Love Lizzo? Presale tickets for UK tour 2023 available for Three & O2 customers

O2 Priority grants pre-sale for all four UK 2023 shows, while the Three+ app offers pre-sale for Manchester

Love Lizzo? Of course you do, who doesn't? The US star announced her UK tour just days ago – and certain UK mobile network customers can get their hands on tickets right now. 

Yup, you read that correctly, right now – which is a full 48 hours ahead of the general on-sale date for other customers, commencing 7 October 2022. 

Three UK customers can get early purchase access for the Manchester show, taking place on 11 March 2023. O2 Priority grants customers early purchase access primarily for the London show, taking place on 15 March 2023 (at The O2, but of course), but the other three shows (Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester) will also be available according to O2's website .

If you're a Three network customer and have your heart set on her Manchester show to go sing your heart out, you'll want to open the Three+ rewards app where the Tickets section should contain all the info (if you've previously registered). O2 Priority, meanwhile, is available via the network's Priority app or its dedicated website . 

The offer is restricted to one per customer, purchasing up to four presale tickets. It's on a first-come, first-served basis, assuming it doesn't sell out in a matter of seconds. 

Not a customer of either network? Ticketmaster is the only other seller , where tickets go on sale from noon on 7 October 2022. There are four UK dates, details as follows, so good luck bagging your ideal location and date:

• Wed 8 March 2023: Glasgow at OVO Hydro
• Thur 9 March 2023: Birmingham at Utilita Arena
• Sat 11 March 2023: Manchester at AO Arena
• Wed 15 March 2023: London at The O2

Tickets to see Lizzo in the UK next summer as part of her 2023 'Special Tour' can be bought today, as general sale starts.

The sale starts at midday today on Ticketmaster, and after a wave of presale options earlier in the week demand to get tickets are expected to be high.

Although there is no show in Liverpool, fans are expected to queue up to buy tickets to the other UK venue options, including in Manchester , Birmingham, Glasgow and London.

The tour is in celebration of her latest album 'Special', released in July this year it features 12 breakout tracks, including the Billboard Top 100 single 'About Damn Time'. Other tracks on the album are 'The Sign', 'Grrrls' and the R&B inspired 'Break Up Twice'.

Lizzo is also known to accompany her performances with a distinct flute solo, which has become her much-loved artist accessory. On the UK leg of the 'Special Tour' she will be supported by singer songwriter Joy Crookes, who has quickly become an instrumental voice in the British music scene, with one of her many well-know releases '19th Floor'.

Availability for Manchester is low now. The only seats left are 'Ticketmaster Platinum' and that costs the best part of £160.

Tickets are selling fast

It's been less than 30 minutes since tickets went on sale, and there's already some low availability.

Manchester, Birmingham and London all have the 'low availability' warning on Ticketmaster.

To help with increase demand it seems more variety of standing tickets have been added to Manchesters date, now priced at £134.45 each.

We've reached the front of the queue and can share the prices are currently looking like.

It's good news, as the prices haven't gone up by much since presale.

The cheapest price is for a standard seated tickets, at £42.50 we assume this is for a seat quite high up. The seated prices range up to £92.95 each.

Standing starts at £75.95 each and platinum tickets starts at £129.

General sale is LIVE!

Tickets go on sale in just over 30 minutes time, but before they do there are some key things to remember.

Lets start with timings, this is your best chance and getting ready to launch into the online queue. Ticketmasters waiting room open at 11:45 and tickets go on sale at 12pm (Friday, October 7).

Lizzo has announced four UK dates for her upcoming 'Special Tour', but sadly there is no show in Liverpool.

For fans eager to get tickets Manchester is the easiest option from Liverpool. As well as the four UK shows there's another one nearby in Dublin.

How to get tickets

Today is the day, as tickets for Lizzo's 2023 'Special Tour' go on general sale. For anyone who didn't manage to get tickets earlier in the week during presale, now is your chance.

Tickets go on general sale at 12pm today, Friday Ocotber, 7, on Ticketmaster.

