Manchester has a good tram service with routes to most of the major parts of the city (including from the centre up to Old Trafford!) For anything else you can just use Uber. To get from the airport to the centre, there's trains from Picadilly which take about 15/20 minutes and aren't expensive!

City Centre. Hi All, as the title states i'm travelling to England for the first time AND solo for the first time with a short 6 day trip to Manchester and London. I am going because i am huge Manchester United fan since i was a kid. I am going to two football games but not quite sure what to see, do or experience here besides the football.
