Visited Kipu Ranch and did the 3-hour tour with my husband and 11-year-old daughter. We had a blast and very much enjoyed the stories told by our guide, Justin, whenever we stopped along the tour. Troy and Giggles were our guides and did an excellent job of showing the group how to drive the UTVs properly over the terrain. They shared some Hawaiian history and pointed out famous movie scenes that were filmed on the ranch, we were also treated to some great views of the island that you wouldn't otherwise see!

What a way to check out the private ranch where a couple of movies were shot. Our tour guides were very informative and funny. The test drive session they gave made us comfortable with the ATVs, which were well maintained and took on the most rugged surfaces with ease. The locations were beautiful!

We LOVED our waterfall tour with Kipu Ranch! Our tour guides were amazing! Loved the stories about the ranch, the movies made there, and the history of the island. Take the road less travelled in a customised, leather seated, Land Rover Defender Jeep through Inis Mór (Inishmore). This is the only type of vehicle that can access these remote island roads. The Aran Off Road Experience provide guided walks to attractions like, Poll na bPéist (The Wormhole). This is a natural geographical phenomenon and rectangular shaped pool carved out of the rock by the Atlantic Ocean. It is one of the most visited places on the island. Visit the oratory at Teampall Bheanáin (St Benan's Church) one of the smallest 11th century churches in Europe. See the Blue Flag sandy beach at Cill Mhuirbhigh (Kilmurvey) and Dún Eochla Fort the highest point of the island. Take the Inis Mór - Lub Cill Mhuirbhigh walking trail, starting at Kilronan pier. Follow this 16km looped route taking 4.5 hours to complete.

Visit the Dún Aonghasa Visitor Centre to learn more about Dún Aonghasa and The Aran Islands.

Nice Jeep Safari with two great tour guides who shown us one of the beautiful parts of the Aruba national park. Main activity was the natural pool and it was awesome. You get snorkels to see the fishes inside the pool. You can jump from the cliff and dive into warm and clear water. I can recommend ABC.

Uncle John was our fabulous tour guide, he was informative, funny, friendly. We made about 5 stops and the tour. The jeeps were fun, and safe, for a bumpy ride on the many hills and rough terrain we went through. For the amount I payed I could not ask for more. Loved it.

What places can I visit on my Lanai Off-Road Guided Trekker Tour?

Visit famous Lanai landmarks like Lanai City, Shipwreck Beach, and Garden of the Gods. Experience the beauty of the Pineapple Island with an expert guide on the Lani Trekker Tour. You can also set your own itinerary and explore the island on your own with a Lanai Jeep Rental.

1. Shipwreck Beach (Kaiolohia) and Petroglyph Trail: 30 minutes from Lanai City, this stretch of beach is infamous for the numerous ships that have wrecked along its shallow channel. There is even the hull of an oil tanker that beached here back in the 1940s. Just beyond the Shipwreck Beach sign is the beginning of the trail leading to the site of ancient petroglyphs.

2. Garden of the Gods (Keahiakawelo): Located 45 minutes north of Lanai City, this area of north Lanai features a unique and almost Mars-like landscape of rocks and boulders of all sizes. On clear days, you can see Maui, Molokai, and Oahu for some of the most overwhelmingly stunning views in Hawaii.

3. Polihua Beach: Approximately one hour north of Lanai City is one of the most secluded and pristine beaches that you can visit in Hawaii. The 4x4 trail to the beach is very fun to drive and offers many exceptional views along the way. Although it is beautiful, it is highly recommended to stay out of the water here. Strong currents and deep water very close to the shore give the illusion of tranquility where the danger of the swift currents is hidden beneath the surface.

Great experience!

We had a great experience touring Lanai! We feel that we really got to see the whole island on our tour. We visited Lanai City, Shipwreck Beach, Garden of the Gods, the Cat Sanctuary, and stopped for beautiful photo opps ... more around the island. Our guide, Russ, was amazing, and really went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend!

Great tour of Lana’i

Russ was an excellent tour guide. Informative and humorous. Nice 1/2 day tour of Lana’i. Hulopoe Beach was disappointing but just luck of the draw.Four Seasons was nice to visit.

Day Trip to Lana’i

We took the ferry over to the neighboring island of Lana’i and spent the day there. Our awesome tour guide, Clive regaled us with stories of his life there on Lana’i and took us to the Garden of the Gods (looks like Mars ... more landscape), then checked out Shipwreck Beach, visited the Cat Sanctuary and then spent the rest of the afternoon in Hulopo’e Beach.Thank you to Clive for bring friendly, knowledgeable and making us feel like ohana!

Great day trip to another island!

Michael (Mike) was our tour guide and created an exceptional experience for us. He was very welcoming, building rapport almost seemed second nature for him. He knew how to keep the audience engaged during the entire expe ... more rience. The ride to pick up and start the event was just about the right length of time. I especially liked the fact that he could use a microphone while driving and that everyone in the vehicle could hear him. My family had our eyes opened on the lush landscape, history, and culture that Hawaii has to offer. Mike ensured that every angle was covered, and I honestly wish we could have strapped an audio recorder to him so we could capture all that he had to share. We all had ample time at the stops for swimming and pics. Mike was even nice enough to make an additional jump off the waterfall cliff with my go pro as I wasn’t brave enough to take that plunge. Our only constructive feedback on this event would be to tighten up the “meet up” process at the local shops. We were unsure where or how we needed to check in. Once we saw the white van arrive with the logo we understood.