As thousands of fans are expected to try and buy tickets today, the online queue's are expected to get very busy. We saw this with the recent Harry Styles and Coldplay queues, as they reached more than 400,000 people at times. As numbers are bound to be high today, doing these things could boost your chances of getting tickets.

• Update payment details
• Log on with more than on device
• Open more than one browser
• Follow the 20 minute rule - log on 20 minutes before ready to join the waiting room

More presale tomorrow

The presale will last until 11am this Friday, October 7, closing an hour before general sale starts.

The demand to get tickets is proving high for Lizzo's 2023 tour, all we can suggest is get to the general sale queue 15 minutes before it opens, by joining the waiting room.

Ticket availability

Just two hours after presale tickets went on sale, majority of ticket options have either sold out or showing as not available.

Fans trying to get tickets for Manchester's March 11 date with O2 Priority and Three are having little luck, as there are no more standing options available. There is availability with American Express presale but you have to pay using an AMEX card, prices now start at £75 for a seated ticket.

It is the same for other venues, including for the London show at the O2. All presale tickets are showing as 'unavailable' apart from American Express which starts at £92 per ticket.

Ticket prices

We now know how much it will cost to get tickets to see Lizzo. Presale tickets today are likely to be cheaper than general sale on Friday as more people try to get tickets.

Pitch floor standing starts at £72.50 and seated tickets vary in price from £42.50 to £92.50.

What can fans expect

During the pandemic, Lizzo was mostly quietly. She released “Rumors” in 2021 and “About Damn Time” in 2022. Her fourth album is called Special, the same name as her 2022 tour.

Luzzi has opened for Florence and the Machine on tour before. She had smaller headlining tours in 2017 and 2019 as well. Other artists similar to Lizzo are Megan Thee Stallion , Cardi B , and Beyonce .

Lizzo And Latto Are Going On Tour, And It Sounds Iconic

These past few weeks have been an exciting time for Lizzo fans. The star dropped a new single, “About Damn Time”; announced her next album , Special ; pulled double duty on Saturday Night Live ; and joined Harry Styles on stage at Coachella . Now, Lizzo has revealed she’ll be embarking on a North American tour later this year.

The singer made the announcement in an April 25 Instagram post. “[Three] years since my last tour…and I’m finally coming back to YOU! So excited to announce the SPECIAL TOUR ‘22,” Lizzo wrote alongside a promo video. The clip featured a snippet of Lizzo’s unreleased song “Special,” which she performed for the first time on SNL on April 16.

“Special” shares the same name as Lizzo’s upcoming fifth studio album, which is set to arrive on July 15. Weeks after unveiling her record, Lizzo will kick off her North America tour in September. Wasia Project have announced their 2024 ‘The Isotope’ UK tour which is set to kick off later this year.

The duo – comprised of siblings Will Gao and Olivia Hardy – will embark on a seven-stop tour across the UK in November. The short trek will commence on November 10 at the Stylus in Leeds. From there, they will make stops in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff and Bristol. The tour will wrap up on November 19 at the O2 Academy 2 in Birmingham.

The UK tour will follow their sold-out US and EU tour dates in September and October. Their shows are in support of their upcoming EP ‘Isotope’ which is set for release on August 29 and is available to pre-order / pre-save here .

Last year, the duo spoke to NME for The Cover and opened up about their willingness to evolve. “Reinventing ourselves and doing what we want and feel like, that’s what drives us,” Hardy told us. “We’re so excited about the limitless possibilities of what we can create, especially together, and so excited about where our sound is gonna go next.”

Speaking to NME in March of 2023, Wasia Project discussed why they had just started to play live gigs even though they had been making music for a while. “I’d say that we’re currently at our creative peak, in that we released the first EP and performed it live, which really kicked things off for us. It’s like we’ve got this binder full of ideas all the time; it’s always bouncing and we always feel like we need an outlet to share our creations. Our minds are at a point where they’re feeling really fresh and full of anticipation for what lies ahead for us,” Hardy said.
