We only offer home visits with our services

Consultations.

This includes a physical examination of your pet and discussing any specific health problems your pet has (eg diarrhoea or itchy skin or ears), and providing treatment or advice as necessary.

Vaccinations

All pets need annual vaccinations to protect against nasty diseases, a physical examination and general health check is included in this service.

Repeat Prescriptions

If your pet has an ongoing condition or is on long term medication we can perform their medication checks at your home and provide their prescription.

Letting a pet go is the hardest part of pet ownership, if the time has come for your pet, our vet Rachel can administer peaceful euthanasia right at home with professionalism and sympathy. If required, cremation options are available to suit any budget.

Claw Clipping & Anal Glands

Nails that are too long can cause excess pressure on the nail bed, chip and break, creating a painful condition that needs veterinary attention. If the anal glands don’t empty properly, they can become blocked, making bowel movements difficult or painful, and may potentially lead to infections or abscesses.

Rachel graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2013 and has worked in small animal practices in Worcestershire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire since then. Now she is excited to offer home health care to pets and owners in Coventry and Warwickshire who find trips to the vet inconvenient or stressful. Rachel loves animals and has a Greyhound called Filly and a Cocker Spaniel called Spencer.

How to Prepare for Your Appointment

We accept 20 appointments per day, per location.

After we’ve confirmed your appointment, please download and fill in your check in form , and prepare your cat by preventing it from eating  food after midnight the night before. 

Please arrive to check-in for your appointment between 8:30 – 9:00 am. Bring each cat in a secure carrier.

You will be called when it is time to pick up your pet

Please note: Due to the need to book an available time slot with a vet (and delays associated) we do not operate an emergency home call out response. In the event of an emergency requiring urgent care, we are able to refer you to attend one of our partner practices.

Out of Hours Care

When we are closed (5pm-9am) you can access urgent care and advice via our Telemedicine call answering service. Calling our number or 02045927542 , will access a 24 hour telemedicine consultation. This telemedicine veterinarian will assess the urgency of veterinary care needed and be able to arrange and refer you to one of our Emergency Care Supplier local to you.

My Background

I'm a vet with a special interest in keeping travelling pets healthy! I spent  a year studying parasites and exotic diseases for my MSc at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical medicine, and 3 years working to develop dog vaccines against Leishmania. I have trained as an Official Veterinarian (OV) which qualifies me to complete the UK government's travel and export paperwork for pets (OCQ (V)-CA). I will also make an individual country specific plan for preventive medications and strategies to keep your pet protected from disease while they are enjoying their travels. I'm based in Kenilworth in the West Midlands, but I'm happy to travel.
